Open if you Dare....{MCT Manly Monday}

 Good Morning everyone and Happy Monday!

It is time for another Manly Monday post with My Creative Time and I am excited to share my project with you all.

With Halloween right around the corner, I have a spooky manly card to share using some of the newly released MCT stamps and dies.

Take a look at my card and let me know what you think...

I need to start off by saying that I hate spiders so to me this is a spooky card...LOL!

To make my card I started with a kraft cardstock base, a layer of black cardstock and a piece of designer paper from an older Halloween pack. The layers were die cut with the Rectangular Frame Dies and Layers set and attached to my card base.

For the focal point I used the newly released Big Web Die, cut in black cardstock and added to the card front.

For the spiders I used the Trick or Treat Dies and added them to the web using some thread. I love the thin thread for that realistic spider web threading.

For the sentiment, I used the Layered Banner Dies and a new saying from the Halloween Banner Sentiments set.

I popped the sentiment onto the front of the card, in the middle of the web to help hide where I added the thread for my spiders.

A spooky manly card for Halloween is complete :)

MCT 113th New Release BIG Reveal & Blog Hop!

For my inspiration I get to showcase the new set

~Ghost Cover Die

Take a look at my project and let me know what you think..

To make my project I used the super fun and back in stock Shopping Bag Die cut in some fun halloween star designer paper.

I then die cut the adorable ghost and trimmed off the bottom part of him so he would fit nicely inside the shopping bag with his head popping out. I of course inked up his cheeks and added some white gel pen for some extra details on him as well.

For the sentiment, I used the new Trick or Treat Die set for the "trick or treat" cut in matching black and purple cardstock. I then popped the sentiment up onto the front of the bag.

To finish off my project I punched 2 holes to add some black ribbon which will hold all the goodie inside as well as seal the bag closed.

MCT 113th New Release Sneak Day 4

Good morning everyone and welcome to Day 4 of sneaks for the 113th New Release from My Creative Time!

We have hoped you are loving everything so far and have one more AWESOME set to share

Introducing the adorable....

 ~ Ghost Cover Die

Take a look at my project and let me know what you think...

To make my card I started with a white cardstock base, added a layer of black cardstock and my designer paper cut using the Rectangular Frame Dies and Rectangular Frame Die Layers.

Next I used the new Ghost Cover Die, cut in white cardstock and layered him onto the front of my card base.

I added some pink cheek embellishments to his face and some white gel pen to his eyes for alittle more detail.

For the sentiment, I used the new Trick or Treat Die set and popped up the "boo" with some foam.

Finally to finish my card I added a few bat die cuts, also from the new Trick or Treat Die set.

MCT 113th New Release Sneak Day 2

Good Morning everyone and welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the 

113th New Release from My Creative Time!

Today we are showcasing 2 new die sets. 

Introducing the new

 ~ Spooky Tree Die 

~ Halloween Banner Sentiments

Take a look at my card and let me know what you think....

To make my card I started with the Tall Frame Dies and made a card base out of it using some kraft cardstock. I layered some designer paper on top using the Tall Frame Die Layers and then went on to decorate my card with the new and super Spooky Tree Die.

I cut the tree out with some brown pattern paper and added it to my card front.

For some extra spooky decorations I used the adorable bat die cuts from yesterdays sneak set, the Trick or Treat Dies.

For the sentiment I used the new Halloween banner Sentiments and added it to one of the medium sized Layered Banner Dies.

I popped up the sentiment banner onto the bottom of the card front and that completed my spooky fun halloween card.

MCT 113th New Release Sneak Day 1

Good Morning everyone and welcome to Day 1 of sneaks for the 113th New Release from MCT!!!

As you know Miss Emma LOVES Halloween time and let me tell you she did not disappoint with this new release!!! I am super excited to share all these fun and spooky projects with you all week so lets get right into it!

Today we are showcasing 2 new die sets... introducing the 

~ Big Web Die (freebie to first 25 shoppers)

~ Trick or Treat Dies

Now take a look at my project and let me know what you think.....

To make my project I used the adorable Short Milk Treat Die in a fun striped halloween pattern. Once I had the die cut I thought of how cute it would be with the web wrapped around the side of the treat box. I have to say it turned out exactly how I pictured and was very easy to add to the treat die. Before putting the Short Milk Treat Die completely together, I attached the web using a strong adhesive so when the treat box was fully assembled it held into place perfectly.

Of course I had to add that spooky cute spider which is from the new Trick or Treat Dies! 

For the sentiment, I used the oval die cut from the Short Milk Treat Die and stamped the saying using the Teeny Tag Holidays set. 

Added to the treat box and closed up with a mini clothes pin and my project was complete!!
