Make a Wish!....{MCT Birthday Palooza}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to another My Creative Time DT post :)
Today we are sharing "Birthday Palooza" projects!!
You can never have to many birthday cards on hand, right?!?!
I made this card (probably) to give to my son who turns 18th in less than a month!
Take a look and let me know what you think...
Birthday cards are so fun to make and even more fun to give. I kept this card on the simpler side since it is for an 18 year old :)
Even though I made this for my son, I went with bright colored candles in a rainbow pattern using the Make a Wish set. Once I die cut each of the candles and flames, I added some wink of stella glitter for some extra sparkle on the flames.
I popped the candles up onto a piece of designer paper that I die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die. Once attached, I threaded some Totally White Trendy Twine behind the candles to tie into a bow.
The sentiment, stamped from the Light the Candles set was then added below the candles.
Such a colorful birthday card! I love it!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a GREAT Tuesday!
IF you are in the path of this COLD and snowy weather, please stay warm and safe. We are and they are calling for up to 2 feet of snow in some areas and bitter cold wind chills.
My boys are hoping for a snow day or two..LOL!

Special delivery!...{MCT I Need a Favor}

Good Morning everyone and welcome back to my blog!
Today I am sharing a project for My Creative Time's
"I Need a Favor"
I love making party/treat favors and this one is so fun for Valentines Day.
An easy project using your favorite designer paper and these could totally be mass produced.
Take a look and let me know what you think...
To make my project I used the super adorable Treat Pouch Die. I filled mine with Valentines M & M's but these also would hold other yummy treats!
I then wrapped a red ribbon bow around the box. This for decoration and to hold my tag BUT to also make sure nothing falls out.
For the tag I used the Chunky Tag Dies and stamped the sentiment from the newly released Signed Sealed & Delivered set.
I punched a hole in the tag and threaded the ribbon through to hold it on. Positioned the tag and my project was complete!
Again a very simple and easy to do project. I love how Miss Emma has the best treat dies!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a GREAT Wednesday!

Introducing the beautiful new
Heart Doily Dies

The doily was then popped up onto the card from using some foam squares.
For the card mat, I found this "love" designer paper at Joannes and die cut it using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die .
The card mat was then added onto a layer of white cardstock and mounted on a kraft cardstock base.

Happily Ever After.....{MCT 87th New Release Sneak Day 3}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to day 3 of sneaks for the
87th New Release from My Creative Time!'
We have another great new set to showcase for you today
Introducing the beautiful
Pretty Heart Roses
and here is my inspiration...
When I first saw these new heart roses I immediately thought of the movie Beauty and the Beast which happens to be my favorite Disney movie. It is also the first movie my husband and I watched together and holds a very special place in my heart.
So with that being said I wanted the rose heart to be my only focal point on my card.
I die cut the rose and one of the leaves, colored them with my prismacolor pencils and popped the up onto the front of my card. I did use a pretty wood pattern paper for the card mat in which I stamped the sentiment directly onto.
A very CAS card but I think it turned out pretty awesome!
