MCT Do Over Thursday~ Happy New Year!

Good Morning everyone and Happy New Year's Eve!
Today is the final day of 2015 and the MCT DT is doing our
"Do Over Thursday" where we remake a past project with some new MCT stamps and dies.
This is the card that I am remaking.....
you can find all the details HERE on how I made this. I LOVE this card but seeing that it is New Years Eve, I thought I would update this one to fit the day :)
Here is my new version of the card....
To make my card I started with a black cardstock A2 size card and layered it with a piece of gold metallic paper and then a white Stitched Rectangular Frame Die piece. Using the Circle Stitching Pattern Die, I added the circles by running it through my big shot.
For my glasses I used an older set that I completely forgot about~Cocktail Party Stitched Dies. I die cut the glasses in a fun glittery black paper and added some gold beverages to the inside...LOL! I wrapped some gold thread to add to the backside of the glasses and then embellished with some gold sequins.
To finish my card off, I stamped my sentiment using the Teeny Tag Holidays stamp set.
Cheers everyone to a wonderful end of 2015 and an awesome 2016!!

So there is my  "Do Over Thursday" card. Make sure to check out more inspiration over on the
Thanks so much for stopping in and  I will see you all in 2016!!

Happy New Year~ MCT Made in Minutes

Good Morning everyone!!!
It is time for another My Creative Time~ Made in Minutes!
With Christmas over for 2015 :(
I thought I would share a quick and easy
New Years shaker card....
To make my card I grabbed a piece of MME~Fancy That designer paper that had the pretty gold "polka dots" already on the page. I thought it looked like confetti and perfect for a New Years card. Since we are ringing in 2016, I grabbed the number dies from the Stitched 4x6 Journal Die and die cut them into the designer paper. Next I stamped the sentiment using the Happy Everything set. Before filling my shaker, I did die cut the banner and stamp the "happy" sentiment using the Chocolate Greetings set and placed that aside until I was ready to assemble my card.  And like I start all of my cards, I did use the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die for the card mat.
Now moving onto the shaker part....I am kinda obsessed with using glitter in my shakers lately! I was able to grab some Christmas gold/silver chunky mix from Michaels on clearance that was perfect for my new years card. It is so fun to add to shakers that have small spaces and moves so freely without getting caught in the sides like sequins can.
To make the shaker part, I used one of the More Stitched Rectangular Dies and lined it up with the numbers so I could die cut it into some Fun Foam. I attached it to the back on the card, after covering the numbers with a piece of acetate. Next I poured some glitter into the rectangular space and then sealed it all up again with another piece of acetate.
My card is all ready to be attached to the kraft cardstock base. One final step~ adding the sentiment banner to the front. I did that by taking the banner and tucking it inside the #2 to then lay across the rest of the numbers.

My card seems like it took longer to make than it actually did...maybe from start to finish 10 minutes??
It is a perfect card to mass produce and is sure to WOW anyone receiving it!

So there is my Made in Minutes card. Make sure to check out more inspiration over on the
Thanks so much for stopping in and have a GREAT Monday!!

Merry Christmas w/Trendy Twine

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!
The Trendy Twine DT has a special Christmas post over on the blog that we would LOVE it if you checked out!
Here is the project I made....a sweet treat perfect for gift giving!
I used one of the Small Pillow Boxes and filled it with some peppermint kisses. Next I wrapped some beautiful designer paper around the center like a belly band. Using the Candy Cane Trendy Twine I wrapped it 3 times around the pillow box and used it to tie on my tag.
For my tag, I used the Biggie Kraft Tag and added a white circle of cardstock where I stamped my sentiment. These are the perfect size for those larger sentiments and look awesome on a package!
A bow of Candy Cane Trendy Twine and my project is complete!

Thanks so much for stopping in today...
Merry Christmas
and please if you have some extra bloggy time stop by the Trendy Twine blog to check out the rest of the DT's projects!!!

With Love on Christmas

Good Morning everyone!!
It is my DT day over on the Trendy Twine blog!
And I am sharing my final Christmas card of 2015.

Before I share my project I just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!It is so hard to believe that another year is almost in the books. It has been an awesome year for me and I hope it has been for you as well!

For my card, I wanted to make a mini shaker using the adorable tree die from MCT. In my travels to Michaels, I was able to pick up some chunky glitter in the Christmas section that I was just dying to use. It was kinda a mess to add to my shaker.....sequins would so much better (you can find them HERE) but the end result I think is very pretty.
After making my shaker and adding my sentiment, I used my featured twine color of the month~ Candy Cane Trendy Twine and made a bow to add to the base of my tree. The perfect extra embellishment to finish off my card!

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

I hope you are all LOVING the new release sneaks!! These sets are just so AWESOME!!!

Today's sneaks from the DT are using the super ADORABLE new release set~
You're a Hit Valentine
*having a baseball player in the house totally makes this one of my new favorite sets*

For my card today, I made a valentine for my valentine...my baseball playing/loving son!
How adorable is that baseball kiddo?? I colored him using my prismacolor pencils and added the stitching to the heart he is holding...placing him aside to put my card together.
I used the new designer paper from DoodleBug Designs~Home Run. I die cut the mat using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die and then for some extra touches, I placed some eyelets in each of the 4 corners.
Next using some matching designer paper, I die cut a circle from the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies which would hold my cutie baseball player.
Some Stars and Stripes Trendy Twine as more embellishing was wrapped around the card base 2 times and tied in a bow.
Finally for the sentiment, I used the die from the Fun Stitched Tag Dies, added the sentiment from the new You're a Hit Valentine set and stamped the stitches 2 more times onto the tag sides. It was then all popped up onto the front of my card.

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas....{Trendy Twine DT}

Good Morning Everyone!
It is my DT day over on the Trendy Twine Blog!
A new month of spotlighted products from Trendy Twine has the DT showcasing the gorgeous Christmas Twine Colors.
Today I am sharing a Christmas treat inspired project using my featured twine color of the month~
These make the best quick and easy gifts..fill with some goodies and embellish and they are ready to give :) For my project I used some Hershey Chocolate Nuggets and wrapped them using the holiday paper from Recollections. I was able to get 10 pieces inside the tin nicely and they are all cushioned in some paper shredding.
For my outside embellishing, I use the matching paper from Recollections to make a belly band. This not only holds the tin in place but allows a place for my sentiment. I wrapped some Candy Cane Trendy Twine around the belly band 2 times and tied it off to the side with a bow. For some extra holiday cheer, I did add some fun silver jingle bells.
My sentiment and die cuts come from My Creative Time~ Belly Band Sentiment Set and Stitched Belly Band Dies

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Welcome to Day 4!!
For my project today I found a super cute 3D  Christmas tree in the Silhouette Store that holds some holiday treats! I cut the pieces out and put the box together using brown cardstock for the base and designer paper from Doodlebug Designs for the green tree.
To embellish my tree I grabbed a few older MCT stamps and dies! The sentiment is from the set "From Our Family to Yours" and fit perfectly on the base of the tree.
To make my ornaments, I used the small circle die from the "Loyal Friends" set and then to die hanger from the "Warm Holiday Fun" set (not revised set). I popped my ornaments up onto the tree and stung them all together using some Totally White Trendy Twine.
Finally my tree wasn't complete without a big bright star! I used one of the "Bunch of Stitched Stars" die and gave it some extra sparkle using my Wink of Stella pen.

I hope you like my project for Day 4!

For all the details make sure you check out the post over at My Creative Time!
Welcome to Day 2!!
Today's projects are some fun stocking stuffers using the adorable mini hand sanitizers from Bath & Body Works. They changed the shape of these from the last time I purchased them so I did a little altering on my holder to fit the new shape.
Project #1 is the holder I made using some simple shapes in the Silhouette studio. I cut all the layers using black cardstock and designer paper from Recollections and attached all the pieces. Placing my hand sanitizer inside the holder and tying it closed with some Totally Red Trendy Twine. For my tag I used the newer released Holiday Tags set. How adorable is that santa die cut??? I just LOVE it!
Project #2 is also one of the new hand sanitizers but this one just has a cute tag. Again I used the Holiday Tags for the candy cane die cut and the circle tag as well as using a slightly larger circle from the Bunch of Fun Circle Die set. My tag was then tied onto the hand sanitizer using some Totally Black Trendy Twine.

I hope you like my project for Day 2!
*tip* for the day...little gifts like these hand sanitizers make awesome stocking stuffers and teacher gifts. Just grab a tag die and a sentiment or image and you can mass produce several tags just to have on hand for those last minute gifts!

Thanks for stopping by and make sure to head on over to the My Creative Time blog HERE to see more holiday gift ideas and projects!!!!
I will be back tomorrow with Day 3!
