Happy 5 Sukie & Helen...{Trendy Twine Guest Designer}

Good Morning everyone!
I am popping in with a special Guest Designer spot over on the
Trendy Twine blog as the DT celebrates 2 special DT members
Sukie & Helen!
They have both been on the Trendy Twine DT for the past 5 years and in recognition of their talents with sharing awesome projects for the past 5 years, the DT made some special cards for them.
Take a look at the cards I made using one of my favorite go to twines~ Totally White
To make my cards, I used kraft cardstock bases, layered some white cardstock and then picked some fun pattern paper that I new would match with the design of my cards.
For the star card, I cut the star Pinwheel Center dies from MCT  in rainbow scrap cardstock and then threaded the twine through each of the holes. A simple bow was then tied onto the top through the red star.
The sentiment was die cut using the Tag Die Layers and for a fun added touch I left the sentiment with the negative which was then popped up onto the front of the card.
The heart card was made exactly like the star card with the only difference being the sentiment and designer paper.

Congrats to Sukie and Helen on 5 years of Trendy Twine service!! Your designs are awesome and I sure hope you like your cards ladies!!!
Make sure to check out the Trendy Twine blog for more celebration cards from the DT!

A special thanks to Lesley for asking me to be a part of this Happy 5 for Sukie and Helen!
Have a GREAT Friday and weekend!!
Hugs!

4 U Teacher.....{MCT Anything Goes!}

Good Morning everyone!
I am sharing a project today for My Creative Time's
Anything Goes Thursday!

School is starting for many next month so for my project today I used the newly released Stitched Square Box Die to make an adorable teacher gift.
How adorable is this??
To make my treat box, I started by die cutting the square box using white cardstock. Once both of the parts were cut, I used the Get Schooled stamp set and inked up (Tim Holtz Salty Ocean & Candied Apple) the white cardstock to look like lined paper.
That cute apple comes from the Love to Learn set, and each part was die cut using scrap cardstock. The apple was then popped up onto the front of the box.
The sentiment, from Chocolate Greetings was stamped onto the box next.
After everything was on the box, I assembled it up and tied a green ribbon to the top.

This was so simple to make and would be so fun to hand out on the first day of school.

Want to see more projects?
Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what the rest of the DT made!
I know the inspiration is AWESOME!!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT day!!

To make my tag, I die cut the scalloped flip flop base using white cardstock and then layered the stitched flip flop die using some pretty designer paper from Fancy Pants~Wonderful Day.
The Cute Bow was added with a tiny brad to the top of the flip flop and popped up onto the scalloped base.
For the sentiment, I used another new release~ the Scalloped Stitched Rectangular Dies. I die cut the smallest rectangular die in white cardstock, stamped my sentiment from the Surf's Up set and then layered it onto a scalloped rectangular die. The entire sentiment was then popped up onto the Big Stitched Flip Flop Die
To finish my project, I punched a small hole onto the top of the tag, added it to my gift bag handle using some Trendy Twine.

Good Morning and welcome back to
Day 2 of sneaks for the
MCT 69th New Release!!!
Wasn't yesterdays sneaks just AMAZING???

Well today we have another Die set to showcase.
Stitched Square Box Die
and here is the fun project I made using this set.....
Calling all gamers...how fun is this dice inspired treat box? Wouldn't it make a great party favor for game night?
This new Stitched Square Box Die makes party favors like this so easy to make! All I did for this was die cut the box using white card stock. I put the 2 pieces together but before I set it all up, I used the little circle die from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Die for the dice dots, arranging them just like a real die.
For the sentiment, I used the set~ Scalloped Stitched Rectangular Dies from yesterdays sneak and the sentiment from Some Days Simply Require..
I tied the sentiment on with some Totally White and Totally Black Trendy Twine.

week of sneaks with
My Creative Time!

So lets get started!!

Today we are showcasing the new die set~
Scalloped Stitched Rectangular Dies
and here is the card I made using this set.....

It's Christmas in July so I wanted to share my 1st Christmas card of the season using several sizes of the new dies.
To start with, I used the largest of the Scalloped Stitched Rectangular Die for my card base. It was cut using kraft cardstock and then another top layer using designer paper from Echo Park~I Love Winter paper pack.
I layered the next size smaller in white cardstock and then another size smaller of the scalloped rectangular die using the matching designer paper.
I love those adorable Santa Suit dies! The pieces were cut using some pattern paper and white cardstock then popped up onto the front scalloped rectangular die.
The sentiment, from the set Inside Christmas Cards was stamped onto yet another smaller rectangular die.
The finishing touch for this card some from a simple Trendy Twine bow in Peppermint Icicle.

Get Whale Soon....{MCT Thoughtful Thursday}

Good Morning everyone!
I hope you are all having a GREAT week so far!!!

It's Thursday  which means time for another

For my card today, I made a get well card using the revised set~ Get Whale Soon
Take a look and let me know what you think.....

To make my card, I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and then die cut a piece of designer paper from Lawn Fawn using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die
I added some waves using the die from the set~ You're a Great Catch which I layered under that pretty navy ribbon.
The frame that the adorable whale is sitting on is from the  set~ Scalloped Stitched Square Dies. The whale was popped up onto the frame and the water spout was then stamped onto the square mat.
The sentiment which is also from the set Get Whale Soon was stamped onto the Fun Stitched Tag Die
Finishing touches to my card were some matching enamel dots.

Just for You......{MCT 3D Wednesday}

Good morning everyone!
I hope you all had a great 4th of July! I am currently at the beach on vacation so I scheduled this ahead of our trip.
I know we are having an AWESOME time because.. well we are on vacation, we are camping and we are at the beach!!!

I am sharing a 3D today for
My Creative Time's
"3D Wednesday"
This is where we share 3D projects, treat holders, gift cards, favors~ anything other than a card..
For this project I made a small treat holder using last releases set~ PinWheel Centers & the Small Stitched Pinwheel Die
Take a look and let me know what you think....
One of my favorite 3D holders from MCT is the Treat Holder Die
The possibilities are endless when it comes to decorating and filling these adorable containers. For this project I used some fun printed designer paper from Doodlebug Designs and die cut the treat holder. Next I stamped the sentiment~ from Just a Note onto the front of the holder.
I filled a little bag with some baseball gum balls and then closed it up with some Trendy Twine.
To finish off my project, I die cut the Small Stitched Pinwheel along with the star center from the Pinwheel Centers and attached it with a brad to the top of my treat bag.
A sweet treat just for you!!
