So I will just have to create another to enter into that challenge.

The sentiment is from My Creative Time~ 100% Sweetness
I used Kraft Card stock for the base

EAD Designs Blog Hop!

Good Morning everyone!
It is Monday and time for another
EAD Designs Blog Hop!
~this is my last one as a Guest Designer....next week will be my first as a new DT Member and we welcome February's Guest Designer Lauren!!

Now you should be coming from the very talented
Amy...... wasn't her project awesome?!?!?

For my project today I have a very simple home storage/DIY idea using the
Chalk-it Tags

If you are like me and the thousands of Pinterest followers out there
We are pinning away new ideas for just about everything....home decor, crafts, recipes and the list goes on and on.

Well I came across this DIY dishwasher soap recipe and thought I would give it a try.
You can find the original post here

But the recipe is so simple....
2 cups of Borax
2 cups of Baking Soda
4 small packets of sugar free lemonade Kool-Aid
and
White Vinegar

I gave it a try and let me tell you we will never go back to store bought dish washing detergent!!
My dishes are super clean and my glasses sparkle!
So of course I needed a container to put my new detergent in....
I found this glass jar at Walmart for under $4.00
And since I LOVE it so much....
EAD Designs Chalk-It Tags were the PERFECT
label for my jar!!!

Now I know my jar is not all fancy and such but it sits under my cabinet and we are the only ones who see it.....
But if I happen to leave it out...
Doesn't it look awesome with that Label??????

So I think you should all go pick some up....
They are this weeks
Sassy Steals over at
there is no excuse..it's a steal and they come with 18 different tags!
Think of all the labeling you could do...LOL!!

Now hop along over to the very talented
but make sure to leave comments along the way (we love the love)
but especially over at EAD Designs to enter to win some yummy EAD Designs
goodies of your own!

Thanks for stopping by!

SuperBowl Party Invite

Hi everyone!
As you know I have been busy making Superbowl treats for our upcoming Staff Appreciation Luncheon next week.
Well good news....I had 80 to make
17 are totally completed and I have 34 almost done
I was on a roll yesterday.....cutting, cutting, cutting, inking, gluing and more cutting :)
Now I don't feel like I wont get them all done!

But another one of my projects for this upcoming luncheon was the invite that gets posted in the Teachers Lounge.
I am happy to say it is completed and hung!!
What do you think?
I used DCWV The Athletics Stack for the base
Dark Chocolate and Stampers White PTI card stock
and
Kraft card stock
for the mats
Cuttin' Up cartridge for the letters~ those all cut at 1.5"
Sports Mania for the Football~cut at 3"
(I did  add some white floss for the laces....love the way this turned out!!)

Those helmets are also from the Sports Mania Cartridge~cut at 3"
I found the Patriots Logo as a SVG cut
and the Giants Logo was one I traced into an SVG
both then cut using SCAL

My banner is from MCT~ Build a Banner Set and I also used
Cuttin' Up for the Roman Numbers

Of course I added some white gel pen doodles
Charcoal Twinery Twine
Foam Dots
and my computer generated invite wording.

Now off to make some more treats!!
Thanks for stopping by and see you all later!

Sending You Butterfly Hugs~ The Cutting Cafe Way!

Good Morning everyone!!!
This week Regina over at The Cutting Cafe asked the DT to showcase either
or

For my project I used a Glassine Bag I picked up at my local scrap booking store and came up with this.....
I took the adorable butterfly background and printed it to attach to the bag, both on the front and back
Cut the butterfly image out using Designer Paper and white card stock and  paper pieced it.
I colored the inside of the butterfly with my copics
Added some stickles!!  LOVE the bling!
I wanted to add some stick pins so after digging through my HUGE container of beads I found the perfect ones to use as the antenna.
They are stuck through the foam pop dots so there should be no injury with these :)
The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam in Cherry Lipstick
For the back of my bag I used the sentiment from the same set, my EK Sucess punch and some bling
I thought this would make a super cute Lunch Box note, a 3 x 3 card would fit perfectly in this or maybe it will be sent to one of my crafty pen pals!

Make sure you head over to The Cutting Cafe
later this afternoon to check out the rest of the DT's projects. Also comment to win some sets of your own!

Just an FYI also~ Regina has the BEST Cyber Monday sales!!
HUGE files of adorable images and cut files for awesome prices!
I always post a reminder on FB
and you can also subscribe to The Cutting Cafe's email for details as well!!
Thanks for stopping by!

Heart Tic Tac Box~ The Cutting Cafe

Good Morning everyone!!
Another week closer to Valentine's Day and I have a super easy and super adorable DT project to share using
For my box
I used Bo Bunny Designer Paper from A Gift of Love line
SCAL and my Cricut
Twine in Maraschino from The Twinery
and
Brown Twine from my stash.

The file comes with 4 sentiments and a border also but I chose to use
for my sentiment.
I printed the sentiment out on my printer and used a heart punch to cut it out.
I also punched a piece of chipboard using the same punch to make a more sturdy tag.
Colored the heart in with my R29 copic and added some glossy accents to the heart and outlined the wording using my new Clear Star Gelly roll pen~ OMG I love this pen!
It adds sparkle right where you want it :)

You will want to check out the rest of the DT's projects later today because....we are all featuring projects from either
the
or the

Plus if you leave some love all around you can be entered to win some of your own files from

Are You Ready For Some Football? MCT and PKS Style

Good Morning everyone!

It is that time of year again...
PTO planning for the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon that I co-chair with another friend.
Every year we ask the parents to donate a dish for this luncheon and I have to say that the teacher's look forward to this PTO sponsored event the most.
If you remember or followed me last year at this time I made Post-it Notes for all the Teachers
This year we are having a Superbowl Themed luncheon and this is what I am making
Cute candy bags featuring a Superbowl favorite treat M&M's!!
I used the Sports Mania cartridge for the football
Distress ink in Gathered Twigs for the edges
PKS-531~ Simple Sallies Face Assortment for the face
My Creative Time~Many Greetings for the sentiment
and
DCWV The Athletic Stack for the pattern paper.

So I have 4 done and only 77 more to do..LOL!
What do you think?
Teacher's will like them?
I think so :)

EAD Designs Blog Hop!

Good Morning Everyone!!
It is time for another EAD Designs Blog Hop!!!
Hopefully you have come from Amy's ....
but don't forget to stop at all the designers blogs  along the way starting at EAD Designs for tons of inspiration....you will want to leave comments along the way and for sure over at EAD Designs for a chance to win some goodies!!

I am super excited about today's project!!!!
I made some embellishments and magnets using the
Love Block Valentines

What started out as this......wooden hearts I picked up at Joanne's

Were turned into these......
Are they not the cutest EVER!!!!

So I took the wooden hearts and covered the front sides with white card stock using my Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive
Then I took one of the square stickerz and adhered it over the white card stock....trimmed the extra stickerz and using my file to smooth the edges.
Such a quick and very easy project!!

To make the magnets
I used these magnetic sheets I found at Walmart and my heart paper punch from Fiskars.
The magnetic sheets are pretty thin so cutting them with the punch was very easy
Yes I know the heart punch is a funky heart but look at how great they fit on the back
And considering they are the back side a perfect shape is not necessary :)

Now I only used 6 of them as magnets...the rest I plan on using as embellishments for future projects
Like this Valentine's Day card
DP is from my stash
EAD Designs heart embellishment
3 Girl Jam crinkle ribbon in Baby Girl
My Creative Time~Curly Label Die
My Creative Time~100% Sweetness Stamp
bling on a roll from Recollection
Tim Holtz Distress Ink~ Victorial Velvet
Scalloped border punch from Ek Success

Now time to leave me and hop on over to Jenn's
Thanks for stopping by :)

Happy Birthday~ The Cutting Cafe DT Day~ Winner!!

Good Morning everyone!!
Today I am sharing my project for The Cutting Cafe and along with the rest of
the DT we are showcasing the Long Sentiment Tags file.
What a GREAT bunch of tags....
perfect for all your cards or LO pages.

~~But before I share my project I want to announce to winner of my blog candy from the Love Bugs Banners for Kids Hop~~
Using Random.org the lucky winner is.....
JUDY!!!
Congrats Judy...please email me at
eschfamily@yahoo.com with your mailing address and I will get your ribbon right out!

Now on with the show....LOL!!
For my project I used the Birthday Tag from the set and made a masculine birthday card.
I have to say I really LOVE the way this turned out!
What do you think?

So in addition to the Long Sentiment Tag file
I also used the Fun With Pockets file......
another packed file full of 14 different pockets!
I re sized my tag to 2 1/2" x  4 1/2" and printed it out on white card stock.
I colored all the wording using my copics in colors matching the DP.
I did add some white gel pen doodles to the wording because....well I have a hard time not using my gel pen :)
The DP is from Simple Stories..another fun birthday print
and it was layered on white card stock all on a Kraft Card base
The balloons were cut from the Simply Charmed Cartridge at 2 1/2".
I used foam dots to give some dimension to the red balloon and again added my gel pen doodles.
The ribbon is from American Crafts...one that I love but can not seem to find any more :(
Here is the inside of the card along with the whole tag.
I am making it another goal of mine to complete the inside of my cards as well...that way they are 100% ready to be used!
Some additional items used for this card include:
Distress ink in Gathered Twigs
eyelets
white ribbon from my stash
and
"X" stamp from Stampendous (Typewriter Alphabet)

Now for even more inspiration and to be entered to win some of your own files from The Cutting Cafe

Sending Warm Thoughts~ Challenge Card Entry

Good Morning Everyone!

I wanted to share a card I made to enter for the Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge.
This is the first time entering for me and I am always so in awe of the creativity and all around talent that gets displayed over there!!
I only own 1 stamp set from Paper Smooches~ The Sentiment Sampler
and a few of the freebie digi's that have come out but really hope to add to my stamp collection this year!
I love the adorable images and fun sentiments!!

Anyways here is the card I made.
It is a very simple card actually....I used rainbow color eyelets and adhered them to a piece of PTI Stampers Select White card stock.
The freebie Sun was printed on DP from my stash and
I used foam dots to attach the sun after cutting out the image.
The sentiment was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
and the whole piece then adhered to my card base~ a standard A2 size.

I really LOVE the CAS~ness of this card and hope you do also :)
Thanks for letting me share my card today!
I know I probably don't stand a chance as one of this weeks winner over at Paper Smooches but hey you never know right....and I will never know if I don't enter a challenge!!

For my project today I wanted to showcase the adorable
"With a Cherry On Top" stickerz set
With a Cherry on Top

and this is what I came up with
My card is a A2 size and all my card stock is from PTI
I ran the dark chocolate card stock base through my cuttle bug using the Distressed Stripes folder.
I used SCAL and a freebie scalloped circle cut for the base of that adorable Cherry Tree.
Not sure if the picture shows it but I added alittle bit of white gel pen doodles along with some stickles in green and Christmas red for extra sparkle.
The sentiment...also part of the stickerz was colored in using my R29 copic then stickled up as well.
The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam in Mistletoe
and I tied it all together using Cappuccino Twinery and a small red bell (I thought the bell looked like a cherry)

Thanks for checking out my card and leaving me such sweet comments!
