Good Morning everyone and welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the
113th New Release from My Creative Time!
Today we are showcasing 2 new die sets.
Introducing the new
 ~ Spooky Tree Die
~ Halloween Banner Sentiments
Take a look at my card and let me know what you think....
To make my card I started with the Tall Frame Dies and made a card base out of it using some kraft cardstock. I layered some designer paper on top using the Tall Frame Die Layers and then went on to decorate my card with the new and super Spooky Tree Die.
I cut the tree out with some brown pattern paper and added it to my card front.
For some extra spooky decorations I used the adorable bat die cuts from yesterdays sneak set, the Trick or Treat Dies.
For the sentiment I used the new Halloween banner Sentiments and added it to one of the medium sized Layered Banner Dies.
I popped up the sentiment banner onto the bottom of the card front and that completed my spooky fun halloween card.

"Frightful Greetings"

I had so much fun with this new kit that I made not 1 project but 3 cards to share! Take a look at my inspiration using this new kit!

3 different cards using the same kit~ the possibilities are ENDLESS

First up is my treat card.....
All of my cards use the same basic design. In this case a purple cardstock base layered with white cardstock and a top cardstock panel die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die. Please note that the Stitched Rectangular Frame die is NOT included in this kit but can be picked up in the MCT store HERE.
Using some Wilted Violet Distress Ink and the new Stencil, I made the pattern in both corners of my cardstock. I also stenciled a scrap piece of cardstock that was used to wrap my candy.
The sentiment, from the new kit was stamped onto the front of the card, just under where I was going to place the candy. I did use a circle die to frame my candy piece, adhered the candy to my card front.
To finish my card, I added a shear white ribbon bow and some purple enamel dots.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Up next is a spooky fun card using the new skeleton stamp/die.
To make this card, I started again with a black cardstock base, a layer of white cardstock and a die cut piece of designer cardstock from my stash.
Next I used the stencil on some white cardstock with Black Soot Distress Ink. Lightly adding a pattern to the piece that I then stamped the sentiment onto.
Finally I stamped and die cut the new skeleton image on some white cardstock which was then popped up onto the front of the card along with the sentiment. Some added enamel dots finished my card.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My final card is a simple design using the stencil as a focal point.
I stenciled the design onto a piece of white cardstock using Carved Pumpkin Distress Ink.
The sentiment was stamped onto the panel in the center of the card.
Finishing my card up with some black and orange enamel dots and a simple Totally Black Trendy Twine bow.

Batty for You.... {MCT Manly Monday}

Good Morning everyone!

It is time for another
Manly Monday!

Today I am sharing a card that I made with the newest set~ Stitched Bat Die and the matching Bat Sentiments set
Take a look and let me know what you think....
To make my card was actually pretty simple. I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and a piece of designer cardstock from my stash that I die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die
Next I die cut the adorable bat and added his cute face using some white embossing powder.
He was then popped up onto the front of my card with some foam squares.
The sentiment, also from the new Bat Sentiments set was stamped onto the Ribbon End Banner Die and also popped up with some foam squares.
Some Nuvo Enamel Dots completed my card.
Super cute card....maybe I will give it to my husband :)

31 October....{MCT Inspire Me Wednesday}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to another
Inspire Me Wednesday with My Creative Time!

Today's project was inspired by a few things...
~the newest release
~Halloween coming up (I know still in a few months)
and
~this adorable card I found on Pinterest HERE

Take a look at my Halloween invite and let me know what you think....
To make my invite, I used the coffin dies from the set~ Spooky Time and die cut the base to make a mini top folding card. I then layered the coffin card base with a piece of designer paper from my stash using the top stitched layer of the coffin die.
Next I stamped my sentiment into the center of the coffin using the newly released set~ Spooky & Creepy Night
To embellish my Halloween party invite, I added a simple orange bow to the top and a few die cut bats, also from the Spooky Time stamp/die set.
Finally to finish off my card, I die cut another top layer coffin piece in white to add to the inside of the card. That way all the party details can be added for the guests!
A super quick and easy project, one that can easily be mass produced and looks adorable if I say so myself :)

I hope you like my project!!!
Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what the rest of the DT made!
I know the inspiration is AWESOME!!!!

Scary, Scary......{MCT Manly Monday}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to
Manly Monday!
I have a super cool Halloween card to share today using a stencil technique...take a look

Since this is a manly card, I went monochromatic adding just a hint of color with the orange nuvo crystal drops.
I used the spider web die and made a stencil, inking the image onto my card base. For those who are interested, I will be sharing a tutorial on Thursday using this technique :)
Next I stamped my sentiment onto a sentiment label die and popped it up onto the card front.
Some black and orange nuvo crystal drops and a bat die cut completed my Halloween card!!

MCT 58th New Release Sneak Day 1

Good Morning and welcome to the
58th New Release
sneak peek week from
The DT has an amazing week of sneaks to share followed by the new release BIG reveal and Blog Hop on Friday!I hope you will join us~ You are going to LOVE this month's new stamps and dies!!

Today's sneaks include the new set~
Candy Corn Kisses
and here is the card I made using it......
How fun is this new sentiment and candy corn stamp/die?
To make my card I started with the sentiment from the new Candy Corn Kisses set and then built the card around it. I used the candy corn die cut, stamped the matching stamp onto pattern paper and then paper pieced it onto the die. Since I was focusing my card around the sentiment, I used one of the hearts from the Stitched Scallop Heart Die.
For the "greater than" sign I actually took the "V" from You Touched My Heart and turned it onto its side. Pretty clever right??
Finally I popped up the heart and candy corn die cuts using some foam dots and embellished with some beautiful Autumn Sequins from Trendy Twine.

Happy Halloween.... MCT Trending Now {Color Blocking}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to
My Creative Time's Trending Now!
Today the DT is showcasing projects using the Color Blocking Technique

After google searching Color Blocking, I found this chart that I then used to make my card.
I went with Analogous Color Schemes.....which is using colors next to each other on the color wheel
I am hoping that I did this project correctly...LOL!
Here is my Halloween card
To make my card, I started by die cutting 3 different color pieces of cardstock in close color ranges to one another using the largest of the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.
Once I had the layout set up, I took the orange piece of cardstock, trimmed it down and then die cut the "Happy" sentiment out. I filled in some of the missing pieces in the wording but left other parts so you could see the yellow through it..looks kinda cool don't you think?
I stamped the "Halloween" sentiment under my die cut "Happy" and then embellished with some hemp twine and some matching sequins.

Here is the Halloween card I made using the Lets Celebrate stamp set plus some of the recently releases stamps and dies...can you pick out the newbies????
To make my card I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of black cardstock then using the largest of the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies added a layer of designer paper.
For the focal point of my card I used the newly released Stitched Belly Band Dies for my sentiment. I mixed 2 different stamp sets to make one sentiment....the "it's" and the "party time" are from the Let's Celebrate set and the "halloween" is from the new Happy Everything set. In keeping with the color combo theme of orange, black and white, I added some white gel pen to the "party" sentiment....looks like lights doesn't it?
To finish up my card I added the adorable ghost stamp/die from the Too Cute to Spook set. I just love that cutie face!!!
Some May Arts black ribbon, a black clothes pin and some random enamel dots and this card is completed!

Boo! MCT Flash Friday Blog Hop & Sale

Good Morning and Happy Friday everyone!!!!
Miss Emma has a special treat for everyone this weekend!! A SWEET sale (all the details are listed below) and a fun Mini Blog Hop showcasing this weekend's FREEBIE die
"Boo"
You should be coming from the very talented
Emily
if not you can always head on back to the
My Creative Time
blog to start hopping!
For my project I made a shaker card! I LOVE making them and I just can not get enough of that adorable Ghost stamp/die from the Too Cute to Spook set! To make my card I started out with a piece of orange cardstock for my card base then layered a piece of black topped with a white piece die cut using the largest Stitched Rectangular Frame Die. I wanted to add some color to white cardstock so I used some orange spritz and some black color shine. Just enough to get inky and to take away the white white of the cardstock.
Next using the ghost die, I die cut him into the center of my cardstock. I layered a piece of acetate to cover the cut out and filled him with some sequins. To seal him up, I backed him with a small piece of vellum. I couldn't help but add some more cute googly eyes.....(these were sitting on my desk left over from my last project that you can see HERE)
Using that oh so cutie "Boo" die, I cut him in some black cardstock as well as some fun foam so I could pop him up under my ghost. To flow with the rest of the card I colored the "boo" with my Wink of Stella for some extra shimmer and shine. To then finish my card off, I tied some Totally Orange Trendy Twine  around the top of my card and added another sentiment. The tag is from the Fun Stitched Tag Dies set and the sentiment is part of the Too Cute To Spook new release set

BOO....Inspire Me Wednesday w/MCT

Good Morning everyone!
It's time for another
My Creative Time Inspire Me Wednesday.
If you are new to my blog or to what Inspire Me Wednesday is all about, it is
where the DT makes a project of our choice based on an inspiration subject.

My inspiration came from searching Pinterest where I came across this Halloween card
I took the design concept of both cards and came up with this adorable card....

I started my card with a white cardstock base and added a layer of Authentique~Spirited designer paper die cut using the largest Stitched Rectangular Frame Die. Next I took the newest Stitched Squares Inside and Out dies and made my card focal point. 2 of the square dies were used for that, the largest cut in black cardstock and the 4 smaller ones using matching purple designer paper, again from the Authentique paper pad. For the "Boo" sentiment, I used the Uppercase Fun Dies (LOVE those letters!) and the adorable ghost is from the newest release~ Too Cute to Spook. Since he really is too cute to spook I added some googly eyes and popped him up onto the square frame.
My final embellishing for my card was a May Arts Orange ribbon banner that I stapled onto the top of my card mat.

MCT 46th New Release Sneak Day 2

Morning everyone and welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the
My Creative Time 46th New Release!!
Yesterday was packed with AMAZING inspiration showcasing 2 new products!
Well get ready for today because the DT will be sharing another AWESOME stamp and die set~
Too Cute To Spook!
My card for today uses several older MCT stamps and dies which I combined with the new Mummy stamp and matching die from the Too Cute To Spook set and the Stitched Square Die. I wanted to make my own background paper so I used the Build a Chevy Background and Slate and Smoke Hybrid Ink. I stamped my sentiment directly under my square die cut and embellished the remaining card around that focal point. I used one of the Stitched Sweetheart dies, the sweet new XXXXX border die, some random enamel dots and then stamped and die cut the adorable mummy. The picture does not show the added wink of stella I added to him but in real life he is full of sparkle!

My Creative Time Products Used:

Isn't that Vampire just too cute??? I LOVE him and he is going to be perfect for all those fun Halloween projects!!! To make my card, I used several older MCT dies and paired them up with the highly requested new Stitched Squares!!
Like I always begin my cards, I used the largest Stitched Rectangular Frame Die and die cut my card mat. Next I used 2 of the new Stitched Square dies and made a mat for my vampire. I embellished the square mat using the small heart die from the Stitched Layering Hearts set and saved the cut out for the sentiment bubble. I also used the Stitched Decorative Banner die and some enamel dots. The sentiment, which is also part of this releases Freebie, was stamped onto a Fun Speech Bubble die, popped up using some foam adhesive and embellished with the extra heart die.
Finally to complete my card, I stamped and die cut out the cutie Vampire and colored him using my prismacolor pencils. He was then popped up onto the square mat right under the speech bubble.
