Ho Ho Ho~Gift Card Holder w/Peachy Keen Stamps

Good Morning Everyone!!
I can not believe it is Christmas Eve Day....
I hope you all have a VERY Merry Christmas and let the festivities begin!!
I do plan of popping in tomorrow to announce the winner of the
"Owl Be Home For Christmas" Blog hop prize...
If you didn't get a chance to hop you can still check back to my post HERE for a chance to win a spool of Trendy Twine!! I will keep the comments for that prize open until tonight :)
So for my project today
I still had a few last minute gifts to wrap including making some gift card holders...
I don't care too much for the ones that come with the gift cards so I thought I would make my own
and enter them into this week's
Anything Goes
but you have to use Peachy Keen Stamps
I used this stamp set

And made this gift card.....
What do you think???

I ended up making 2 of these because I LOVE the way they turned out!!
And the best thing about this....it was so easy to put together!!
I used My Creative Time's~ Embossed Gift Card Holder Die
and die cut it with my cuttlebug and Core'dination card stock.
For Santa's belt I just cut a strip of black card stock at 1" and used the buckle from the
witch's hat from SVG Cuts~ Gimme Candy Boxes SVG Kit.
I added some silver stickles to the buckle and then using the sentiments from the Christmas Tag Mini's I heat embossed them with Creative Inspirations Paint~ Deliquesce Black embossing powder!
That was it!
These will be going to 2 kiddo's ages 12 and 15....I hope they like them
But know at that age it is more about what is inside that counts...Right!!

So that is all I have for today!!
Again I hope you like my gift card!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT Christmas Eve Day!

I love being able to design and share my projects and greatly honored when the principal asked if I could send out a card to a former teacher at the school who's husband passed away suddenly.

"Frosty the Snowman"

Hi Everyone!!
I have my final Christmas card to share to be entered over at The 12 Days of Christmas w/

Today's theme was to use a Christmas Song as your inspiration.
I used Frosty the Snowman and the adorable
Snowman Skates image

This is a very quick and easy card....I colored the image with my copics and then matted it on Scarlet Jewel PTI cardstock.
The sentiment was stamped using Black Memento Ink using Joy's Life~ Wintery Puns stamp set and that too was matted on Scarlet Jewel PTI cardstock.
I ran a piece of black cardstock through my cuttlebug using the snowflake (?) folder
Attached all the layers and TaDa..
A card was born :)
Very simple and very easy.

I have been working on a surprise project that I hope to share really soon with you all.
I am so super excited about how this turned out...
Details up here soon :)

That is all I have for you tonight
I will be back tomorrow!
Have a GREAT night!!

A Sneak Peak at Bugbites New Stamp Set~ Mistletoe

Morning Everyone!
I am so super excited to share this adorable stamp set preview with you for Barb over at Bugbites
She has done an amazing job with this set and I know you will all LOVE this set....I know I do :)

I have made a few cards using this set and I will share them over the course of the next few days...leading up to the release of Barb's 2 new sets this week.
Here is my first card using the Mistletoe Stamp Set

I made another shaker card! They are so much fun to make and I love the extra detail it adds to my card.
The stamped image is from Peachy Keen Stamps PK~M17 "Snow Much Love"
I colored the image with my copics,
C5,C10
E47
YR14
R39
For the shaker I used seed beads in clear and a baby blue. (my kids had a blast shaking this card)
The paper is baby blue and white card stock which I embossed with my cuttlebug snowflake folder.
I have an adorable mini snowflake punch that I punched out 3 snowflakes and used my irock to add some bling to the centers.
The sentiment is the cutest isn't it!?!?!
I knew when I saw it exactly what I wanted to do with it :)
I love how this all came together and love the fonts Barb used for this set.

I hope you enjoyed my card and will hop over to Bugbites to see the other designers sneak peak project.
Thanks for stopping by and I will have another preview on Tuesday.

Whimsical Wednesdays Challenge #17~~ Humor LOL!!

Morning Bloggers!!

It is time again for another Whimsical Wednesday Challenge.
Ready for this one....Challenge #17 is...
"Sense of Humor"
For this challenge you must include something funny, whether a funny photo or image and/or include some wording related to humor such as laugh, giggle, chuckle, funny, hysterical.
You get the picture...right. Lets make the DT laugh :)

So alittle background before I share my LO.
I posted awhile back about going to a birthday party with my son and the party having Nickle City Reptiles as their entertainment.
Not only do the kids LOVE seeing all the animals that Jeff brings...the adults LOVE listening to how funny Jeff is.
I attached a video link so you can see a small glimpse at how funny Jeff is.
He goes around locally and does birthday parties, the fair and school events~~ BUT~~ he also is a pretty regular Late Night with Jimmy Fallon guest.

Cool huh...so for my LO I did one of "Rockey" ~  the American Alligator
When Jeff brought Rockey out it was not funny :)
The kids were excited but screamed also. Not many of us get to see an alligator up close.

It just so happened that Rockey was in the mood to perform that day.
Doesn't it look like he is smiling?
The letters were cut with my cricut from Cuttin' Up and I added some white gel pen doodles

This picture cracks me up...LOL.. it really looks like he is laughing :)

Crazy that Jeff was able to put Rockey on his back and tickle him....actually I think he was just rubbing his belly but it looks like he is being tickled.

I added a couple of info circles as my journaling using my 2" circle punch.
I inked around the outside with coffee bean pigment ink.
The rub ons are from DCVW~ Safari Kids

Here is my alligator from Create a Critter. He is too cute not to put on this.
I embossed him with my Tiny Mosaic cuttlebug folder.

So there you have it :)
Do you think this is funny?!?!
Hope so and hope you will join us this week over at Whimsical Wednesdays  for our "Sense of Humor" challenge.
Remember you have 2 weeks to enter. Don't forget to check out the other DT's LO's. I know they are all so funny and so very inspirational.

Thanks for stopping by!

Afternoon Bloggers!
I have a card to share with you as well as a reqest.....For the request, if you could please find the time to pop over the the Papercraft Star blog and vote for my card. It is #1. I would be soooooo appreciative :)
Thanks bunches...you have till 6am tomorrow to vote.

Next I have a card to share that I made for 3 challenges.
Birthday Sundaes , 365 Cards and CropStop.

For the Birthday Sundaes challenge we were to use wet or dry embossing and the 365 Cards challenge was a sketch. CropStop's challenge, twice as much fun is to use 2 embossing folders in your project.

The background paper is from Jillibean Soup and the rest is from my scrap. The Circle I cut at 3" using George and Basic Shapes and the cake is from Simply Charmed cut at 2.5"

I embossed the circle with my cuttlebug and a birthday folder and the icing~divine swirls, flames~~herringbone.

The sentiment is from fiskars stamps.

That's all I have for now....remember if you haven't entered my 300 follower giveaway you have until this Friday~June 17th to enter :)

Now off to make dinner and then to play some ball....Have a GREAT night everyone :)

It's a Linking Party :)

Hi Bloggers!!
Guess what?!?! It is still raining here and will be for the entire week! I had wanted to get so much done outside, my husband took the week off to work on the garden and we can do NOTHING outside :(
Hoping for a break to at least do alittle planting but it is not looking too good.
So instead we are cleaning the garage..sounds like fun right?!?! Needed to get done for sure!

Anyways I made a card to "Celebrate" this fun linking party!
Alex over at You Had Me at Craft has been working so hard to get this fun linky party together and I can't wait to join in!
This is my card I made for today

I used the free SVG file

Cheryl's Sweet Treats Mini SVG Collection

and cut the cupcake and the banner from the set.
It is a pretty simple card and was very easy to put together!
I stamped the sentiment from the Fiskar's Birthday Stamp set
Used my cuttlebug-- Divine Swirls to the "frosting" and my crimper for the wrapper.
Everything is up on foam dots for alittle extra dimensions.
So I hope you like my card for today and if you get a chance hop over and visit Alex and link up!
I can't wait to hop around, visit the other blogs linked and find some more great inspiration!

It's Time for Another Whimsical Wednesday Challenge

It is that time again....A new Challenge over at Whimsical Wednesday.
This weeks challenge is to make a Birthday LO with any kind of Embossing.

My nephew is turning 1 in July and he just LOVES monkeys.
This 12 x 12 LO was made just for him and once he has his birthday I will put the pictures in and give it to my sister.

So I used paper from Recollection-I believe-It came from Michael's and was purchased a while ago for this purpose..to make something cute for my little nephew.

I punched 2" circles and used 1 of my favorite tools..the cuttlebug to emboss each circle with the herringbone folder. They were all inked with coffee bean pigment ink.
On another of my shopping quests I found Tim Holtz grunge board letters on clearance. They came in handy for this. I inked them all with fire brick, frayed burlap and vintage photo. It really brought out the embossed stripes that were already on them.
They were placed on foam dots for extra dimensions.
I put 2 photo mats on this. Both are 4 x6 mats and both were embossed with the Swiss dots folder.
The monkey was a svg file I recently found and he just seemed to fit so nicely in this space.

I am really happy with the way this LO turned out. I hope my sister likes it also!

So now that you have seen my project, make sure you head over to the Whimsical Wednesday blog to see the other DT's projects and to link your birthday LO.
Good Luck and thanks for stopping by. Hope you play along with us this week.
Remember you have 2 full weeks to participate :)
