Happy Birthday Adam...Pokemon Style :)

Today is Adam's Birthday. He is now 6 and he is the son of my closest friend.
For his birthday he wanted a Pokemon Notebook to write all his secrets, battle plans and everyday 6 year old things in.
After searching the web for Pokemon SVG files I came across Mardenz blog. There are GREAT files and she did have a few Pokemon ones.
So I made him his own special notebook and matching gift bag.
This is the first time I have decorated a gift bag and I really love the way it came out!
Anyways the notebook is a composition book covered in black cardstock. I cut each of the four pokemon through SCAL as well as his name.
The book was missing something when my son told me that each of the characters stood for something....that is how the fire, water, electric and earth came to be. They are stickers and added the perfect finish to the book.

That is all I have for tonight..for some reason I am really tired and completely unmotivated to do much of anything. Have a great night and see you all tomorrow :)

  4. Started surfing your blog and came across the Pokemon images. I painted 9 of these images "larger than life" for my son on his bedroom walls for a Christmas present years ago...took me a full week. Anyhow, this son grew up and we painted over them....a momentous occasion! Your card brought back fond memories!
