Beep Beep.....Mean's Happy Birthday in Robot....... {TKJ, TAWS and Craft it Up Guest}

Good Morning, Happy Memorial Day!!

I hope you all are having a GREAT holiday weekend! I know we are! We have been at my in laws cottage on the lake all weekend, enjoying the family time and sun!

Anyways........Welcome to my PACKED blog today!

This week over at The Kraft Journal we are challenging you to

so for my card I used one of my favorite go to challenge blogs~ Seize the Birthday 

 for my card.

  Since it is also Sneak Day 1 of the new June release over at

The Alley Way Stamps

 I added my sneak using the fun fun stamp set Bot Time and came up with this birthday card..... I hope you like it!!!

I started my card off with a Brown Kraft Cardstock base and added a mat of Bazzill  Navy card stock and designer paper from DoodleBug Deisgns~Boy's Only paper pad. Before adhering my mat  to my card base, I used some White Twill Tape and let some of the extra hang off the end....you know, just for a bit extra :)

I also added some screw brads (to match the sketch) and taped the whole mat down to my base. Next came the stamping of the fun image and sentiments. I used the new release stamp set from The Alley Way Stamps ~Bot Time, some memento tuxedo black ink and another matching sheet of designer paper. I left the image plain...cause I just LOVE this big guy and double stamped the "beep".

Since this is a birthday card I stamped another sentiment inside the card following the same layout as the front using several sets....

Bot Time, Alphabet Soup, and Wish BIG!

So fun isn't it????

TAWS Sneak Peek Day 1~Tag~Alongs

It is Day 1 of our sneak peeks for the new

April stamps being released from

Today I am sharing a project using the new

Tag~Alongs stamp set..

a GREAT set of adorable images and patterns perfect for mixing and matching with all your TAWS!

and here is what I made.....

I used this week's Retro Sketch

I came up with this....

What I LOVE about this new set is the adorable images, perfect for paper piecing, coloring and mixing with your favorite TAWS sentiments!

Here is a close-up of the stamps I used....the cute house and "welcome" sentiment are from the new release Tag~Alongs ....and the "home" is from Alphabet Soup.

The papers are all from Studio Calico's Here + There Collection.

I added a burlap banner~ stuff from my stash (originally sold though 3GJ but now discontinued) as well as a vintage button also from 3GJ to match the sketch

CI Paint Inspired By~ Anything Goes

a fan favorite for sure and here is the project I made....

I wanted to play along in this week's The Kraft Journal challenge which was White on Kraft and what better way to do that then use Creative Inspirations Paint Deliquesce White embossing powder on Kraft card stock! I just LOVE the look of that together...don't you??? I embossed the frame with the white embossing powder then cut out the image and glued it to the tag base. I then stamped the heart and painted it with CI Paint in Garnet and embossed the letter "u" with more white embossing powder. I was going for a CAS look so I just finished it off with some Trendy Twine in Krazy for Kraft and Chocolate Truffle and 3GJ Crinkle ribbon in Antique White. The stamps that I used for this tag are from The Alley Way Stamps~ Doodle Frames, Cover Ups, Jibber Jabber and Alphabet Soup.

Morning Bloggers!!!

I have a card to share for TAWS that I made to be sent to a very special little boy.

His name is Sebastian and you can read all about his story HERE (2/2/12) and HERE (11/26/12)

 It was through my friend 

Amy over at Tsuruta Designs 

that I got to learn of his story.

I sent a card for Sebastian the last time he was having surgery and this is the card I will be sending to him for this surgery.

I came up with this......

I really hope this brings a smile to Sebastian's face :)

Amy was looking to stay away from the get well cards

but thought using the cute bandaid from the Sea Mates set on the whale would be adorable for a

 "thinking of you" /"get well" without actually saying Get Well :)

I really love the way this card turned out and like I said before sure hope this brings a smile to his face!!

For my project today I made a 
Christmas File Folder Accordion Mini Album
using several TAWS sets... I hope you like it!

This is the cover...I used the new December Release~

Doodle Frames for the belly band and stamped the

"x-mas" and the date using Alphabet Soup

Here is the inside...complete with 4 tags that can be used for pictures and/or journaling

Today I am sharing a project using the new

Doodle Frames

 stamp set

I made a gift card holder card..perfect for those coffee lovers for the holidays

How adorable is this??? I used a file from the Silhouette Store and stamped my frame on the wrapper.

I used only use a bit of my clear gel pen and white gel pen to add some sparkle and color to the frame and let the rest be natural... 

For the sentiment I used the letters from the Alphabet Soup set.

So what do you think?

TAWS Be Inspired #16 Let It Snow

Today starts a new

So for my card 

I followed this weeks sketch from Retro Sketches

and came up with this......

Kind of hard to think of snow when I took this picture in 60 degree weather and sunshine...LOL

But I know the white stuff will be here before we know it!
Anyways

I used a 2 of November's new release stamps from TAWS~

Framed and Jolly Holiday, as well as made my own sentiment using Alphabet Soup

If you look closely on the frame, I heat embossed snowflakes...just something little to add some additional texture to the white cardstock
