MCT.... New Release Blog Hop!!!

Good Morning and Welcome to the My Creative Time

July New Release Blog Hop!

Before we get along to the hop I want to send a HUGE Thank You to Miss Emma for having me as a Guest Designer for this new release as well as the ENTIRE DT for all the support and awesome comments you all left me. It is such an honor to design with an AMAZING and TALENTED bunch of ladies!!!

Now that all the mushy stuff is out of the way.....You should be hopping along from the very talented

Veronica

If you just popped in to say hello, I am the last stop along the hop so make sure you head on back to

Emma's!

You will not want to miss a thing!

Hopefully you didn't miss any of the last 5 days of sneaks.... Here is a sample of all the projects I created.

I have had a blast using all these stamps and dies, both the new release and the older sets so when I saw this week's sketch from Mojo Monday I knew the MCT products that would be a PERFECT match for this sketch!

And since I needed a birthday card for one of my son's friends, I incorporated it all and came up with this... Hope you like it!

So what do you think? Isn't it perfect for a 12 year old boy? And since making masculine cards are always a challenge for everyone...including myself, I knew using the dies from MCT would make it that much easier.

Pretty Papers.......{TKJ}~~~~{2nd Post}

Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!!!

~if you are looking for Day 4 of the My Creative Time July Release Sneak please click HERE or scroll down to the next post~

It is time for a new challenge over at

 The Kraft Journal!

And this week we want to see your

Pretty Papers

I LOVE pretty papers and tend to hoard them...LOL! Don't we all right??? So for my card today I used the sketch from Deconstructed Sketch #109 and made a Christmas Card. Hope you like it!

And came up with this card...... Hope you like it!

I started out with a Brown Kraft Cardstock base and added some layers of designer paper from My Mind's Eye~All is Bright . You know me..I couldn't let my card go without some added stitching, so I ran my mat through my sewing machine adding zig zags between each of my different pretty papers.

Next using my Cameo I cut 2 circles, one in the brown kraft cardstock and the other in the matching designer paper to stamp my sentiment from

My Creative Time~Just For You.

I further embellished my card using some Cream Twill Tape, Red Metallic Twist Hemp Cord , some felt flowers and leaves from my stash and a gold blinged up Custom Fastener.

So there you have it....my inspiration for this week's challenge.

I hope you have enjoyed my card and will play along with us!

As always I have linked all the supplies I used from The Kraft Outlet throughout my description.  If you have not checked out the store yet....make sure you do! There is so much available, the prices are so reasonable and shipping is super fast!!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT Monday!!

Santa's Bakery.......{PKS Challenge}

Whoo Hooo! It's the weekend!
Super excited to hang low this weekend, get some crafting in for the upcoming week and spend LOTS of family time.

I have had an exciting week on the blog....I have the honor of being the Guest Designer for

My Creative Time for Emma's new July Release!

If you haven't checked out the first 3 days of sneaks you can do so here

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

And here is what the upcoming week looks like, Day 4 and Day 5 of sneaks will resume on Monday and Tuesday followed by the New Release Blog Hop on Wednesday! I hope you will all come back for all of it!!!

Now onto my project for today. I wanted to play along with the new
Peachy Keen Stamps challenge
and will also link this up to a bunch of other challenges but here is what PKS is asking for this week.....

Peachy Keen Challenge 13-28 :: 3-D Objects :: Wrap It In Ribbon
And here is what I came up with. Hope you like it!!!

I purchased this cute 3D cookie box from the Silhouette store and had not had a chance to cut it until now.....And with the July SOTM stamps it was just calling to be made into a Christmas treat box. Since I have no Christmas cookies to add to this yet, I will save it for when I do and probably give it to one of the teachers as a gift.

I used quite a few stamps from the new release as well as the matching SVG files~ wow they make using these stamps so easy with those!! After laying out how I wanted my box to look, I cut the box part using some Recollection papers and then used the stamps to do some paper piecing and copic coloring~all with the matching papers, lots of stickles and some foam pop dots.

Then to tie it all together, I wrapped the box using some Holly Berry crinkle ribbon and some Candy Cane Trendy Twine. My treat box could not go without a cute tag, so using the new release Tag Die and Stitched Round Tab from My Creative Time, I added my sentiment from PKS July SOTM set as well as another paper pieces Holly leaf.

So what do you think??? Would look adorable packed with some Christmas cookies right????
Well that is all I have for you today.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT night!!!!

Can you tell all the fun MCT stamps and dies I used??? There are several....
