Happy Mother's Day.....{MCT Inspire Me Wednesday}

Good Morning and welcome to another
Inspire Me Wednesday with My Creative Time!
My inspiration today came from the recen
Online Card Class~Clear & Sheer
I love watching those talented ladies share tips and tricks with using all kinds of products and this class was no different!
I have always steered away from using velum because I never know how to attach it to my cards without seeing the adhesive behind. For a while I have been using my sewing machine which is great but its always nice to find new ways.
For this card I used my embellishments to hide my adhesive.
I stared my card by heat embossing my sentiment onto the velum diecut.
Next I used the happy die cut from the Happy Everything set and popped it onto the front of my card using foam dots. You cant really see but it is holding part of my velum in place
Next I die cut the flower and was able to hide more of my adhesive behind the velum with the flower popped up in front.
Finally I added some enamel dots which again is holding that velum down.
The cool part about this card is some of the corners are free floating on the velum which gives it some extra detail which I love!

It is SUCH A FUN die & I cannot wait for you to see all the projects the team has created using it!

Here is the card I made using this new die.....

I am loving all things rainbow right now and had this beautiful designer paper that I thought would look awesome as the background to my hello spring shaker card.
I used one of my favorites...the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies for the card mat and the newer More Stitched Edges Dies for the top layer. Then using the new Hello Die I die cut it out for the start of my shaker.
I added a piece of acetate to the back on the white cardstock and then filled my shaker with some pretty silver and gold chunky glitter.
I sealed up the shaker with another piece of acetate and then popped the whole piece up onto the rainbow designer paper.
With the "spring" sentiment stamped onto the white cardstock my card needed just something little to finish it up.
Those adorable new Mini Butterflies was the perfect addition!!

Happy New Year~ MCT Made in Minutes

Good Morning everyone!!!
It is time for another My Creative Time~ Made in Minutes!
With Christmas over for 2015 :(
I thought I would share a quick and easy
New Years shaker card....
To make my card I grabbed a piece of MME~Fancy That designer paper that had the pretty gold "polka dots" already on the page. I thought it looked like confetti and perfect for a New Years card. Since we are ringing in 2016, I grabbed the number dies from the Stitched 4x6 Journal Die and die cut them into the designer paper. Next I stamped the sentiment using the Happy Everything set. Before filling my shaker, I did die cut the banner and stamp the "happy" sentiment using the Chocolate Greetings set and placed that aside until I was ready to assemble my card.  And like I start all of my cards, I did use the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die for the card mat.
Now moving onto the shaker part....I am kinda obsessed with using glitter in my shakers lately! I was able to grab some Christmas gold/silver chunky mix from Michaels on clearance that was perfect for my new years card. It is so fun to add to shakers that have small spaces and moves so freely without getting caught in the sides like sequins can.
To make the shaker part, I used one of the More Stitched Rectangular Dies and lined it up with the numbers so I could die cut it into some Fun Foam. I attached it to the back on the card, after covering the numbers with a piece of acetate. Next I poured some glitter into the rectangular space and then sealed it all up again with another piece of acetate.
My card is all ready to be attached to the kraft cardstock base. One final step~ adding the sentiment banner to the front. I did that by taking the banner and tucking it inside the #2 to then lay across the rest of the numbers.

My card seems like it took longer to make than it actually did...maybe from start to finish 10 minutes??
It is a perfect card to mass produce and is sure to WOW anyone receiving it!

So there is my Made in Minutes card. Make sure to check out more inspiration over on the
Thanks so much for stopping in and have a GREAT Monday!!

MCT Favorite Stamp/Die of the Month~ Let's Celebrate

Good Morning Everyone!!!
What did you think of the AMAZING 47th New Release from My Creative Time?
Hopefully you all were able to take advantage of Miss Emma's sale and pick up the release.

Today is part 2 of  "My FAVORITE stamp/die of the Month!  This month we are featuring the stamp and die set
 "Let's Celebrate"
If this set has been on your wish list, you can pick this set up here at a discount price HERE!
This set will be on sale for the entire month of September! The sale will end on September 30th @ 12:00am PST!
Here is the Halloween card I made using the Lets Celebrate stamp set plus some of the recently releases stamps and dies...can you pick out the newbies????
To make my card I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of black cardstock then using the largest of the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies added a layer of designer paper.
For the focal point of my card I used the newly released Stitched Belly Band Dies for my sentiment. I mixed 2 different stamp sets to make one sentiment....the "it's" and the "party time" are from the Let's Celebrate set and the "halloween" is from the new Happy Everything set. In keeping with the color combo theme of orange, black and white, I added some white gel pen to the "party" sentiment....looks like lights doesn't it?
To finish up my card I added the adorable ghost stamp/die from the Too Cute to Spook set. I just love that cutie face!!!
Some May Arts black ribbon, a black clothes pin and some random enamel dots and this card is completed!
