Wishing you Comfort.....{Whatever Wednesday w/MCT}

Good Morning and welcome to
My Creative Time's~Whatever Wednesday.
This is the DT's day where we can create whatever we want, a card, LO, 3D or altered item using MCT stamps and dies!
My Whatever Wednesday project is unfortunately  a sympathy card that I do need to send out. A friend that my husband grew up with lost his father the other day. It is heartbreaking none the less and I hope this brings some comfort to their family.

I used my Prisma Colored pencils to color the rose. I really need to use them more often as well as watch some more video's on coloring with them. Practice, Practice, Practice~right??? I did add some white pen doodles just for a little highlighting and all in all I think my coloring isn't too bad for  the second time playing with my pencils  :)
Here is a close-up of the sentiment. I love the beautiful lettering, don't you?

I used My Creative Time~ Fun Stitched Edges for the wavy border and the Vintage Stitched Label Die for my banner flag.
A few enamel dots and some White Jute May Arts String from Sparkly Sweet Crafty Notions and my card was done.

Thrifty Thursday Easter Treats....{MCT}

Good morning everyone and welcome to
My Creative Time's Thrifty Thursday.
A day set aside to share any type of project using our scraps/leftovers or recycling items using My Creative Time stamps and dies!

On Monday for my Scrapping The Little Things post, seen HERE, I made an Easter PL page using several MCT stamps and dies as well as the Simple Stories Sn@P paper pad. I had several scraps left over from the paper and used them along with some extra die cuts to make some more Easter treats.
These are by far probably my favorite treats to make and they are PERFECT for using up those scraps. Each of the candies are wrapped using a 1 x 3" piece of designer paper and I placed them on a piece of card stock measuring 2 1/2 x 5" (scored on each side at 1/2")
I added these adorable tags to the top, making them Easter themed of course but they can be made to fit any occasion for sure!

MCT Supplies Used:

Additional Supplies:
Simple Stories SN@P! Basics paper pad
Enamel Dots
Pretzel Candy bags
chocolate nuggets

So what do you think?????
Making projects with all those scraps has never been easier...LOL! Especially with the adorable MCT dies and stamps!

Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what the rest of the DT made!
I know the inspiration is AWESOME!!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT Thursday!!!

Scrapping The Little Things......{MCT}

Good Morning everyone!!
Welcome to "Scrapping the Little Things" with My Creative Time
where we share Project Life, Smash book or Scrapbook LO's using MCT stamps and dies!

Today I have some Project Life cards to share that I made for Easter.
Since I am not a scrapbooker, I have taken a huge liking to these PL pages and find it not only a GREAT way to scrapbook easily, but I can plan ahead (like I did with these card) and all I have to do is some quick journaling and add some pictures.
Here are the cards I made, hope you like them!
I LOVE this Sn@P Paper from Simple Stories and used several of the colored papers for my cards. Mixed with all the My Creative Time dies made these cards very easy to put together.
The Lowercase Fun Dies are my favorite to use for adding lettering to my projects! They are such a great size and leave plenty of room for some journaling and picture :)

I made a shaker in one of the pockets, adding a Stitched Journal Die as my background and filling it with some sequins and die cut eggs from Hello Chickie! Then using my sewing machine, I ran a stitch line to close up the pocket so nothing falls out. Don't you just love that cute bunny??? I just had to add an enamel dot for his tail....LOL!
The frame was adhered to the journal card on 3 sides so when I get my pic of the kids coloring their eggs I can easily slide it in!

Other products used:
Simple Stories SN@P! Basics paper pad
Enamel Dots
sequins, sewing machine

What do you think????
Now all I have to do is add my Easter Pictures!

That is all I have for now....
Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what the rest of the DT made!
I know the inspiration is AWESOME!!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT Monday!!!

You are not going to want to miss a thing!

For my project I wanted to make a menu dry erase board for my kitchen. My kids ask me every day what's for now I can direct them to this fun project!
So adorable right? This was really quite simple to put together once I had all the measurements and the design laid out in the silhouette designer studio. I had this picture frame in my back room just waiting to be altered, it will be easy to change the background paper if the colors in my kitchen ever change :)
I used the adorable PK~1384 Retro-bet Round letters for all the wording and colored each one in with my copic markers. Then for the shake and burger I used the new PKSC~28 April 2014 SOTM those also were colored with my copics
Here is a closeup of the cute burger. Don't you just love his face??? I added some white pen dots to the bun and some light chalk to his cheeks and OMG I just think he is too cute!
And here is the cutie shake! She too was colored with my copics and it is really hard to tell but her top is also colored with my Wink of Stella pen for some added sparkle.
Finally after the days of the weeks were adhered down to the background paper and the burger and shake were popped up on top of the panels, I embellished a bit more by adding some enamel dots.
The glass went on the paper, the frame was completed and now it is ready for my dry erase marker and the weekly menu!

So what do you think?? I hope you have enjoyed my project!!!
Thanks so much for joining us today and we all
hope you have enjoyed the hop!
Have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!

PKS April New Release Sneak Day 3

~if you are looking for my Trendy Twine giveaway please click HERE~

Well, are we havin’ fun yet?
Welcome back to Day #3 of Sneak Peeks!
You've seen some amazing stamps and inspirational samples so far, and we’re back tonight to bring you even more peachy goodness! Peachy Keen Stamps is well known in the paper crafting community for their adorable face stamps, which have so many wonderful and creative uses. This evening, we want to show off our newest set of face stamps, along with one more background stamp for this release.
We are tickled pink to introduce you to
Cartoon Bombshell Faces and Polka Dot Background stamps!!!!!!

For my card today I found this adorable jukebox from Designs on Cloud 9~ Fab Fifties and came up with this fun card!
I used the Checkerboard Background that was showcased yesterday for my card mat and the adorable new Cartoon Bombshell Faces for the jukebox. I added some white gel pen doodles to her face as well as some chalk to her cheeks. OMG is this not one CUTE face???
The sentiment is from an older PKS set~Spring Loaded that I thought was perfect for my card. I stamped it on a die cut banner from My Creative Time~Just Simply Live set and added some enamel dots to either side.
To finish my card off, I added some machine stitching to the border and more enamel dots to each of the corners.

If today is the first day you've joined the fun of the Fabulous 50′s, be sure to visit  the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog  because one lucky person who comments on our blog and or designer posts will win the stamp sets we’re showing off tonight.  We don’t know which blog the winner will be selected from, so for the best chance to win, comment on all of ‘em!
We’ll  be back tomorrow evening at the same time for the final night of sneak peeks and THEN on Saturday we’ll meet ya here for the HOP!  6:00 p.m. CDT… Be here, or be square!!
