My Creative Time 30th New Release Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the
My Creative Time 30th Release Blog Hop!!!!!

I hope you have enjoyed all week of sneak peeks and the awesome projects the entire DT have shared! This is such a FAB release and we have one more day of inspiration to share!

The hop starts with
Emma over at My Creative Time
so if you are just stopping by make sure to head on over to the start so you don't miss a thing!
If you are coming from
Candace's Blog
you are right on track :) I will list the entire hop line-up down below so you don't miss a thing!

For my hop project I used the new Stitched Chevy Dies along with a few other MCT stamps and dies to make this CAS card.
I hope you like it :)
Ok so these Stitched Chevy Dies totally ROCK! They have the stitching on both the outside of the dies as well as the die cut pieces.. so loving that Emma is adding that to her dies now :)
So for my card I wanted the dies to be my background. I used the same die..the smaller of the 4 and lined it up along the side. Since I could only die cut one at a time, I could make sure they lined up one on top of another.
I also wanted some to face down and the others to face up...meeting in the center where my sentiment would be.
I used the adorable light bulb from the You're Brilliant Stamp Set and pattern paper from my stash. I did add some stickles to the center....to make it sparkle a bit more :)
Then for the sentiment I used one of my favorite dies...the banner from the Vintage Stitched Label Die. I die cut 2 of them...one in white card stock and the other in the black. I layered them slightly off so you could see the black behind the white and stamped the sentiment from the new Bracket Sentiments stamp set.

My Creative Time Sneak Peek Day 4

Good Morning
and
Welcome to Day 4 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 30th Release!

This is the final day before the New Release Blog Hop!!!!!!

For the final sneak we are sharing projects using the "Fun Gift Pocket Sentiments" and the "Tag Gift Card Pocket Die"

I made 2 different tags showcasing these sets. Hope you like them!!!
The first one is a birthday gift tag....I made this for my son who is officially a teenager today.
Yikes......LOL!
Happy Birthday Casey!!!
For my tag I used the Tag Dies and all designer paper from Echo Park~That's My Boy paper pack. I did add a white cardstock base to my tag to give it a little more stability (remember this is for a boy...LOL)
I added 2 die cut balloons from the Stitched Party Dies set and popped them up on my tag for some extra dimension. Plus it does not interfere at all with sliding a gift card in and out of the new Tag Gift Card Pocket Die!
That super awesome sentiment is one of many perfect sentiments in the new Fun Gift Pocket Sentiments.
Finally I added some Jute String to my balloons (Sparkly Sweet Craft Notions) and some light blue May Arts Ribbon stapled to the top.

My next tag is perfect for giving a little gift for St. Patrick's Day.
I used the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die as the base for my tag and then attached the new
Tag Gift Card Pocket Die stamped with a sentiment from the I'm a Lucky Girl Stamp set that way sneaked the other day :)
Since I wanted to keep my tag on the simpler side, I just added a 4 leaf clover die cut from the You're My Pot of Gold Set and glittered it up with some Lime Green Stickles.
To finish the tag off, I added some matching green tulle to the top and it is ready to give.

My Creative Time Sneak Peek Day 3

Good Morning
and
Welcome to Day 3 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 30th Release!

Aren't you all just LOVING these sneaks??? Just wait...there is so much more to come!!!!
Today we will be sneaking the "Hello Chickie"  and the "Stitched Grass Die"
I am so excited about this set....both of them and know you will HAVE to have these
~along with the whole release of course..LOL~
Anyways for my project today I made a cute Easter Treat that I am totally LOVING!
Check it out.....
Didn't this turn out adorable!! I am thinking maybe this will be my son's Easter class treat...what do you think???
I made this fun treat by using the Stitched Lollipop Holder Die for the base, and the Scallop and Stitched Circle Die for the sentiment. The actual sentiment comes from an older MCT stamp set~Happy Hunting but I added one of the new stitched egg dies to the center.
Then for the bottom of the Lollipop Holder, I added 2 layers of the new Stitched Grass Die, placing the die cut Easter Basket from the Hello Chickie! set in between the layers and filling it with some more die cut eggs.
When looking for a treat to place inside, I found this rock candy stick that was perfect...yes alittle taller but I think it works GREAT!
I pulled it out of the original packaging and added it to a Medium Candy Bag  from the Trendy Twine shop. I did cut the bag down slightly, removing the tape strip closure so I could tie it off using some Totally White Trendy Twine.

My Creative Time Sneak Peek Day 2

Good Morning
and
Welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 30th Release!

What did you think of Day 1?? Pretty AWESOME projects right???

Well today we will be sneaking the "I'm a lucky Girl" set!
I used the sketch from the Deconstructed Sketch

and made this card.......
I just love this sentiment and I used it as my focal point for my card.
All the designer papers came from Echo Park~This & That paper pack, I thought they were perfect for my card...don't you??
I used several dies from My Creative Time to put this card together.
First I used the bottom half of the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die and layered a strip of matching designer paper over top. For the banner pieces, I used the bottom half of the Arrow found in the 4x4 Jounal Die + More set
The sentiment was stamped on a 2" circle and I embellished my card further by adding some White Jute String from Sparkly Sweet Craft Notions and a die cut clover that comes with the new "I'm a Lucky Girl" set.

My Creative Time Sneak Peek Day 1

Good Morning
and
Welcome to Day 1 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 30th Release!

This release is AWESOME (as are all of Emma's!!) so sit back and enjoy all the sneaks coming from the DT all week and then make sure to join us on Friday for the Release Blog Hop!

Today we will be sneaking the "Bracket Sentiments" the "Bracket Dies" AND the "Chevy Dies"!

I made this card for my husband who is traveling for work....I hid it in his suitcase for when he gets to the hotel :) Hope he likes it!
For my card I used the new arrow stamp and sentiment from the Bracket Sentiment set. OOHHH I love all the awesome sentiments this set comes with!!!
My card measures 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 and I added the 4x4 Journal Die as my card mat. I totally scrap-lifted this idea from several of the MCT DT girls :) I just LOVE this card size and I think it is my new favorite (so sorry if you see this SEVERAL more times)
The heart was cut out of felt using the die from the 100% Sweetness Stamp set and positioned between the arrow stamp. Don't you just LOVE that???
To finish my card off I added some matching red sequins, my sentiment and another 4x4 journal die mat inside so I could write my message.

Thank You.......{MCT Challenge}

Morning!
It is time for another My Creative Time Challenge!!!

Ready for this one??
It's an ABC Challenge
For this challenge, you are to pick any letter of the alphabet and base your project on that letter.
For example, if you choose the letter "B" you would use as many "B" items as you can.....buttons, bows, the color blue and incorporate your My Creative Time stamps and dies into your project.

Well I did not use the letter "B", instead I went with the letter "T" and made this.....
So you want to know what "T" items I used?? Can you pick them out??
You know I was going to tell you anyways.....LOL
~I made a Triangle box using the tutorial I followed HERE
~My designer paper from Echo Park is Teal colored.
~I closed my triangle box with Tickled in Teal Trendy Twine
~My Thank you sentiment from Floral Sentiments is stamped on the circle die cut from the Surprise Pop Out Card Die
~I finished my project off by embellishing it with some Teal enamel dots after filling it with some sweet Treats
So what do you think?????
Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what the rest of the DT made!
I know the inspiration is AWESOME!!!!

Blessings for the New Baby......{Seize the Sketch #14}

Good Morning Everyone!
It is time for another Seize The Sketch Challenge.

Here is the new challenge sketch.....
Hosted this week by the very talented Amy

And here is the baby card I made based on the sketch!
For my card I used the adorable Peachy Keen Stamps~Over the Moon stamp set. I colored that CUTE cow using my copic markers and then cut the image out, placing it aside while I put the rest of my card together.
Since I LOVE my sewing machine so much, I added alot of stitching to my card. First to the card mat and the through the center mat where the white/pattern paper meets.
All the designer paper for my card is from DCWV~The Boyhood Stack and the Kraft, cream and white cardstock are all from my stash.
After all my pieces were sewn and attached to my card base, I further embellished my card by stamping some additional stars from the same stamp set, this to match the embossed white cardstock as well as the embossed "moon".
The sentiment was added to a die cut Vintage Label Die from My Creative Time stamped on a scrap of Kraft cardstock.
To finish my card~ and not really visible in the picture~ I colored the stars using my Wink of Stella pen as well as adding some to the embossed white stars too. This really adds some fun twinkle to them :)

So what do you think???
I hope you like my card and will play along with the new challenge!
Make sure to head on over to the Seize The Sketch blog to see what the other DT members created with this sketch and for all the details on how you can play along.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT day!!

Face Day~ Garden Markers......{Peachy Keen Stamps}

Good Morning Everyone!
I am VERY excited about today's post!
It is my turn to share a "Face Day" project over on the Peachy Keen Stamps blog and boy do I have a CUTE project to share (if I must say so myself..LOL)

With the weather being SO cold and snowy here, I wanted to start thinking warmer thoughts, and one of my favorite times of the year is Spring Time....
because I get to plant my garden!
I LOVE going out there to pick my fresh veggies, and my boys will frequent the garden for a quick snack while running through the yard. A tomato here and there, a handful of sugar snap peas or a pepper~yes my oldest will eat a pepper like an apple.

So my project for today is some garden markers, which I can not wait to post by the plants.
I have several pictures to share, and if you want to see them closer, you can always click on the images.

So here we go....
I started by making 9 markers, and will add a few more over the next few weeks.
Each of the image are from SVG Cutting Files~ Kawaii Veggies. I pulled them into the Silhouette Designer Studio, sized them to fit the the base and erased the faces so I could stamp my Peachies on each of them.
Here are the 4 pepper markers. Each one was stamped with a different Peachy Keen Kawaii Face stamp. I used the Stitched Journal Die from My Creative Time as my base cutting them out using an assortment of polka dot papers from my stash. For the names, I die cut some banners from the Just Simply Live set and used the letters also from that set to spell out what each veggie is.
To add dimension to each of the veggies, I did use my white gel pen and some chalk for their faces. Before putting each of the pieces together, I inked the edges using Tim Holtz Distress inks.
To finish each of my markers off, I laminated them so hopefully they will last for many planting seasons. I hot glued some wood stakes to the backs and they are now ready to be placed in my garden!
So what do you think of my project????

Supplies Used:
Peachy Keen Stamps~ Kawaii Faces 1 1/8"
Peachy Keen Stamps~ Kawaii Face Assortment
My Creative Time~Just Simply Live w/Die
My Creative Time~ Stitched Journal Die
Assorted Polka Dot Pattern Paper
chalk, white gel pen, copics
laminator

I appreciate you stopping by to check out my project!!
Hoping that you too will make some of these fun and totally adorable garden markers!!

~~Don't forget there is the current Peachy Keen Stamps Photo/Color Inspiration challenge going on now. You can find all the details HERE.

~~ And the February Linky Party going on HERE. We want to see all those projects using the new February 2014 release!

AWESOME prizes awarded for both challenges!

Have a GREAT Monday everyone!!!
