I did put together a card for the PTO breakfast that was this morning...that
also fit into a few challenges :)

The Pink Elephant~Give Thanks
Craft Your Passion~Photo Inspiration
Getting Cricky~ Give Thanks
My Sheri Crafts~Be Thankful

For my card I used a Kraft card base,
Recollection card stock from the Simply Autumn collection
The adorable Turkey from My Scrap Chick cut on my cricut
Candies for the embellishments
white gel pen for the doodles
and
Fiskars Grateful Stamp set for the sentiment.
I am pleased with how this came out and it was a big hit among the Teachers.

Christmas Side Spring Card

Hi everyone!!
I have a new card technique that I saw on Splitcoaststamper called the Side Spring Card
This was very easy to do once I got all the folding down :)
I decorated my card with Fiskars What a Hoot Christmas stamp for the trees
I paper pieced them using PTI cardstock in New Leaf and Scarlet Jewel
For my glitter I used yellow stickles
For the circle sentiment I used MCT~ All around Christmas stamp set and heat embossed that
A simple two button center tied with cappuccino Twinery Twine finished it off
I also used MCT scalloped dies for that.
The inside of the card is stamped with MCT~ "Happy Holiday's" which I also heat embossed.

This is such a fun and different kind of card and I can see making more of these!

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Cricut Creative Cutter Room~Button, Emboss and Glitter
Cropstop~ Unique Fold

For my project I made a cute little gift bag and matching 3x3 card.
The gift bag is a file from The Cutting Cafe~
The paper is K & Company Spook tacular paper pad
I filled my treat bag with yummy Hershey bars....yup they are now gone...I ate them while crafting :)

The tag is attached with Trendy Twine in Orange Licorice.

My mini card is the back side of the paper used for the bag.
I cut a pumpkin out and added some stickles to the outside and attached it with homemade foam dots.
I also used Fiskars Halloween Night Stamps for the candy corn border and for the Trick or Treat Sentiment

Yummy Halloween treats!

"Boo" Halloween Card using Mini Monster's Cartridge

Morning Everyone!
I have a card to share today that I made for a few challenges.
I just recently picked up the Mini Monster's Cartridge on Ebay for a deal and have only played with it once.
Since Halloween is only a few weeks away I really wanted to play more with it.
Here is my creation~~
Spooky cute~don't you think?

For this card I used K & Company~Spook~Tacular paper that I just got from Michaels. Love this paper pack!!
I cut the ovals from George and Basic Shapes~one at 3 x 4 and the other 2.75 x 3.75
The ghost is from Mini Monsters and he is cut at 2.5. I cut all his layers and decided that these googly eyes made him look so much cuter.
I didn't have ribbon that matched so I used white grosgrain ribbon and colored it with my copics~V15. The picture is really hard to tell but it is a perfect match!
The sentiment is from Friskar's~Halloween Night Stamp set
Buttons are from my stash and I added Trendy Twine in Orange Licorice.
So what do you think?

This card is being entered into the following Challenges:
Really Reasonable Ribbon~ Challenge #32~ Autumn Theme
Cropstop~Challenge #37~Button Up Ladies!

D2D~ September Freebie~~ Halloween Tag

Hi everyone!

If you are looking for my Craft Your Passion Guest Design Post click here.

I have another project to share with you today.
I received my D2D image Falloween cat and I decided to make a tag using the image
Here it is :)
I wasn't too sure when I started putting it all together that I was loving it but that has changed.
I love the way it came out!!
The image is this weeks freebie over at D2D. If you complete this weeks challenge next week the image will be emailed to you. It goes on this way every week as long as you link up your project.

The tag was cut from a new file from The Digi Bistro that Cher will be putting out in her store really soon.
The paper is from Making Memories~Toil & Trouble
I used Fiskars Halloween Night stamp and heat embossed the sentiment and spider
The ribbon is from my stash and in order to be able to enter this over at Icopic I added stickles to the edge of the tag and on the cat.

And these are the copic colors I used to color the image.

I just love this time of year with the Fall, back to school and Halloween right around the corner.
Now I just have to get a jump start on my Christmas cards.
That's for November right ?!?!

Well thanks for stopping by!
Have a great night!!

Birthday Card for Birthday Sundaes: Challenge #21~ Another Bugaboo Image

Hi Everyone!
It is Sunday and usually we have something planned...some sort of job around the house to get done but today is a LAZY day~ at least for me and I have been crafting all day.
Most of what I have been doing is DT work that I cant share at the moment but I did squeeze in some time to make a challenge card.
I know...Halloween is a ways away but I just love this skelekinz~Birthday digi from Bugaboo.
I colored her with my copics (I think my cricut is jealous...my copics have been getting tons of love lately) and layered her on a new paper stack I just picked up at Joanne's.
Cloud 9 Designs~Seasonal Stack.
The entire pack is Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas paper.
I stamped the "boo" with Fiskars Halloween Night Stamp Set
and the "birthday girl" with MPS Pinka-licious Stamp Set.
I added some homemade skittles and distressed the papers with my Tim Holtz paper distresser.

So there you have it...
I will enter this into the following Challenges:
Birthday Sundae's~ Challenge #21
Catch the Bug Challenge~ Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT night!!
