Happy Holidays.....{MCT What a Treat Wednesday}

Good morning everyone and welcome to another
My Creative Time's
What a Treat Wednesday!

With Christmas right around the corner, I wanted to share a quick and easy treat idea that can be mass produced and handed out to teachers, neighbors, the mail carrier....anyone who you may need that 1 last gift for!
To make my treat I used a shorty chute from Trendy Twine and filled it with some peppermint M&M's (YUM).
Taking some Candy Cane Trendy Twine, I wrapped it around the box and tied it in a knot, placing it aside to make my tag.
The tag was actually super easy to make. I used the Fun Stitched Tag Dies set, stamped the sentiment from the new No Peeking set~BTW such a perfect fit for this tag!
For alittle extra embellishment, I die cut the cutie mini Christmas tree and popped it up onto the tag.
The tag was then attached with a bow to the treat box and it is ready to give!

I hope you enjoyed my treat!

You Color My World....{MCT What a Treat Wednesday}

Good morning everyone and welcome to another
My Creative Time's What a Treat Wednesday!

The school year has started for many and my kiddos will be back to school in about 3 weeks so I thought I would focus my project around school time.
These would be so fun to make for the little ones (mine are too old to take these to their friends but trust me they wanted one...LOL)
To make my treat, I used a small resealable bag and filled it with a rainbow of crayons.
For the topper, I started with the Stitched Square die that fit the size of the bag and then die cut another one of the same size in white cardstock. I wanted to make the top layer of the topper look like a piece of paper so I stamped it using the Get Schooled stamp set. It still needed the paper "holes" on the side, which I got using the Fun Stitched Edges set.
The sentiment is  from the newly released Let's Paint the Town set (which I just LOVE and didn't realize until I was writing up my post that I used the same set and title of my post as the last one~oh well...see I really do LOVE this set!!)
Finally I added 2 small crayon die cuts that I found in the Silhouette store. They were sized down to the perfect embellishment for my topper.

Happy St.Patrick's Day...MCT What a Treat Wednesday

Good morning everyone and welcome to another
My Creative Time's What a Treat Wednesday!

St. Patty's day is right around the corner and I have a fun, quick and easy project to share that would be perfect for handing out.
I just LOVE how easy these were to put together using the Bubblegum Treat Box Die and some designer paper from Simple Stories. After die cutting the boxes out, I used the new shamrock die from the You're My Lucky Charm set and made the cut into the center of the box. I did place some acetate onto the inside of the box so my chocolate treats dont fall out :)
Next using the sentiment from the Teeny Tag Holiday's set, I stamped it onto the bottom corner of the treat box. It fit perfectly in the space too!!!
I filled the box with some gold wrapped chocolate and tied the ends with some white thin ribbon I had in my stash.

Will you be my Valentine??...MCT What a Treat Wednesday

Happy Hump Day everyone!!!
It is time for another "What a Treat Wednesday" with My Creative Time!
Well if you know me, you know I love to make treats and with Valentines Day right around the corner I grabbed 2 of the new releases from last month~ You Touched My Heart & You're a Hit Valentine to pair up with the Treat Slider Box to make some valentine chocolate treats.
These were simple to make and can be mass produced for your little ones to hand out. Unfortunately my kiddo's are over the age of giving valentines out :(  so maybe I will just have to give these to the hubs...LOL!
After wrapping my chocolate nuggets with designer paper from MME~Filled with Love paper pad, I placed them inside the slider part of the box. Dropped them into the clear pretzel bags that I picked up at Michaels and tied them closed with some Totally White Trendy Twine.
For the tag, I used the new small heart die from the You Touched My Heart set and die cut them with some matching designer paper. I hole punched the corner and then stamped my sentiment.
Easy Peesy! Tied the tags onto the bags with the Totally White Trendy Twine and my treats are all ready for valentine's day!

Sweets for my Sweet.....{MCT What a Treat Wednesday}

Good morning everyone and welcome to another
My Creative Time's What a Treat Wednesday!
Halloween is so close so for my project today I made a fun treat that can me mass produced and would be so fun to hand out as a class treat!
How adorable are these lollipops??? These were so easy to put together...lets take a closer look at each one :)
First up is that cutie pumpkin. To make him I started out with a Orange Splash Original Gourmet lollipop and added a pumpkin face using some vinyl. Then I wrapped some Totally Brown Trendy Twine around the stick to look like the stem of the pumpkin and attached a Stitched Leave Die in between the twine. For my sentiment I used the newly released Mixed Just For You set and stamped it onto one of the Fun Stitched Tag Dies. To finish this lollipop off, I attached the tag to the stick using some Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine.
Now for my bat lollipop, I started off with a Juicy Grape Original Gourmet Lollipop and added some googly eyes to the front. Then using my Silhouette and a bat file from the store, I cut the wings and glued them onto my lollipop. So adorable right?!?!? Again I did the same thing with the sentiment, this time attaching it to the stick using some Grape Licorice Trendy Twine.

You've been BOOed!....{MCT What a Treat Wednesday}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to another
My Creative Time's
What a Treat Wednesday!!
Halloween is getting closer so for my project today I made a fun treat that can me mass produced and given to anyone you want to "BOO"
To make my project I used one of the clear Pillow Boxes from Trendy Twine and filled it with some candy corn. To close up the box, I added some May Arts Black Chevron ribbon and tied it off on top with some Orangesicle Trendy Twine.
Using the newly released Holiday Tags stamp and die set from the last MCT release, I die cut the circle tags using white and black cardstock and then stamped my sentiment using the Fright Night stamp set. I love going through my older MCT stamps finding sentiments that I forget Miss Emma released :)
The tag was then tied onto the ribbon closure with a simple bow of the Orangesicle Trendy Twine.

To My Friend......MCT What a Treat Wednesday

Good Morning everyone!!!
It is time for another one of my FAVORITE days over at My Creative Time~
What a Treat Wednesday!
I am sure you are all familiar with this day but if you are not it is where the MCT DT makes a treat using of course the awesome MCT stamps and dies!!!
During release week for the new Stitched Starburst Dies, Miss Ruthie shared the CUTEST flower card HERE using these dies. She has since inspired me to use that same idea to make my sucker covers.
To make these, I used a cut file from the Silhouette store for my sucker base and cut it out using designer papers from Lawn Fawn. Next I cut the Starburst (Stitched Starburst Dies) for my flowers and used one of the smaller circles (Bunch of Fun Circle Dies) for the centers. Some leaves (Stitched Leaves Dies) in coordinating green paper which I also used to stamp the sentiment onto. The sentiment was stamped on the bottom layer of the Teeny Tag Die using the stamp set~ Hey There Little Lady.
Next I added that adorable lady bug~ also from the Hey There Little Lady set and colored her using my copic markers.
To finish my project off, I added suckers to the covers and tied it all together with some Totally White Trendy Twine.

What a Treat Wednesday...{My Creative Time}

Good Morning and Happy Hump Day!!!

 It is
What a Treat Wednesday  with MCT
where the DT makes any container, treat and/or packaging with My Creative Time stamps and dies!
So super fun considering I just LOVE to make holiday treats :)

I have a CUTE Christmas treat to share today. This is so super easy to make and would be a fun classroom party idea or even a great holiday gift to give to the kiddo's and their friends.

Check out my reindeer candy canes...... Aren't they the CUTEST?!?!?!
Lets take a closer look at how I made these..... You need a few items that I am sure most crafters have in their stash
~Hemp twine (brown)
~google eyes and a red small pom pom
Plus of course you need some Candy Canes
You start by wrapping the hemp twine around both candy canes so the hooks are facing outward. Wrap it tight but not so you crack the candy canes (I did that and then had to eat it..LOL)
Next using your hot glue gun, add the google eyes and red pom pom for the nose.
Using the sentiment from My Creative Time's Oh Deer stamp set~ I stamped it onto the die banner from Just Simply Live. I did stamp it closer to the edge so I could hole punch a tiny hole to add my Trendy Twine to attach it to the candy cane.
A simple bow to hold the tag in place and these treats are ready to bring a smile to someones face :)

What a Treat Wednesday w/ MCT {Tic Tac Containers}

Good Morning and Happy Hump Day!!!
 It is
What a Treat Wednesday  with MCT
where the DT makes any container, treat and/or packaging with My Creative Time stamps and dies!
So super fun considering I just LOVE to make holiday treats :)
For my project today, I made some Tic Tac stocking stuffers. My kiddos LOVE these and I always get a few packs to put in their stockings....so why not dress them up a bit for some added fun~ right?? Plus these make AWESOME teacher's gifts too for the holidays.
I ended up picking up some Cherry/Apple ones and some Candy Cane flavored ones for less that $1.50 a pack at Walmart the other day and before I even decorated the covers for them, my kids were calling claim to them...LOL!

Here they are up close....
 Decorating these do not have to take alot of time or be embellished a ton to make them fun and gift worthy. For this one I used candy cane striped paper and the adorable sentiment stamp from the A Day in December stamp set. I stamped it onto the Square Stitched Die using black ink and them die cut the teeny heart from the 4x4 Journal Die & More set. Tied closed with a pretty white sheer ribbon and this one was complete.

For the next one, I did them same thing just embellished it using the pine tree from the new Seasonal Greetings set.
I matched the green tree to the pattern paper, popped the tree up using some foam pop dots and added my sentiment, also popped up. The tag is from the Chunky Jar Accessories and fits the Teeny Tag Holidays sentiment perfectly!

Baby, It's Cold Outside.....{MCT What a Treat Wednesday}

Good Morning and Happy Hump Day!!!

It is going to be a super busy day here on my blog and FB~ I have 2 posts for you today
~What a Treat Wednesday with MCT HERE
and
~Peachy Keen Stamp new October Challenge HERE
PLUS
Peachy Keen has their new release starting at 10am and we are doing a fun FB hop HERE
I hope you will check out all of my projects :)

Now for today's projects! It is What a Treat Wednesday where the DT makes any container, treat and or packaging with My Creative Time stamps and dies!
So super fun considering I just LOVE to make holiday treats :)
While cruising Pinterest, I came across this project using Hersey Nuggets. I wanted to make my own version using my stamps and dies from MCT and this is what I came up with....
How super CUTE are these...right?? I totally got hooked and ended up making 5 BUT plan on making a bunch more!

For both of these I used the same packaging...clear pretzel bags that I cut down to the size I wanted. I topped each bag with the topper made from taking the XL Label Die and folding it in half...then layering the Stitched XL Label Die over it.
Then using one of the sentiments from the You're So Cool stamp set, I stamped both onto the topper. To close the bags up, I wrapped some Cherry Licorice Trendy Twine around the toppers and tied a bow. Some enamel dots (yes I know I am obsessed with them...LOL) and the toppers were done.
Now for the snow men, I stamped each piece of cardstock~ measuring 1x3 with my Peachy Keen Faces. I added some color using my chalk and copics as well as my white gel pen. Then for their adorable hats, I used the fingers from old gloves...you know the ones that seem to miss the other pair to make a set...LOL! We seem to have quite a few of those around...BUT these gloves can also be picked up at the Dollar Store :)
So I cut the fingers off each and then rolled up to make the mini hat. It was so adorable as is but for some extra cuteness I decided to make some matching Trendy Twine pom poms.
Totally completed this project I think!

What a Treat Wednesday w/ MCT {Halloween Nuggets}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to
What a Treat Wednesday
with My Creative Time!

Today the MCT DT will be sharing gift/candy container using of course My Creative Time stamps and dies!!
For my project today, I made some Halloween nugget packages. These would be so fun to hand out for a class party or to your Trick or Treaters!
Hope you like them!
One of my favorite things to do is make packaging treats. I LOVE adding these wrapped chocolate nuggets and then of course adding the perfect mix of MCT stamps and dies for the tag. These are very easy to do and mass produce in no time!
Here is a close-up of the tag I made.
I started out by die cutting a pieces of black cardstock for the base and layering a die cut white piece using the Just Tags die set. Next I cut the "spooky" sentiment out using the matching designer paper that I used to wrap my candies.
Layering the sentiment onto my tag in a semi diagonal way across my tag, I then added the stamped sentiment both on top and below the "spooky" cut.
Using the same Wicked Fun Dies set, I cut the largest of the bat dies out using another piece of black cardstock and popped him up onto my tag. Some random black enamel dots and my tag was complete.
Then to attach the tag onto my treat, I punched a hole into the top of the packaging and wrapped a double layer of Grape Fizz Trendy Twine, tying it off with a big bow.

Other Products Used:
