MCT 106th New Release Blog Hop

My Creative Time!

This has been such a great 2 days of amazing projects from the DT~ don't you think???

But there is one more day of projects with so lets get started....

For my inspiration I get to showcase the new 

 Tall Fancy Frame Dies 
Take a look at my project and let me know what you think... 

To make my card I used a few different MCT stamps and dies.

For the card base I used kraft cardstock and added a layer of white cardstock. The designer paper was then die cut using the Rectangular Frame Die Layers and added to the card mat.

For the sentiment, I used the Peace on Earth stamp set and added it to the Tall Fancy Frame Die that I cut in half and added to the top corner of my card.

Finally I embellished the card with some enamel dots in gold, white and black to match the designer paper.

5 Days of Christmas Week~ Day 3...{Cards}

Welcome to our 3rd day of our 

"5 Days of Christmas!" 

Today we all will be showcasing some quick & EASY Cards!

Take a look at my holiday card and let me know what you think...

I apologize for the poor photo, we had no sun and it was snowing when I took this pic so had to move my camera inside :(

Anyways I have a quick and easy holiday card to share using the Festive Branches and Peace on Earth stamp sets.

I started with a kraft cardstock base and added a layer of designer wood pattern paper die cut using the Rectangular Frame Die Layers.

Next I die cut the festive branches and bunched them together onto the front of the card. 

The sentiment, from the Peace on Earth set was stamped below my branches.

Finally I used the bow from the Sleigh Treat Box Die to hold my branches together.

Some added "dots" from the Festive Branches set embellished my card to finish it off.

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas.....{MCT Anything Goes}

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Boy is this week FLYING by! The countdown is on for Christmas and I still have a mile long list of things to do!

Before I get into today's MCT ANYTHING GOES project, I wanted to share this very exciting news~

Miss Emma is having a MCT DT call!! Do you LOVE crafting with MCT stamps and Dies?? Then you MUST check out the call!

Now for todays Anything  Goes project.....

I made a CAS Christmas card using several MCT products. Take a look and let me know what you think!

To make my card, I started with a black cardstock base and then added a layer of white cardstock die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die
The sentiment, from the Inside Christmas Cards set was stamped onto the card mat.
Moving onto the cutie Santa. I used the Scalloped Stitched Square Dies for the Santa background and then the Holiday Tag set for the belt and buttons.
Some matching sequins completed my card.
Festive, fun and easy to mass produce!

MCT 5 Days of Christmas Day 3... {Cards}

Welcome to Day 3 of the MCT 5 Days of Christmas Celebration!

Today the DT is sharing holiday cards!

Take a look at mine.....

Buffalo Plaid is so hot right now so when I was digging through my designer papers and came across the Carta Bella~ Christmas Delivery pad I was in HEAVEN!!
I do have to admit I want to hoard this pack and not use it BUT I did come up with a holiday card I am very proud of!
I used a Kraft Cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and then the designer paper die cut with the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.
The sentiment comes from the Belly Band stamp set and I stamped it directly onto the designer paper.
The deer head, a favorite die of mine for the holidays is from the set All is Calm. I die cut him with the buffalo plaid designer paper, popped him up with some foam squares after adding a nest of gold thread behind him.
To finish off my card, I added some matching red, black and gold sequins.

You Are One Smart Cookie.....{MCT Manly Monday}

Good Morning everyone!
It is time for another My Creative Time's
Manly Monday!

Today I am sharing a card that I made with the newest set~ Gingerbread Friends and the matching Gingerbread Banners set
Take a look and let me know what you think....

A super sweet an simple card to make!
I used designer paper from Reollections~ Holly Day Wishes, kraft cardstock mat and a white cardstock base.
The top layer of designer paper was die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die
The focal point of my card starts with the Scalloped Stitched Circles, the cutie gingerbread boy, colored with my prismacolor pencils and then popped up onto the circle dies.
The sentiment, from the new Gingerbread Friends set was stamped onto the larger of the new Gingerbread Banner Dies.

MCT 62nd New Release Sneak Day 1

Mini Tag Dies 2 

and here is the card I made using it......

With Christmas fast approaching, I thought making another Christmas card was the way to go.

I wanted to keep my card on the simple side, so I went through my stash of MCT goodies and found a holiday sentiment for the new Mini Tag Dies! This one is from the Teeny Tag Holiday's set and fits the new dies perfectly!

I used both layers of the new die and then popped it up onto the front of my card.

For the Christmas Tree, I used the Seasonal Greetings set and added some ornaments using the Boughs of Holly set. The ornaments are hung on the tree with some silver thread, which was wrapped around the die cut. Love the way that looks on the tree~BTW :)

To finish off my card, I added a silver star to the top of the tree using the Shine Like the Stars set.

How adorable is this card?

 I just LOVE those new Santa suit dies so I paired the hat with this releases freebie sentiment for a festive and easy to reproduce holiday card.

I used the designer paper from Doodlebug Designs and popped the 3 Santa hats up onto my card front using some foam.

The sentiment was stamped onto the card mat and to embellish I added some trendy twine and those cutie jingle bells.

MCT 60th New Release Sneak Day 2

Good Morning and welcome back to Day 2 of the 

60th New Release sneak peek week from

My Creative Time!

Today's sneaks include the new  set~

Santa Suit Dies

and here is the card I made using it....

For my card today, I made my own background using the sentiments from the Holiday Tags set. After stamping the entire card stock front, I placed this aside to make my center focal point.

I used the More Stitched Circle Dies to cut 2 circles, one in vellum and the other in black card stock. They were then layered and popped up onto the front of my card.

Next I die cut the new Santa hat from the Santa Suit Dies set, added stickles to the white parts and layered the whole thing onto the circles.

Some Nuvo Crystal drops completed my card.

MCT 59th New Release BIG Reveal & Blog Hop!

Christmas Word Tree

I love the look of black and gold and went with that color combo for my Christmas card.
I used my Silhouette to make a die cut of the word tree and then stamped it using Versafine Onxy Black Ink and Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.
Next I used the Date Night set and die cut the star which I then glittered up using gold stickles.
To finish my card, I made a nest of gold thread and placed it behind my popped up word tree. Some added glitter dots completed my card.

MCT 59th New Release Sneak Day 2

Good Morning and welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the 

59th New Release from My Creative Time!!!

Today new set is another AWESOME one.....

Chalkboard Christmas

and here is the card I made using one of the sentiments from this set.....

To make my card, I started with a white card stock base and layered some designer paper on the bottom half of the card base.

Next I centered my sentiment using my MISTI and stamped it first masking the holly leaves to stamp the sentiment in black and then masking the sentiment to stamp the holly leaves in green. Some tiny red bling were added for the berries :)

Finally I wanted to add a little more to the card so I grabbed a piece of scrap kraft card stock and the ripped paper edges die.

Don't you just LOVE that new Christmas word tree??? I know I do!

I used the sentiment and stamped it onto my designer paper. Since I wanted the sentiment to be my focal point I just added the popped up star to the top of the tree using one of the dies from the Date Night set.

For alittle extra embellishments, and to try and not take away too much from the sentiment, I added 2 banner dies, some trendy twine and a few NUVO crystal drops (totally obsessed with these..LOL!!)
