Spooky Treats just for You....{MCT Cook-N-Craft}

Good Morning everyone!

Today I am sharing a project for
MCT's Cook -N- Craft,
its an anything goes post day BUT we also share a favorite recipe.

Fall is my favorite time of year! The weather cools down, its football season and its
PUMPKIN time!!
Todays project and recipe is all about pumpkins so lets take a look at my project first!
Total cuteness when it comes to making your own pumpkin treat box! This easy to do project can be made with any color/design of cardstock.
For my project I found some scrap striped paper and used the Stitched Favor Box Die.
Next I stamped the sentiment using the new kit ~Frightful Greetings
For the stem of my pumpkin, I just die cut the top of the Stitched Favor Box in brown cardstock and layered it over the designer paper.
Finishing touches to my project~ I added a green leaf using the die from A Thankful Heart
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now onto my recipe.....
I LOVE pumpkin bread so I am sharing one of my favorites!
 Pumpkin Bread
Ingredients
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
4 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup water
3 cups white sugar
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour three 7x3 inch loaf pans.
In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, water and sugar until well blended. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger. Stir the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until just blended. Pour into the prepared pans.
Bake for about 50 minutes in the preheated oven. Loaves are done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
So I hope you have enjoyed my treat box and yummy recipe!
To My Lil' Pumpkin...{Trendy Twine DT Project}
Good Morning everyone!
It is my DT day over on the Trendy Twine Blog and
For my project today I followed the current Trendy Twine Challenge going on right now
and made some adorable pumpkin treats.
The challenge is....
Boo-tiful Treats recipe:
Halloween treat packaging with a tag
Trendy Twine**
And here are my lil' pumpkins!
 Aren't they just ADORABLE????? I just love them to pieces!!!!
 Here is how I made these.... I used a file I bought in the Silhouette Store called the 3d Pumpkin Petal Box and re~sized it  to make them mini...These measuring about 2". Once all the pieces were cut out, the box and the stem, I stamped onto the front my PK face, PK~550 Pumpkin Faces. I added some big pink cheeks and some white gel pen doodles and placed these aside to work on the tags.
For my tags, I used the die and stamp set from MCT, Teeny Tag Dies and Teenie Tag Holidays. I stamped it onto some white cardstock and for some added color to top of the box I die cut a leaf in the same green color as the twine using the MCT Stitched Leaves Dies. To put the tag onto the box, I wrapped some Lime Orangesicle Trendy Twine around the closed box on the stem. A sweet bow and the ends tied and my boxes are ready to give to my Lil' Pumpkins.
Isn't this twine color AWESOME? I just LOVE the ones with the added white twist. In my opinion this is one of the MUST have for all of your fall projects! Remember Thanksgiving is coming up and this would look super on all those projects as well!
Harvest Greetings.....{PKS Challenge 14-14}
Morning everyone!
Welcome to another fun Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge!!!!
Fall is in the air, the leaves are such a gorgeous color around here and it is almost Halloween time!!
It's the 15th of the month, which means the start of another Color/Photo Inspiration over at Peachy Keen Stamps!
Here is the inspiration picture....... They are beautiful ones!!!
And here is the card I made! My inspiration came from the  orange and brown colors and the picture of the pie :) Yummmmmm Pumpkin Pie...LOL!
Here is how I made this... I started with a kraft cardstock base and die cut 2 of the rectangle frames in designer paper. The bottom layer is wrapped with some Trendy Twine and taped to the base. the second layer is popped up using some foam squares for extra dimension.
Next I cut all the pieces of the  pumpkin pie using my cameo. I hid the face that came with the file so I could stamp my Peachy Keen Kawaii face! So cute!!!
Once all the pieces were die cut and the face was stamped, I put the image together, adding some foam dots to the whipped cream~again for added dimension.
I popped the whole image onto the card front and then added my sentiment.
When picking the sentiment for my card, I thought this card would go great with a home made pumpkin pie. Don't you?
To finish my card off I added some random enamel dots and again popped up the sentiment.
Lots of dimension and cuteness on this card!
Trick or Treat....Pumpkin Gift Set......{TKJ Color Challenge}
Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!!!
It is time for a new challenge over at
 The Kraft Journal!
And this week the challenge is:
 A Color Challenge
And here is my take on it.....
A few weeks ago I posted a Pumpkin Spice Creamer recipe/gift card (you can see the original post HERE) and wanted to finish another gift set to send to a friend.
I used both the colors and the picture of the pumpkins as my inspiration. I started out my card using a piece of Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock and added my layers of pattern paper using Simple Stories~ Take a Hike paper pack. After adding my signature machine stitching border, I wrapped some Kraft Wraphia Ribbon around the mat and tied it in a simple knot. Then using a White X-Small Tag and some Chit Chat Seasonal Word Stickers added "trick or treat" to the tag.  I then went ahead and using some Brown Earthy Hemp Cord , tied the tag to the Kraft Wrapia Ribbon
To finish up my card, I die cut a scalloped circle using the Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock and stamped the cute pumpkin on white cardstock for the center of the scallop.
To match my card, I made this beautiful decorated mason jar filled with the Pumpkin Spice Creamer. I used the same Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock  and designer papers, wrapped more of the Kraft Wrapia Ribbon around the lid of the jar and made a matching pumpkin tag that I tied onto the jar using some of the Brown Earthy Hemp Cord.
So there you have it....
my inspiration for this week's challenge.
I hope you have enjoyed my card and will play along with us!
As always I have linked all the supplies I used from The Kraft Outlet throughout my description.  If you have not checked out the store yet....make sure you do! There is so much available, the prices are so reasonable and shipping is super fast!!!
CI Paint~ Inspired By: Black and Orange
Good Morning Bloggers!!!
It is time for another fun
Inspired By Challenge
over at
Creative Inspirations Paint!!
This weeks Challenge~
Inspired By: Black and Orange
Since Halloween is right around the corner and my kiddo's LOVE to get yummy
treats, I made 2 gift bags for them filled with a Hershey Bar.
Just a little something to put in their lunches
So here they both are....I used Kraft bags from
The Kraft Journal and yes I know this is a stretch but their challenge this week is
Quick as a Bunny~ I used Tracy's tag as my inspiration~
Making a gift as well as using a tag...plus ribbon and twine
Here is a close-up of the first bag...
I received this adorable spiderweb from my crafty friend Nana over at
 and I knew I wanted to use it for something altered. I painted it with
Onxy CI Paints, attached some Trendy Twine in Black Licorice running the twine down to my adorable spider....Isn't he too cute with those googly eyes??
Since he was alittle different color than the orange in my ribbon and stamping, I painted his
legs with Pumpkin CI Paint
Love that chevron border I added on the bottom??
I used The Alley Way Stamps~Cover Up set
and Distress ink in Rusty Hinge and Black Soot
For my sentiment I used CI Paints Deliquesce Black Embossing Powder,
 My Creative Time~Mixed Holiday Sentiments and stamped it on the Tiny Tag die
all attached with a clip that was purchased from The Kraft Journal and 3 Girl Jam crinkle ribbon in Tuxedo and Harvest Orange
Here is a close-up of the second bag...
Again most of the products are the same...the only things different in this bag is I used
The Alley Way Stamps~Jibber Jabber set for the polka dot border
The Alley Way Stamps~Ghoul Friend Set for the ghost
CI Paints in Fairy Dust for the ghost (you can see the shimmer the paints make by the glare from the picture..LOL)
and chipboard letters painted in pumpkin.
I hope you like my treat bags and will play along with us over at
Creative Inspirations Paint!
Remember you do not need CI Paints on your project but if you have them we would
LOVE to see how you use them!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT day!!!
