I watch 2 girls after school for a friend on Mon/Wed and Fri's and one of the girls just celebrated her 8th birthday. Because of the storm this past weekend we were unable to attend her family birthday party so this card is given to her with her birthday present yesterday.
The perfect thing about this card is I always say to her~ "What's up Chickie" so she will for sure get a kick out if this :)

How adorable, Jessica! Love your little chick and his tuft of feathers, and the stitching on the card is just fabulous. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteOMG this is the cutest!! I love that you stitched around the card. I so wish I could do this but I am so scared of my machine that is still brand new in the box. I once sewed my pants to my sock while I was wearing them when I thought I could sew a rip in them by hand. I am sewing challenged!!
