Good Morning everyone!
Today I am sharing a project for
MCT's Cook -N- Craft,
its an anything goes post day BUT we also share a favorite recipe.
Fall is my favorite time of year! The weather cools down, its football season and its
PUMPKIN time!!
Todays project and recipe is all about pumpkins so lets take a look at my project first!
Total cuteness when it comes to making your own pumpkin treat box! This easy to do project can be made with any color/design of cardstock.
For my project I found some scrap striped paper and used the Stitched Favor Box Die.
Next I stamped the sentiment using the new kit ~Frightful Greetings
For the stem of my pumpkin, I just die cut the top of the Stitched Favor Box in brown cardstock and layered it over the designer paper.
Finishing touches to my project~ I added a green leaf using the die from A Thankful Heart

I LOVE pumpkin bread so I am sharing one of my favorites!
Pumpkin Bread
Ingredients
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
4 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup water
3 cups white sugar
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour three 7x3 inch loaf pans.
In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, water and sugar until well blended. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger. Stir the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until just blended. Pour into the prepared pans.
Bake for about 50 minutes in the preheated oven. Loaves are done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
