Toucan Do It.......{TAWS}

Good Morning Everyone!!

It is my DT day over at The Alley Way Stamps

and I have a card to share that I made using this week's 

CAS(E) this Sketch

and the newly released Tropical Hideaway stamp set

Hope you like it :)

I used a bunch of scrap papers from my stash, designer paper from Echo Park's~ A Perfect Summer, In the Navy Trendy Twine (which is on sale this month!! Check it out HERE) and the adorable Toucan and sentiment from the Tropical Hideaway stamp set.

Class of 2013.........{The Kraft Journal}

Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!!!

It is time for a new challenge over at

 The Kraft Journal!

This week's challenge is... 

Clean and Simple or CAS

and anyone who know me and my style, knows that this is one of my favorites!!!

Anyways it is graduation season so I thought I would get a jump on making some graduation cards...Here is one of I am sure a few more to come :)

So here is what I did.... I started out with a Brown Kraft Cardstock base and added a mat of black and white cardstock (all from my stash). I had this beautiful paper kit from "DCVW~ Graduation" that I used to layer the bottom of my mat. To cover the break from the pattern paper and white cardstock, I added some Black Twill Tape, a double bow of Natural Hemp Cord and embellished with a Custom Fastener  blinged out with some gold stickles.

Finally I used My Creative Time~Follow Your Dreams stamp set for the sentiment and numbers. 

So there you have it....my inspiration for this week's challenge.

I am popping in to share another~ yup another Non~DT project but instead a graduation card to enter into a bunch of fun challenges going on right now...

Keeping up with the weekly Peachy Keen Challenges, this one is a sketch challenge as seen below

And here is my card...... I hope you like it!

What do you think??? I had a blast making this one, knowing that I wanted to use one of my new Peachy Keen Stamps (I took advantage of their Memorial Day Sale and got a bunch of new sets....so exciting!!) This one is PK~126 Smartie The Owl...such a cutie!

How adorable right??? I also bought their SVG file for him so I cut him out using my cameo stamped him and then paper pieced him using Echo Park~ A Boy's Life. For his eyes and his beak, I did add a bit of copic marker color as well as for his tassel on his cap.

The sentiment is also from that same PK set and I stamped it on the 

My Creative Time~Frame Die  (from the Just Simply Live Stamp set)

For my numbers, I used some cork board sticker backed paper I picked up a while ago from Micheal's and forgot I had,  and die cut them using  My Creative Time~ Circle die (from the Build a Banner set). Since I didn't know how well certain inks would show up when stamping on the cork board...I just went straight to the Stazon and stamped the numbers using My Creative Time~Circle Font Stamp Set

Then before putting the whole card front onto my Kraft Card stock base, I ran it through my sewing machine and added some In the Navy Trendy Twine which happens to be on sale along with a bunch of other awesome colors perfect for June and July holidays!!

Good Morning Everyone!!

It is my DT day over at The Alley Way Stamps

and I have a card to share that I made using this week's 

Mojo Monday Sketch and the adorable new release Bot Time stamp set

Hope you like it.......

What do you think?? 

I used one of the cute robots and colored him with my copic markers. Then added a bit of glossy accents to his eyes and "controls". Using the gears and embellishments (also from the stamp set) I stamped them on some silvery paper and cut them out. The chipboard letters came from my stash and the sentiment is also from the set. I stamped that onto the My Creative Time Vintage Stitched Label die and popped it up using some foam pop dots. 

Couldn't leave out the machine stitching :)

Here is my card and hopefully some more inspiration

With Memorial Day just passing, Flag Day and the 4th of July quickly approaching, this inspiration photo was the perfect on to use with the new release Good Point stamp set.

I stamped several times the arrow with the stars into a chevron pattern and then colored a few of the stars within each stamped image using my copic markers. To keep the card on the CAS design but still add some addition red/white and blue colors I added some Trendy Twine in one of my FAVORITE twists~ Stars and Stripes.

Finally I stamped my sentiment using the Wish BIG stamp set and attached all my layers onto my Kraft Cardstock base.

For my project I used the freebie stamp set for this month~
Lemon Squeezy
and made this cute gift tag~treat bag

I started with my PTI tag and stamped the sentiment on the bottom...Then using the adorable lemon, stamped it once on white cardstock and then again on pattern paper. Cutting out the pieces I wanted and then gluing them to the lemon, I popped it up on the tag.
To add just a but more to the tag, I stamped the little juice squeezes, colored them using copic and then added some glossy accents.
For the bag, I used a small glassine bag from The Kraft Outlet, embossed it and then added another stamped juice squeeze.
Finally I attached the tag using an eyelet and tying a double bow using some
 Lemon Tart Trendy Twine.
Wouldn't this make a cute treat for a summer picnic party????

Wish You Were Here.....{Trendy Twine & TAWS}

Good Morning Bloggers!!!

It is my design team day for Trendy Twine and I am so excited to share my card...

All month the DT has been showcasing the gorgeous Trendy Twine colors of the month

Tickled with Teal and Twisted Teal 

and mixing our projects with Kraft (one of my favorite go to colors!)

And for even more fun within the Trendy Twine DT, a few of us have been sharing projects using The Alley Way Stamps too.... So today I get to share them both!

It just happens to be Day 3 of sneaks for the 

June stamps being released from 

The Alley Way Stamps

and I have incorporated my sneak into my Trendy Twine DT project using the soon to be released 

Tropical Hideaway

stamp set......
Here is my card.....this so makes me want to hit the beach :)

My card starts with a Kraft card stock base and I added a mat of designer paper from Echo Park~Paradise Beach paper pack. I stamped the sentiment and then ran the mat through my sewing machine and attached it all to my card base. Then using the surf board, I stamped it 2 times on matching designer paper from the same stack and then 4 times on the kraft cardstock. I cut the surf boards and then the center circles out, then grabbed some 

Tickled with Teal Trendy Twine and attached it to the center of both surf boards. I popped up the kraft center and glued them both on my card.

I could have stopped there but thought my card needed something more so I decided to add some more dimension and make my own cords. I used more Tickled with Teal Trendy Twine and some jump rings. 

They look pretty cool don't you think????

Makes you want to hit the beach...right :)
