To My Little Firecracker....{MCT Made in Minutes}

If you are new to my blog MIM is where we create something that could be created quickly or mass produced.

I love the new Pretty Treat Topper and since the 4th of July is just around the corner, I thought I would share a quick and easy celebration gift. **Remember if you are making something similar using Sparklers to be CAREFUL! Children should be supervised if playing with these**

Here is a closeup of the topper.

I used white cardstock as the base and added a layer of blue star designer paper.

The stars are from the 3 Star Stitched Dies set and I die cut those out onto red cardstock.

The sentiment, from the set~ My Little Firecracker, was stamped onto a Stitched Zig Zag Die.

Some random pearls completed my party favor.

To My Little Firecracker.......{MCT Anything Goes}

Good Morning everyone!

I am sharing a card today for My Creative Time's

Anything Goes Thursday!

Since the 4th of July is just around the corner, I made a cute celebration card using the newly released set~ Scalloped Stitched Circle

For my card I used designer paper from Doodlebug Designs~Patriotic Parade and even pulled out my prismacolor pencils!
To make this card I started with an A2 size card base, added a layer of white cardstock and then die cut the designer paper using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.
Next I die cut the circle and then the matching scalloped circle using the new set~ Scalloped Stitched Circles. The circle die cut was through the designer paper, the scalloped circle was with some matching navy cardstock from my stash.
The sentiment, from the set~ My Little Firecracker was stamped inside the circle and then the matching firecracker was stamped and colored using my prismacolor pencils.
Some added star die cuts from the 3 Star Stitched Dies were added for some extra details.
So there is my completed card....what do you think???

MCT 63rd New Release BIG Reveal & Blog Hop

For my project, I get to showcase the following sets~

Small Treat Labels (FREEBIE) & Treat Holder Die 

and here are the projects I made using these sets....

I couldn't help but make 2 more projects for today~ I just LOVE this release!!!!
My first project is a cutie perfect for Valentine's Day.
I added several MCT stamps and dies for this one and again used the new Small Treat Labels for the tag on my cellophane.
The Treat Holder was die cut using some pattern polka dot black cardstock and embellished with the heart dies from the Stitched Belly Band Dies.
Next I used the Hey There Little Lady set for the lady bug and colored her in using my copics. I also used the same set for the "love bug" sentiment and paired it up with the "to my" sentiment from the set You Make My Heart Smile.
Some small red bling and a double Trendy Twine bow for my treat bag completed this project!

My second treat holder is another just because project that could be used for any special event~ graduation (using the school colors), a show performance treat for a school play, or just to show someone how special they are!
I used beautiful designer star paper from my stash and for this sentiment, I layered just the top new die from the Small Treat Labels onto the largest of the 3 Star Stitched Dies.
The sentiment used for this one came from the set~ Shine Like the Stars and fits perfectly onto the label. 
To finish up this treat, I added one of the smaller stars to the top of my cellophane bag directly on top of a Totally White Trendy Twine bow.

You're My Superstar....MCT Manly Monday

Good Morning everyone and welcome to 

My Creative Time's 

Manly Monday!

For today's card I went with one of my favorite stamp sets~ You're My Hero and paired the sentiment up with the fun star dies and the newly released Ribbon End Banners to make some shooting stars. A perfect compliment for the sentiment don't you think??

Since this is a masculine card, I wanted to keep my card on the more simpler side. I found this star paper from Echo Park and die cut the stars out using some glittery black cardstock. I know glitter isn't really masculine but stars do twinkle and this cardstock definitely gives that look. The shooting star part comes from the new banner dies...thinking outside the box a little on this and I really love the way it turned out! 

A few random gray enamel dots and my card was complete. Oh yeah, I did finish the inside of the card as well (you can kinda see a bit of it in the picture too)

MCT 51st New Release Sneak Day 1

How cool is that new post it paper die, push pin and sentiment? 
I used these new dies to make a masculine card that would be awesome for a just because card. I started with my favorite~ the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die and made a border by using the next size smaller one and die cutting it out of blue cardstock. I layered that over some designer paper to make a bulletin board. Next I grabbed some star dies for my embellishment  to place behind my focal point~ the new stamps and dies. I finished my card off my adding some random enamel dots as well as decorated the inside!

MCT 49th New Release BIG Reveal & Blog Hop!

For my project today, I get to showcase the new set~

Date Night
Here is what I made.....

Today is the opening of the new Hunger Games movie~Mockingjay P2 and I am taking my son tonight to see it! Both of these featured new release sets are PERFECT for my movie night date with him! To make my card I used the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies for my card mat and embellished it using the adorable new Date Night stamps and dies. Since it is all about the stars when it comes to movies...I added some matching pattern paper 3 Star Stitched Dies and finished off the front with some Totally Black Trendy Twine and some enamel dots.

Now for the big reveal..LOL! Open the card up and the super FUN new Stitched Pop~Up Die reveals a gift card. Since my card is a standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 the Stitched Gift Card Pocket Die works PERFECTLY on the new Stitched Pop~Up Die!!

I embellished the inside of my card again using the stamps and dies from the new Date Night stamp/die set as well as stamping a spot to add all the details on the movie using the Let's Celebrate stamp set! I am totally in LOVE with these new releases and look forward to using all of these for the upcoming gift giving season!!!!!

MCT Favorite Stamp/Die of the Month~ Springtime in Paris

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Here is the card I made using one of the sentiments from this set.....

I found this great card on Pinterest that I used as my inspiration for this card. I am trying to find the pin again so I can link back to it too. I of course forgot to pin it to my board so if and when I find it I will add it here!

Anyways for my card I used the newly released Stitched Squares Inside and Out for the focal point of this card. I backed the cut outs with some designer paper from My Minds Eye and then stamped the sentiment from the Springtime in Paris set.

Some enamel dots and 2 Stitched Stars finished up my card.
