Can you believe we are halfway through or 12 days of Christmas?
I can't.....going toooo fast!
It is also my day to post on the Creative Heals site
and our theme for this week was a card with an animal on it...
I used Riley~
I love Riley the Moose and have recently been introduced to this cutie stamp line.
I was lucky enough to find some of the wood mounted stamps at my local stamping store on clearance and of course I picked all of them up.
My card is on a Kraft Card Base~A2 size
DP is from LilyBee Designs~Jingle Tinsel paper line
Riley was colored with my copics~
E31,33,35,37
YG63,67
R39
B21
C1
I used My Creative Time~Build a Banner die set for the banner tabs
The sentiment is from the dollar bin at Michaels~ last year I believe
I also embossed my banner tabs with the Herribone cuttlebug folder
All the edges were inked with Tim Holtz Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
I really LOVE the way this came together!
Who could resist the Moose? LOL!

12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop~ Day 5

Good Morning Everyone!!

This is day 5 of 12
you should have come from Anita's,
if not head over to Sylvia to start the hop...you are going to want to see it all!

I have another Christmas card to share today using one of my favorite online digi sites~
Bugaboo Stamps
For my card I used Christmas Brat ~Girl Dress and colored her with my copics
The base of my card is an A2 size and I used the door kit that I picked up at my local stamp store.
I bought and used one at Easter time and have completely forgotten that I had them :)
Anyways I attached the two door pieces, that also come with the screen to the front and inside front card base.
The Flowers were from last Christmas time that I picked up on clearance
I layered 3 flowers and attached them with a brad. (the brad was black...didn't match so I covered it with a red candi and colored it in with stickles~ So much better)
I hot glued 3 leaves to the back of my flower and then attached them all to my card.
The inside was stamped with a dollar bin Christmas stamp.
My DP is from 25 Days of Christmas (?)

Good Morning Everyone!!
This is day 4 of 12
you should have come from Anita's,
if not head over to Sylvia to start the hop...you are going to want to see it all!

My project for today is a super quick...not my idea but scraplifted home decor project!
Last week during the Lori Whitlock Blog Hop
Natalie over at My Graham Crackers
had this adorable dry erase gift idea as a freebie download.

I grabbed the download, printed it out and inserted it into a black frame that I picked up at Michael's
I tied a big red bow around the side, attached the tag which was also a freebie and plan on giving this as a gift. All it is missing is the dry erase marker :)
(I also printed one for myself to display...Love this idea!)

A quick and easy gift giving idea.
I do have to say that I LOVE the way my bow turned out!!
What do your think?

12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop~ Day 1

Good Morning Everyone!!
I hope you all had your fill of Turkey and are ready to hop for the next 12 days!
We are sharing Christmas projects in the form of cards, LO's, home decor...just about anything to get you in the Christmas spirit!
Hopefully you will find some of my cards and gift ideas inspirational!

This is day 1 of 12
you should have come from Anita's,
if not head over to Sylvia to start the hop...you are going to want to see it all!

For my project I made an ornament that will be placed on my tree.
Last year I made these glitter ornaments for my youngest son's class and
put the names of each kiddo in vinyl.
They were such a hit that I am thinking of doing them again for my older son's class

The ornament is a plastic one that I picked up at Michael's.
The glitter is Martha Stewart's fine glitter in Hematite
The vinyl is blog candy I won from Erika over at Crafty Sprouts....this is Silver Sequins Scheinholographics Vinyl from Signs by Designs.
I love how it takes on the colors from the purple glitter ribbon that was from my stash
The snowflakes were cut using the Accent Essentials Cartridge.

Thanks~ Amber Ink Style

Good Morning!
It is time for my weekly post over at
Creativity Heals and the card team was asked to design CAS cards.
I also wanted to incorporate my Amber Ink post for this week as well.
This card was designed as a Thank You to that awesome team that I have had the privileged to work with! I LOVE Amber's beautiful line of ipapers and digi's and hope when you have a minute you will pop over and check it all out!!

My card today uses Fall~Time to Leaf ipaper that I printed on my computer. I then used it to cut out the leaves from the Create a Critter Cartridge at 2".
I stamped my sentiment from Paper Smooches~ Sentiment Sampler stamp set.
Loving this fun set!!!
I added some buttons from my stash and called it a card :)
Hoping you like it!!

Happy Birthday~ Paper Smooches Style

Hi everyone!
Can you believe it is almost Thanksgiving?
There is so much to do before I have everyone over to my house!!

I do
have a quick and easy birthday card to share using Paper Smooches stamps
The adorable cupcake was a freebie I got from their site (there was a new freebie up not too long ago not sure if this one is still there) and the sentiment is from the Sentiments Sampler I just found at my local stamping store :)
These are just too cute and I love the whimsical look of the lettering.
I used paper from "the stash" and embellished with some candies.
Quick and easy!

Sorry this is short but my list of to do's is growing by the minute :)
See you all tomorrow!

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas~ Amber Inkling Style

Morning Everyone!!

Even though Thanksgiving is not here yet I have Christmas on the brain.
I said last year that I would not wait to the last minute to get my holiday cards done and what there is only 2 months till Christmas...
So with that said I plan on making and sharing Christmas cards from now on....well maybe not all Christmas but the bulk will be :)

I have another Amber Ink card to share
Now If you saw my last Christmas card using the Green Cheer ipaper you will recognize it in this card, I used my leftover scraps and came up with this.
Here are the details:
The frames are from Preserves and I used the swiss dots embossing folder on the white card stock layer.
Before embossing I stamped my sentiment using Fired Brick Distress Ink and a dollar bin sentiment stamp.
My trees are from the Designer Calendar cartridge cut at 2.75 and 2"
I attached these with foam squares for the extra dimension.
My card stock is scraps in white and black, PTI in Scarlet Jewel
and Green Cheer for the trees.

All month long over at Less is More, Amber Ink is sponsoring their challenges.
This weeks challenge is
One Layer Cards using Leaves
Now remember all the challenges over at Less is More are CAS challenges.
And they stand by that....they have to be CAS!
There are some amazing cards already entered but you still have time to head over and link up!!

That is all I have for you today...
I hope you like my card :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT day!!
