Merry Christmas...{MCT Gift Card Giving}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to 

My Creative Time's Gift Card Giving post!

Today we are showcasing Gift Card projects using of course MCT stamps and dies!

Take a look at my project and let me know what you think...

For my project today I used the Christmas tree from the Gift Card Tag Dies to add to the  front of the Fancy Gift Card Holder Die. 

I started with a kraft base and added the layer of designer paper, also cut using the Fancy Gift Card Holder Die.

For the Christmas tree I used green cardstock from my stash and popped the tree up onto the front of the gift card holder.

The "to" and "from" are from the Gift Card Greetings set and were stamped onto the top of the holder.

The other sentiment, from the Gift Card Greetings set was stamped onto the banner also from the same set and added to the bottom of the gift card.

A green and red twine bow completed my gift card holder.

MCT 114th New Release Sneak Day 4

Good morning everyone and welcome to Day 4 of sneaks for the 114th New Release from My Creative Time!

We have hoped you are loving everything so far and have one more AWESOME set to share

Introducing the adorable....

 Fun Snowflake Die

Take a look at my project and let me know what you think...

For my project today I made another tag mini card using the new Fun snowflake Die. 

I started my die cutting the base of the snowflake in kraft cardstock to make my mini card base.

I used some pretty designer paper to layer onto the top of the card base and then added the layers of the snowflake with some matching blue and gray cardstock.

For the sentiment, I used the Layer Banner Dies and a sentiment from the soon to be released Holiday Banner Sentiments which I then popped up onto the front of the snowflake.

Some enamel dots in matching colors to the designer paper embellished my project along with a small hole punched into the top where I added some twine.

A cute holiday tag/ card ready to add to any holiday gift.

MCT 106th New Release Sneak Day 2

Good morning everyone and welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the 

106th New Release from My Creative Time!

Today the DT is showcasing another GREAT die sets that again you are going to LOVE!!!

Introducing the

Tall Fancy Frame Dies  

Take a look at my inspiration and let me know what you think.. 

For my project today I made a shaker card.

I used the Tall Frame Die and Tall Frame Die Layer for the base of my card and the top layer. To make my shaker window, I used the new Tall Fancy Frame Dies which fit perfectly inside my base layer.

Once the frame for my shaker was all die cut, I added an acetate window, filled the shaker with beads and stars and added the back piece of white cardstock to hold everything in place.

Before adding the white backing, I did stamp the sentiment from the Belly Band set as well as added some trees from the Christmas Tree Tag Die.

A few stars from the Star Rosette Die completed my holiday shaker

For my inspiration I made a Santa sweet treat! 

I used the adorable Santa Hat Topper, die cut in red and white cardstock. I stamped the "happy holidays" sentiment onto the hat using the new Gift Card Greetings. Next using the Star Rosette Die, I cut the circle in white cardstock to use as a tag and the star in green cardstock to add to the Santa hat.

With some Christmas twine I added the tag to the bottom of my hat topper. I also stamped the tag with the "to" and "from" on the front and back of the tag.

Finally I filled a treat bag with some peppermint kisses and added the topper to the treats.

A sweet treat for that someone special!

MCT 105th New Release Sneak Day 4

Good morning everyone and welcome to Day 4 of sneaks for the 105th New Release from My Creative Time!

Today the DT is showcasing 2 new die sets that again you are going to LOVE!!!

So how awesome is that new Shopping Bag Die? 

To make my project I used some polka dot pattern paper and die cut the Shopping Bag Die.

Then using the new Ho Ho Ho die, I cut the die 2 times, once in green cardstock and another in white cardstock so I could layer the snowflake in white. I did add some sparkle to the snowflake for some extra detail.

Next I used an older (and I'm sorry but NO LONGER AVAILABLE Santa Hat die) to pop up onto the bag.

Instead of leaving my bag open like a shopping bag, I punched 2 holes in the top to tie it closed with a ribbon bow.

A great gift idea to give for the upcoming holidays!!

MCT 105th New Release Sneak Day 3

Today we have another AWESOME set of dies that I know you are all going to LOVE!

Introducing the

Gift Card Tag Dies

and here is my inspiration...

These new gift card dies are going to make giving holiday gifts so much better than just handing over the card! Decorating them are so easy and of course the possibilities are endless

To make my tags I used some fun holiday pattern paper from my stash and embellished the front of each one using a new holiday die that are included with these tags.

The die cuts were popped up onto the front of each tag and further embellished with some stickles and gems.

The sentiments, from the soon to be released Gift Card Greetings set, were stamped onto the bottoms of each tag.

Some twine for the tops and my tags are ready to give!

MCT 105th New Release Sneak Day 2

Fun Gift Tags

Gift Card Greetings

I have a super easy gift idea using these new products to share...take a look and let me know what you think!

For my project today I used the new Fun Gift Tags and made a gift card holder ornament out of them.

To make my project I used both of the new Fun Gift Tags and attached them on 3 sides to make a pocket. By adding adhesive to the very edges of the 3 sides, there is the perfect amount of space to slide in a gift card.

To hold the gift card inside the tags, I threaded some ribbon through the front and back holes, tying the ribbon together in the front with a bow.

Before tying off the ribbon, I did add my sentiment using the new Gift Card Greetings and matching tags from the same set. I punched a small hole in the tag and slid it though the ribbon to hold it in place. A small foam dot under the sentiment will make sure it doesnt move.

That beautiful reindeer die cut, from the Fun Gift Tags set was die cut in matching pattern paper and popped up onto my gift card holder.

Finally I added a christmas tree hanger to the ribbon turning an ordinary gift into a tree decoration as well.

Happy Christmas....{MCT I Need A Favor}

Good Morning and welcome to my last MCT post of the 2019 year!

What an awesome year it has been! 

I am happy to share that I will be continuing on the MCT DT and can not wait to share another awesome year of Miss Emma's stamps and dies!

For todays post we are sharing Favors.

My favorite projects to make for sure!

I made a last minute gift idea/stocking stuffer that I hope you will like.

For my project I paired the adorable 2x2 Note Holder Die with the newly released Fun Sized Heart Bow Die to make a quick and easy Christmas favor which holds 2 mini chocolates in each.

To make this, I die cut the 2x2 Note Holder Die with some pattern paper from Lawn Fawn.

In the opposite papers I die cut the Fun Sized Heart Bow Die and popped it up onto the front of the note holder die.

For the sentiment, I used the Gingerbread Friends stamp set and stamped the sentiment onto the small Strip Sentiment Die

Before attaching the sentiment onto my project, I added 2 small candy cane embellishments for some extra sparkle.

A sweet treat ready for gift giving.

Big Santa Dies & HO HO HO (Freebie)
Take a look at my project and let me know what you think...

For my project I made a Christmas tag using one of my favorite older tag sets~ the Tag Dies and the Tag Die Layers. The base of my tag is black cardstock and then I added the layer using some Doodlebug Designs green pattern paper.

The adorable santa die cuts are of course from the new Big Santa Dies and for his hat I used the matching red pattern paper from the matching Doodlebug Designs paper pack~Sugarplums

I did add some Wink of Stella to his hat for some extra sparkle.

The Ho Ho Ho sentiment die was cut in black cardstock and then added to Santa's beard.

More Wink of Stella was added to the snowflake and stars as well as a small dot of Nuvo White enamel paint.

Finally I finished my tag with some more Nuvo Enamel dots in red and green and some White, Black and Red Trendy Twine for the top.

MCT 96th New Release Sneak Day 4

Money Holder Die

Ok how awesome is this new die....just in time for the holidays!

Oh the possibilies with decorating the new Money Holder Die!

For my project I used a pretty pattern paper for the money holder and then the Celebration Tags for the focal point. I layered black and white cardstock for the tag and then popped it up onto the front of the money holder.

The sentiment is from the Chalkboard Christmas stamp set and for some extra details I added red and silver gems to the snowflake and holly leaves.

A simple white Trendy Twine ribbon holds the envelope closed and adds a nice extra little bit of embellishing.

Merry Christmas....{MCT Gift Card Giving}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to another
MCT Gift Card Giving post!
Today the DT is showcasing projects using a gift card from MCT and I have a holiday gift card using an older die~ the Embossed Gift Card Holder.

Take a look at my project and let me know what you think...

With the holiday season fast approaching I wanted to share a quick gift card holder idea to make giving those gift cards extra special.
To make my project, I started with the Embossed Gift Card Holder Die cut in kraft cardstock. I added a pattern paper mat to the top of the card holder using a green plaid paper from Echo Park~ I Love Christmas paper pad.
The sentiment from the Dec 25th set was stamped onto the frame from the Santa Stamps  set and then popped up onto the front of the gift card holder.
I added the adorable Fun Size Holiday Bow in a green matching pattern cardstock which I also popped up onto the front of the gift card.
The to and from sentiment as well as the santa stamped onto the bottom of the gift card is from the Dec 25th.
Some glitter red enamel dots finished off my project.

MCT 84th New Release Sneak Day 2

Good Morning and welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the
84th New Release from My Creative Time!
Didn't you just LOVE yesterdays sneak? Today we have another MUST have for the upcoming Christmas season! Introducing the new
Santa Hat Lollipop Holder Die
and here is my inspiration project....

How adorable is this Santa Hat lollipop holder!!! Since Buffalo Plaid is a huge trend now, I used some pretty designer paper for my santa hat. I embellished the hat with the added white die cut pieces, which is where I also stamped my sentiment.

The great thing about this new set, besides how adorable it is, is the large sentiment spot on the hats white part. There are TONS of MCT sentiments that fit inside that spot!

Filled with an Original Gourmet Lollipop and held together with some Trendy Twine, this treat is ready to gift!
