D2D Autumn Mums Card

Hi everyone!
I wanted to share a quick card I did for D2D Friday Image Challenge and for
Saturday's Challenge
The image is Autumn Mums that I colored with my copics.
I cut another image and colored it the same as the first and cut just the mums out so I could pop the image up.
The paper used is from Cloud 9 Seasonal Stack
Sentiment is from My Craft Spot~ Happy Fall
To give the pot some extra dimensions...I added crackle accents. I'm not sure if the picture really shows it but the pot looks so cool!
To enter this into Saturday's challenge~Die Cut Diva's my 2 die cuts are the image and the frame for the image.

Thanks for stopping by....sorry for the quick post.
See you all tomorrow :)

Christmas is Claus for Celebration~ Another Bugbites Card w/ Mistletoe Stamp Set

Good Morning Everyone!
I have another card to share featuring Barb's over at BugBites new stamp set Mistletoe.

I just love this time of year...getting ready for the holidays. Making holiday cards and here is my newest card with this adorable stamp set.

I LOVE making twisted easel cards....I think they are super easy to make and look awesome when opened.

My card is the A2 size twisted easel using black cardstock for the base.
I layered the base with white cardstock and then red polka dot digi paper I received from Get Funky! as a prize.
The adorable Santa and the chimney are cut from Simply Charmed 3.5" using all the layers on Santa and all the layers but the face on the chimney (I hide the face with my gypsy)
Santa has some stickles on his hat and I added stickles to the chimney top to look like snow.
I used ribbon from my stash as well as Trendy Twine in Peppermint Stick.
The sentiment is stamped on a tag from The Digi Bistro~Stylish Edges
And how adorable is that sentiment?!?!
Love it and love how it fits so well with my card :)

So there you it...my final sneak at this adorable stamp set and I have to say I will be making LOTS more Christmas cards and using this awesome set.
Barb now has this set and her other new set Magic Spells up for sale over on her blog BugBites.
Make sure to hop over and pick up a set or two.
They are perfect for this upcoming holiday and Barb ships them super fast!!

Another post for me today....that is 3!

For my Bugbites sneak click here
For The Digi Bistro This to That Challenge click here

I am on a roll and wanted to share this card with you today because I am pretty proud of it!
I so love the way it turned out that I am thinking of making another so I can keep one :) I am hoping that I have enough scraps to do that!!

I am already trying to get a jump start on my chrismas cards and since I usually send out anywhere between 60-100 I have my work cut out for me. I think I have 15 done so far....almost a quarter of the way there! Good thing I have 2 months to work on them :)

This card was put together originally for The Paper Players and  during my blog hopping I found several more challenges that this card fit.

Oh so here are at the details:
I used the sketch from The Paper Players
and paper from my stash....The paper was from My Mind's Eye Oh Christmas Tree Paper Pack.
The card is an A2 size on Kraft Cardstock matted with maroon cardstock and my pattern paper.
I attached brown seam binding in ribbons to each of my 3 panels.
All the cardstock was inked with Coffee Bean Pigment ink
My image is from Bugaboo Stamps~ Ava Chrismas Mistletoe Fairy
and I colored her with my copics.
For some fairy sparkle I added some stickles in Lime Green
The sentiment is from Bugbites~ All Year Round Stamp Set

So there you have it...what I think of as my super cute Christmas card...

I am entering this into the following Challenges:

Post #2 ~~~ This to That Challenge Day over at Cher's Studio's

Morning everyone!
This is my second post today....for my sneak peaks of BugBites new stamp set Mistletoe click here or scroll down :)

It is time for a new Challenge over at Cher's Studio featuring The Digi Bistro DT!
This to That Challenge #7 is Tag You're It
This challenge is all about tags...placing a tag somewhere on your project.
Your tag can be a scallop circle, square, oval....anything that is a tag.
It needs to be incorporated somewhere on your card.
Remember you do not have to use a file from The Digi Bistro but if you haven't yet been over to the store you should check it out...and pick up a file or two.
They are so very easy to use and Cher has lots of great cuts!!

For my card I made a Diagonal Double Pocket Card. I found the tutorial here from Splitcoaststampers.
The paper used is My Minds Eye~Pumpkin Patch and Blackbird.
I have to say I just LOVE this paper. So much so that I didn't want to cut it :(
I am off to buy more just to have...it is so cool looking!

The tags were cut using...guess what?!?! LOL
Tag It! from The Digi Bistro
I also used Pick Your Poison set for the pumpkin
and
Halloween Town for the scallop label.
The sentiment is from Fiskars~ Halloween Night Stamp set.

This was a fun fun fun card to make and it is so very easy!!

Now please hop over to Cher's Studio and check out everyone else's project...
then make your own project using a tag and link it up.
I hope you like my card and will join us this week.

Thanks for stopping by and see you all later :)

Belated Birthday Card w/ D2D Image

Good Morning Everyone!
I have my weekly D2D freebie I received last week for completing my project and wanted to get this card finished because tomorrow is a brand new image day :)
This weeks image was Happiness Blooms
and here is my card
I really love the way this card came together.
I colored the image with my copics and for the center could not decide on colors so instead I made my own rolled ribbon center.
It for sure gives the flower the extra texture I was looking for!
I added Creative Inspiration Paints to the petals in Light Purple and it gives it some beautiful sparkle.
I used eyelets up the side and ran my seam binding through that...again for some more texture.
The sentiment is computer generated and I know there is always a need for belated birthday cards.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Birthday Sundaes~ Belated Birthday
D2D~ Friday's Free Image Challenge

This to That Challenge #6~ Flowers and Bling

Good Morning everyone!
It is time for another This to That Challenge over at Cher's Studio featuring

Carley from The Real iCarley is our blog host for this week and all the details for this weeks challenge can be found over on her adorable blog! Make sure you head over there (after looking at my card) for all the details, the other DT's projects and to link up your project.

This weeks challenge is Flowers and Bling
The DT are all using flowers from The Digi Bistro and Cher has a whole bunch of adorable flowers to choose from.
Our card could be for any occasion~birthday, fall, thank you....anything
BUT
we had to add some bling AND make our flower 3D.

Here is what I came up with.
I wanted to design a CAS card to showcase the flower.
I used the Simply Tweet set
and cut the flower out at 4".
I then broke the flower apart and cut 8 more petals to use for the 3D flower.
Here's a closeup of the flower.
I used white cardstock, sprayed it with silver and purple glimmer mist (my Bling) as well as inked the edges with purple ink.
The petals are held together with a purple glittery brad (also my Bling)

This is the video I used to make my flower. Love the way it came out :)

So I hope you like my card and will play along with us this week.
Remember you do not have to
~use a file from The Digi Bistro
~cards can be combined with stamps or die cuts
~if you dont own any 3D flowers consider purchasing a file from The Digi Bistro
I know you will love all Cher's files~ I know I do :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT day :)

Watch For Falling Leaves!~~ My 1st Shaker Card

Hi everyone!
Fall is in the air....woke up to it being 45 degrees and only warming to about 66.
Just last week it was 80. Guess that is what we get in Buffalo :)

I have been seeing lots of new techniques and designs around the blogging world and have written them on my to do list....
try a shaker card is on that list and I can now cross it off as having tried it :)
These are so much fun and I know I will be making more!!

Here is my card....a fall card for sure and pretty clean and simple!

Ok here are the details!!
I used this super cute Bugaboo image~ Oz Scarecrow and colored him with my copics
E30,31,33,35,37 and 47
YR23
G09 and R29

I cut several different color leaves to add to my shaker to make it look like the leaves were falling. The leaves were cut using SCAL and sized at .5"

The sentiment is from My Craft Spot~Happy Fall and was stamped on a larger leaf cut at 2.5".

The paper is from Cloud 9's Seasonal Paper Pack and I layered it on green cardstock and my kraft card base.

The shaker part is a kit I purchased which made this card sooooo easy to put together.
All I had to do was color my image, fill the shaker and attached to my base. The plastic already has glue on it.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Crafty Sprouts~Sketch (I used most of the sketch...just eliminated the center border)
My Craft Spot~ Fall Leaves
Cards Cupid~ Anything Goes
Bugaboo Stamps~ Let's Create a Scene
Icopic~Unloved Colors
The Paper Players~CAS Animals or Plants
Pile it On~ Fall Colors
The Kraft Journal: Make it Monday~~ Welcome Fall Challenge
Love to Crop~ Happy Fall

Craft Your Passion Challenge #76~ Occupationals Hazards

Good Morning Everyone!
Hope you all had a great weekend!

It's time for another challenge over at Craft Your Passion.

This weeks challenge is Occupational Hazards #76
and the DT got the chance to work with images from
Dude Time Doodles/Bonibleaux Designs

Here is what I came up with
My image is Howie HotHotHot
I colored him with my copics and colored another image of his jacket, cut it out and layered it for alittle dimension.
I  added some glossy accents to his jacket for the shiny effect as well as on the water to give it the wet look.
I computer printed the sentiment....I had nothing in my stash of stamps that I felt worked with him and this was what I came up with~alittle corny I know :)
I also added some homemade skittles for alittle more extra.

I hope you will play along with us this week over at Craft Your Passion.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a GREAT day :)

I used this super adorable image from Bugaboo Stamps~ Deacon~School Sign It
He was colored with my copics and cut out.
After I put my paper bag mini together he was glued to the front cover.
I used The Cutting Cafe numbers from School Days and punched them out with my 1" circle punch for the date.
All the paper for this album is from DCVW~The Grade School Pack

Do you see that adorable little scissors and apple~ Those are these really cute adhesive Glitter Shapes from Recollections. Perfect for my back to school album.

"Boo" Halloween Card using Mini Monster's Cartridge

Morning Everyone!

Since Halloween is only a few weeks away I really wanted to play more with it.
Here is my creation~~
Spooky cute~don't you think?

For this card I used K & Company~Spook~Tacular paper that I just got from Michaels. Love this paper pack!!
I cut the ovals from George and Basic Shapes~one at 3 x 4 and the other 2.75 x 3.75
The ghost is from Mini Monsters and he is cut at 2.5. I cut all his layers and decided that these googly eyes made him look so much cuter.
I didn't have ribbon that matched so I used white grosgrain ribbon and colored it with my copics~V15. The picture is really hard to tell but it is a perfect match!
The sentiment is from Friskar's~Halloween Night Stamp set
Buttons are from my stash and I added Trendy Twine in Orange Licorice.

Challenge Time w/ The Digi Bistro~~This to That Tuesday Challenge #5

Morning Everyone!!
Are you ready for another This to That Tuesday Challenge over at Cher's Studio.
The Digi Bistro's DT has some adorable
Fall Easel Cards
to share and hope you will join in and play along this week.

Carley~ my fellow DT sister is the mastermind behind this weeks challenge. Thanks Carley :)
So again the Challenge is to
Make an Easel Card all things Fall using any cutting files, stamps or embellishments.
~~Birds, leaves, Halloween....whatever comes to mind as fall to you~~

The DT will all be showcasing some of Cher's awesome SVG files from The Digi Bistro.
Don't have any files from The Digi Bistro?
You can always enter a challenge for the chance to win some or follow us on FB where Cher is always having a contest giving away mini sets.

So here is my Easel Card closed...Aww what a cute monster right?!?!
And here it is open

 Now for the details...
I used the Pick Your Poison SVG set
as well as the "Beware" sentiment which is not pictured but is also on this set.
I hid the beware to leave the center free for another sentiment or personal note.
My little monster was stamped with PK~691 Make a Monster Face
and his eyes, mouth and feet were painted using Creative Inspirations Winter Frost Paint to give it some glimmer.
My DP is SEI~ Monsterville Monster Mash. Love all those eyeballs :)
The sentiment bubble is also from SEI's Monsterville series...I just stamped "Halloweenie" using My Creative Time's All Around Halloween Stamp Set
I didn't have matching ribbon so I made my own using white grosgrain ribbon and my copics
C10 and YR04
I also added some Trendy Twine stitching for alittle more texture.

Fall to me means the change in leaves...the cooler temps...apple picking...pumpkin picking and
HALLOWEEN!! What about you...what does Fall mean to you?
