Hi everyone!!
I have a new card technique that I saw on Splitcoaststamper called the Side Spring Card
This was very easy to do once I got all the folding down :)
I decorated my card with Fiskars What a Hoot Christmas stamp for the trees
I paper pieced them using PTI cardstock in New Leaf and Scarlet Jewel
For my glitter I used yellow stickles
For the circle sentiment I used MCT~ All around Christmas stamp set and heat embossed that
A simple two button center tied with cappuccino Twinery Twine finished it off
I also used MCT scalloped dies for that.
The inside of the card is stamped with MCT~ "Happy Holiday's" which I also heat embossed.
This is such a fun and different kind of card and I can see making more of these!
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Tinker Planet~WCMD
Crimbo Crackers~ Challenge #1 Anything Goes Christmas
Cricut Creative Cutter Room~Button, Emboss and Glitter
Cropstop~ Unique Fold

ReplyDeleteHi Jessica~
ReplyDeleteYour side spring card looks alittle bigger, did you make any adjustments to it? I played around with this when they first came out with it, it is simple to make I just didn't like it since it was too small....Your's looks pretty though! And I love your craft space, I spy your cricut on your desk...looks like you have a real functional space to craft.....
