February New Release Sneaks Day 1....{Peachy Keen Stamps}

For the new Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge, click here for my projects!

Hello friends and welcome to the first day of sneak peeks of the
February Release at Peachy Keen Stamps!

It’s an exciting time for us as we've recently introduced you to our 2014 Creative Team,  and this is the first release they get to share with you!   They have been busy, busy, busy creating some phenomenal samples to share with you and we couldn't be more thrilled or excited to get started!

The February Stamp Of The Month Kit, which we’re featuring today will have you lost in the warmth of these charming images.  Send some sunshine, brighten someone’s day, and feature a little taste of Summer in your creations.  This set has all of that and so much more!!

We have changed things up a bit, and we invite you join us each day (the 1st through the 4th) for sneak peeks of our February Release.  Posts go live early,  at 5:00 a.m. CST, so you can start your day with a smile, and it all leads up to our Blog Hop on the 5th.

Now, it wouldn't be sneak peek week without a prize, right?

Leave a comment on all the sneak peek posts on the PKS blog and the Designer’s Blogs this week for a chance to win THE ENTIRE RELEASE!  That’s right – one lucky guy or gal will win all 8 sets in this release!  You have through 2/4 at 11:59 pm CST to comment on all posts. Winner will be announced on our blog hop post on 2/5.  If you’re just popping in, be sure to stop by the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog so you don’t miss anything!

I have 2 cards to share that I made with the new February SOTM
This set is packed with super CUTE images and faces.....SO LOVE them!

Here is my first card....Such a sweet thinking of you card. Hope you like it.
 When I saw this sentiment I knew I wanted to make something that had a map connecting the 2 adorable new Kawaii bears. I found the map in the Silhouette store and cut it to fit the front of my card. Using the February SOTM, I stamped the images and colored them using my copic markers. I added some chalk to their cheeks and some white gel pen doodles and cut them out. Setting them aside, I put the card together by bringing out my sewing machine. I die cut some My Creative Time hearts from the 4x4 Journal Die + More set and then stitched a line from one heart to the next. I also added a stitched border to my card and glued the Peachy Keen images to their respective spots :) I think this is such a sweet card to let that someone special know you are thinking of them.

For my next card, I wanted to keep it CAS using only the tree image from the new set.
I couldn't help but use my sewing machine again to add the decorative stitching to the rolling hills and frame. I stamped the tree image onto white cardstock and then colored it using my copics. I fussy cut it out and then stamped one of the smaller faces that fit perfectly into the tree's leaves. The tree was then popped up using some foam squares for some more dimension.
Here is a close-up of the tree....so cute right... and the matching sentiment.
