Open if you Dare....{MCT Manly Monday}

 Good Morning everyone and Happy Monday!
It is time for another Manly Monday post with My Creative Time and I am excited to share my project with you all.
With Halloween right around the corner, I have a spooky manly card to share using some of the newly released MCT stamps and dies.
Take a look at my card and let me know what you think...
I need to start off by saying that I hate spiders so to me this is a spooky card...LOL!
To make my card I started with a kraft cardstock base, a layer of black cardstock and a piece of designer paper from an older Halloween pack. The layers were die cut with the Rectangular Frame Dies and Layers set and attached to my card base.
For the focal point I used the newly released Big Web Die, cut in black cardstock and added to the card front.
For the spiders I used the Trick or Treat Dies and added them to the web using some thread. I love the thin thread for that realistic spider web threading.
For the sentiment, I used the Layered Banner Dies and a new saying from the Halloween Banner Sentiments set.
I popped the sentiment onto the front of the card, in the middle of the web to help hide where I added the thread for my spiders.
A spooky manly card for Halloween is complete :)

To my Super Dad!...{MCT Manly Monday}

Good Morning everyone and Happy Monday!
It is time for another Manly Monday post with My Creative Time and I am excited to share my project with you all.
With Father's Day quickly approaching I have a fun gift card holder to share using some of my favorite older MCT stamps and dies.
Take a look at my project and let me know what you think...
To make my fathers day gift card holder, I started with some kraft cardstock and the newer Fancy Gift Card Holder Die. Once the gc was cut I added the top layer with a piece of woodgrain cardstock that layered right on to the Fancy Gift Card Holder.
Using the Super Tag Dies "burst" I die cut it in blue and yellow cardstock and attached it to my card front.
The super "man" diecut is from the Have a Super Day set which was cut in black cardstock and red cardstock for his cape. He was popped up onto the front of the gc but after I stamped my sentiment using the same set.
For some extra details I did cut some stars in the matching cardstock, also from the Have a Super Day set and placed them around the front of the gc in a random pattern.
A perfect father's day gift, adding a gift card and a message inside for your "Super Dad"

Thanks for Saving the Day....{MCT Manly Monday}

Good morning everyone!
It is my day to share on the MCT blog with todays Manly Monday post!
Making manly projects is always hard for me but I have a fun and cute gift card holder to share that I hope you like.
Take a look and let me know what you think....
To make my project I used the Fancy Gift Card Holder Die and some designer paper from my stash. Since this is a masculine project, I thought the plaid red paper was perfect for the top layer on this gift card.
For the details, I used the stash and bow from the His & Her set, popping them up above and below my sentiment which is from the Have a Super Day set.
I added some star embellishments, also from the Have a Super Day set as well as stamped the "to and from" on the top of the gift card using the Gift Card Greetings set.

Happy Birthday...{Manly Monday}

Good morning everyone!
It is my day to share on the MCT blog with todays Manly Monday post!
Making manly projects is always hard  but I have a fun and cute gift card idea to share that surely fits the bill.
Take a look and let me know what you think....
My son celebrated his 20th birthday this past weekend and I wanted to make something to hold an "extra" birthday present in.
The Gift Card Tag Dies are awesome for adding money or a gift card and attaching it to a gift which is exactly what I did.
I used some pretty plaid designer paper from my stash and added the birthday sentiment using the Gift Card Greetings set.
To add alittle extra detail, I die cut some stars in matching cardstock and the Star Rosette Die set to pop up onto the front of the gift card.
Some black twine and of course filled with some cash and this was ready for my birthday boy!

Good morning everyone!
It is my day to share on the MCT blog with todays Manly Monday post!
Making manly projects is always hard especially  but I have a fun and cute card to share that surely fits the bill.
Take a look and let me know what you think....
To make my card I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and then designer paper from Jen Hadfield in Warm and Cozy that I picked up at Hobby Lobby.
I die cut the designer paper using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die and put the card base on the side to work on the focal point.
For the adorable tool box, I used the Greatest Handyman set and die cut it using matching designer paper from the paper pack.
I popped the tool box up onto the card mat but before attaching it I die cut some of the tools from the same set in kraft cardstock to add to the box.
Next using the His & Her Dies, I added the stash in black cardstock to the toolbox, popped up as well for some extra dimension.
Finally to finish my card, I stamped the sentiment under the tool box using the Greatest Handyman set.
A fun manly card that can be used for any occasion.

Trick or Treat...{MCT Manly Monday}

Good Morning Everyone and Happy Monday!
I am up on the My Creative Time blog today with our
Manly Monday post!
This is where we make manly projects using MCT stamps and dies!
With Halloween in just a few days I decided to make a manly halloween tag...
take a look at my project and let me know what you think!
To make my tag I used the Cute Pumpkin Tag die cut in kraft cardstock for the base. The pumpkin was then die cut in a fun pattern cardstock that I found in my stash.
I added the Pumpkin Face Die in black cardstock and layered it onto the pumpkin tag die.
I also added the green leaf die cut for some fun extra details.
For the sentiment I used the Too Cute to Spook stamp set and stamped the Trick or Treat onto the Micro Tag Die. The sentiment is a perfect fit for the tag and was then added to the pumpkin tag with some hemp twine.
To finish off my tag I added more brown hemp twine to the tag topper making my tag ready to attach to a sweet Halloween treat!

Congrats....You Nailed IT!......{MCT Manly Monday}

Good Morning Everyone and Happy Monday!
I am up on the My Creative Time blog today with our
Manly Monday post!
This is where we make manly projects using MCT stamps and dies!
This one was actually inspired by a piece of designer paper I found in a new paper pack called Warm & Cozy by Jen Hadfield. I picked this paper pad up at Joannes and just love the outdoorsy papers.
Take a look at my card and let me know what you think...
How fun is that paper? This card was a very quick one to make and would be so fun to give to that special person.
To make my card I used a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and then layered the designer paper die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.
The sentiment and the nail die cut are from the Greatest Handyman set and were so perfect for this designer paper.
I ended up curving the sentiment to stamp onto the green part of the designer paper and then popped up the nail die cut in the "bullseye"
A quick and easy masculine card!

Well that is all I have for you today!
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and check out my card!

Take a look at my project and let me know what you think...
If you haven't grabbed the new Gift Card Gift Box die yet, you really need to for the upcoming holiday season!
For my project today, I made another gift card holder using the awesome new Gift Card Gift Box die. I die cut and put it together using some designer paper I had in my stash.
For the tag, I used the Made with Love dies and die cut each layer in kraft and white cardstock. Using the sentiment from the Greatest Handyman set, I stamped it onto the tag.
I also added the cute manly mustache stamp from the All Around Everything set above the sentiment which filled up the rest of the tag.
To finish off my project, I added some kraft trendy twine to attach the tag to the gift box.

It is another awesome die to make treats with! For my project today I made a baseball themed treat for my kiddo.
Take a look and let me know what you think....
How fun is this? I used some baseball designer paper for the gift box and then added the stamped sentiment inside the stitched rectangular frame die.
For alittle extra embellishing, I made a baseball using a circle die cut and the stitches stamp from the set You're a Hit Valentine.
I added some red and white Sixlets inside the box and tied it all closed with some Totally Red Trendy Twine.

You Are Unstoppable....{MCT Manly Monday}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to another
Manly Monday with My Creative Time!
With the last release being so SUPER out of this world, I grabbed the sets Have a Super Day & Super Tag Dies along with a few other sets to make my manly card!
Take a look and let me know what you think...
I love the way this card turned out! A fun manly card with just enough color for any super hero!
To make my card, I started with a piece of white cardstock that I die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die. I pulled out my inks next to stamp out my design.
I used the set Main Street for the road scene, stamping the road and the houses in black ink.
Next I used the new set Super Tag Dies and made a stencil out of the super hero starburst. I inked each one in a different color and then added some fun stamped words inside each starburst using the Alpha Pack set.
Of course I needed my super hero so I used the silhouette die cut from the Have a Super Day set and added a matching inked cape behind him.
The sentiment is also from the same set and I stamped that onto the die banner from the Chocolate Greetings set.
I finished off my card with some colored stars added to each of the starburst!
A super manly card that can be used for any occasion! I so love how this turned out!!!

Well that is all I have for you today!
As always I appreciate you stopping by!

Happy Birthday....{MCT Manly Monday}

Good Morning Everyone!
I hope you all had a great weekend!!!
I am back with a card for My Creative Time's
Manly Monday post!
My son's birthday is tomorrow... he will be 17! OMG I can not believe it!
Time is flying so fast and I just want it all to slow down! We are already starting to plan for college! I am so proud of him and all of his accomplishments~ he is a hard worker and does very well in school, football and his community activities.
Enough of me bragging...LOL! I made a CAS card to give to him celebrating his birthday.
Manly cards are always a challenge so I kept this one very simple.
Take a look and let me know what you think...
CAS right? I used a kraft cardstock base and added a layer of white cardstock that I die cut using the largest of the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies.
I stamped the sentiment, from the Make a Wish set onto the white mat using my MISTI to center it where I wanted.
Next using the Sentiment Label Dies, I die cut 4 banners. I arranged the banner onto the mat for a reference as to where I wanted them and then cut them in half. I did cut them all different lengths so when I taped them onto my card they did not line up exactly the same on the tops.
Once they were cut, I taped them above and below the sentiment making the sentiment the focal point.
To finish off my card, I added some thicker hemp twine around the top and bottom of the sentiment, hiding the cut marks from the banners and adding a manly border around the sentiment.
A simple bow tied off the hemp ribbon and completed my card.

I hope you like my CAS birthday card!
