MCT 80th Edition Sneak Peek Day 2

Good Morning everyone and welcome to
Day 2 of sneaks for the 80th New Release from
My Creative Time!!
Today the DT is showcasing another awesome stamp/die set.
Introducing....
Never Stop Dreaming
and here is my card.....
I love this dreamcatcher stamp! I really wanted to make the image pop so I created a rainbow inked background to then heat emboss the dreamcatcher on top.
The white embossing really looks awesome against the inked background~dont you think?
The sentiment is also from the new Never Stop Dreaming set and was stamped also on top of the inked background.
I did spritz some water onto the background to make the color splotches and then added some nuvo enamel drops in clear for some dimensional water marks.
A new favorite card of mine!

May Your Day Be Filled With Sunshine.....{MCT Whatever Wednesday}

Hi Everyone!
Thanks for stopping by today for another
My Creative Time~ Whatever Wednesday!
Today I have another inky card to share using the newly released kit~ A Sunny Hello
I am in LOVE with this kit and if you haven't grabbed it yet make sure you do~ it is AWESOME
Anyways take a look at my card and let me know what you think....
I told you I got inky again! Everything on this card was inked up with Tim Holtz Distress inks in Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn & Salty Ocean.
I started my card by inking up the background using the new stencil. I then die cut it using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.
I inked up some white cardstock to die cut the pieces for the sun and hearts, also from the new kit.
To make the rainbow I inked up again some white cardstock and then used the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies to make my rainbow. I attached the rainbow behind 2 of the Fun Stitched Cloud Dies.
The whole sun/clouds and rainbow focal point was then popped up onto the front of my card.
I stamped the sentiment using the new A Sunny Hello kit and my card was complete!
Such a happy card, don't you think??

As always, thanks for stopping by!
Make sure to check out the rest of the DT's inspiration over on the

I know I say this all the time but I am thinking that this is my new favorite kit! Such an AWESOME stencil and stamp/die set!!
I got inky with my card for today, using my Tim Holtz distress inks in Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Candies Apple for the ombre background. Once I inked up the stencil onto my white cardstock, I die cut it out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.
Using the same distress ink colors, I inked up the new sun die and the matching heart dies from this set which I then popped up onto the front of my card on a circle frame from the sets Bunch of Fun Circle Dies and More Stitched Circle Dies. Of course I had to use the adorable face stamp from the set and lightly embellished him with some white gel pen and chalk.
To finish off my card, I stamped the sentiment and added some random inked hearts.
A bright, fun and cheerful card using this ADORABLE new kit!!

MCT 78th New Release Sneak Day 2

Good Morning and welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the
78th New Release
from
My Creative Time!!

I hope you enjoyed the sneaks and inspiration from yesterday!
Today we have some SUPER sets to showcase!
Introducing...
Have a Super Day
&
Super Tag Dies
And here is my inspiration.....
I have 2 projects to share today using these new sets!
Both projects use both stamp and die sets and I got alittle inky making these.
I used the Super Tag Die super hero splotch and made a stencil which I then inked up onto both the card mat and tag mat.
I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Mustard Seed and Salty Ocean.
The tag, after I inked up the splotches, I added the stamped sentiment from the Have a Super Day set. I finished up the tag with some Totally Red Trendy Twine and this tag is ready for a gift.
The card  which I kept along the CAS line was designed onto a piece of white cardstock that I die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.
Again I added the stencil and inked up the splotches using my distress ink.
I stamped the sentiment from the Have a Super Day set and then die cut the super hero lady using black cardstock. Of course since she is a Super Hero I added her red cape and assembled her onto the card from.
I finished off this card my adding some die cut stars, also from the new Have a Super Day set in the matching distress colors.

***Sneak Peek giveaway!***
We will be giving away the sets we are showcasing each day to ONE lucky winner! Since the KITS did SOOO WELL, "My Creative Time" is offering another brand new "EXCLUSIVE" kit for you!  This kit will consist of a stamp set with a coordinating die along with a coordinating STENCIL!  YEP, you saw that right ...... a "STENCIL".  I am SUPER EXCITED to share this new "EXCLUSIVE" kit with all of you!  Now, since this is an "EXCLUSIVE" kit, basically once these kits are sold out, they are gone FOREVER!
This is SUCH A FUN kit, I cannot wait for you to see all the projects the team has created using it! Don't forget to use the code FLASH at checkout to get 20% off of your entire "in-stock" only purchase!

I introduce to you:
"Thankful Greetings"

And here is my inspiration.....
For my project I made a card and matching tag.
I made the tag first and loved the way the stencil inked up with my distress ink. I used the Just Tags Die, and cut the pieces in white and kraft cardstock. On the white cardstock layer, I inked up just the leaves using Crushed Olive, Carved Pumpkin and Candied Apple Distress Ink. The sentiment, part from the matching die set and the stamped part from the Thankful Greetings stamp set was added on the side of the tag. Some hemp twine to the tag top and my tag was complete.
Since I loved the tag so much, I decided to make a matching card. I used the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die for the white layer of my card and again inked up the stencil with the same matching colors. I die cut the sentiment and stamped again the same sentiment onto the card mat.
The mat was then popped up onto the card front, a hemp twine bow was added and my card was complete.

Happy Harvest Gift Bag......{PKS Challenge}

Happy Sunday Everyone!
Hope you are all having a GREAT long Holiday weekend!!
We were going to head to our annual Labor Day Fair today but instead took the kids to get sneaker for back to school~ sounds like a fun switch~off doesn't it?? LOL!!
We WILL  head to the fair tomorrow after the Labor Day Fair in which both my son and husband are marching in for the Bulldogs~ my son's football team which my husband also helps to coach. So myself and the little one will watch from the sidelines and collect the yummy candy the kids throw and then we will walk the fair for a bit.
Anyways I was able to sneak into my craft nook to get a project done for the current
It is a gorgeous photo inspiration picture that I shared a pic down below but here is the project I made..... My inspiration for my project was the Fall colors....seeing that Fall is one of my FAVORITE times of the year I went with a fun treat bag. Hope you like it!!!
For my project I used the adorable Oval Window Treat Bag from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon that happened to be last week's freebie. If you missed it, Lisa has moved the bag into the $0.99 section. A steal if you ask me!! I will so be making more of these...they were super easy to put together and can be decorated for any holiday or event!

Once the bag was cut and ready to be assembled, I stamped the pumpkins from the PKS Faceless Fall set using matching designer papers all from Recollection Simply Autumn set. I decided to stamp the pumpkins twice so I could pop the center up for a little more dimension. Then using the leaf stamp from the same PKS set I stamped them on pattern green paper and popped them up under the center pumpkin oval. But before putting the pumpkins together I inked the edges with distress ink for some pop.

Then to finish my project up, I stamped my sentiment (also from the PKS Faceless Fall Fun set) onto one of the sentiment spot cut files from PPPR using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I should have stamped it using a richer ink...maybe versamark...even after heat setting the ink on the designer paper it still doesn't look quite right :(

Supplies Used:
Paper~ Recollections
Simply Autumn
Stamps~ Peachy Keen Stamps
Dies/Cuts~ Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon
Other~ Distress Ink
Gathered Twigs, Rusty Hinge, Peeled Paint

So there is my project! What do you think??? Hope you liked it!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT night!!!!

Precious Baby.....{TKJ}

Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!!!
It is time for a new challenge over at

This week's challenge is...
Brides or Babies
since I do not have very many baby cards in my stash I thought I would play along with the babies part of the challenge and this is the card I made....
I started out with a Brown Kraft Cardstock base and added some layers of designer paper from Carta Bella~True Friends that I purchased from Anne's Paper Boutique. I couldn't let my card go without some added stitching, so I ran my mat through my sewing machine.
Using my Cameo and the adorable baby buggy file from the store, I cut all the layers out and inked the edges using some Distress Ink, my Ink Blending Tool, more designer paper from Carta Bella and Brown Kraft Cardstock
To further embellish my card I added some White Twill Tape (I LOVE this ribbon), some Natural Hemp Cord, a pink button from my stash and some bling from SU.
Finally to finish my card off, I stamped my sentiment using

So there you have it....my inspiration for this week's challenge.
I hope you have enjoyed my card and will play along with us!
As always I have linked all the supplies I used from The Kraft Outlet throughout my description.  If you have not checked out the store yet....make sure you do! There is so much available, the prices are so reasonable and shipping is super fast!!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT Monday!!

Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!!!
It is time for a new challenge over at The Kraft Journal!
This week we want to see all your
Clean and Simple
or otherwise known as CAS creations
(a personal favorite of mine....as you may know from many of my cards)

As you may know from previous posts..we raise chickens~ hence the name of my blog :) and I am always on the lookout for chicken stamps....well I found this adorable older set from
 Stampin Up~Best of Cluck
but had the hardest time purchasing it....they were going for CRAZY prices on eBay so every time I was close to winning the set I was always outbid :(
Well I finally won it and this is the first time I am using it ....
So I hope you like my card!!
And I even finished off the inside....
What do you think.....Such a cute chicken right????
Since it is CAS, there were not a lot of extras added so I  linked all the products I used from The Kraft Journal below in the supplies used.
I could see making these in bulk and packaging them up for a quick hello to send to a friend.
It was super simple to put together and really what too the most time was the stitching and waiting for my stickles to dry!!

Supplies Used:
Paper~ Brown Kraft Cardstock, Bazzill Vanilla, Black
Stamps~ Stampin Up~ Best of Cluck
My Creative Time~Spring Chicken Backgrounds
Ink~ Vintage Photo Distress Ink, memento tuxedo black

I wanted to try something new, I have made mini notebooks before but never with a vintage-y feel so I hope you like what I have created...
Here is my mini journal that I picked up from The Kraft Outlet,
I used the small, Natural Crinkle Journal and then went about embellishing it.
You know I love my sewing machine, so I of course had to use it on my designer paper.
I found this cling butterfly stamp in my stash and thought it would add some extra texture along with some SU bling
Here is a close-up of the sentiment I used....it is one of this month's new releases from
The Alley Way Stamps~ Life is Short

So what do you think??? I hope you like my first DT project for The Kraft Journal and will check out what the rest of the DT has created HERE.
