Tag You're It! {The Kraft Journal}

Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!!

It is time for a new challenge over at The Kraft Journal!

Before I share the challenge and my project I want to say

Speaking of challenges....this week's challenge is....

Tag You're it!

we want to see all those fun tags which brings me to my project.....

I made this fun tag ....Hope you like it!!

Isn't this a fun tag??? 

I bought this stamp set~ Java Time from Jaded Blossom especially for this project (since I knew I was joining the team I was thinking ahead...LOL)

So I started out with a mini burlap tag and cut a piece of Brown Kraft Cardstock to the same size to attach to the back of the tag....That way I can still write a message to the recipient. 

I then stamped the adorable image onto another piece of Brown Kraft Cardstock and colored her partly using my copics and some white gel pen.

Using some Red with White Polka Dots washi tape, I washi pieced....Ha a new term... her hair bow and coffee mug. 

How adorable did this turn out!!!

I know I will me washi piecing alot more!!!

Here is a close-up of the sentiment from the same Jaded Blossom set...I just added it to a banner die cut from My Creative Time~ Vintage Stitched Label Die after I distressed the edges with my Ink Blending Tool and some gathered twigs distress ink.

Here is the completed project with the tag attached to the Small Kraft Coffee Bag w/Window using a Hinge Clip.

Here is my card and hopefully some more inspiration.....

I used the colors green and blue from the photo as my inspiration as well as the green lines running through the picture.

I wanted my card to have the sentiment as the front and center so trying a new technique (at least for me)

I stamped the sentiment from All About You using Memento Tuxedo Black ink as well as Midnight and Moss ColorBox Ink. I am sure there is an easier way to do this but I ended using inking each section then stamping the whole image. It took me several tries....because either one color didn't stamp clearly or one color ended up mixing with another....BUT after all the tries I finally got it to stamp to where I was happy with it :)

Once the sentiment was completed I matted it on Bazzill card stock and ran some decorative stitching around as a frame.

Pulling out my container of washi tape I added this fun pattern along the bottom and to cover the edge I added some green buttons from my stash.

So I have a card to share for the December Challenge over at the 

Peachy Keen Connection.

The first challenge was to make a card with a "drink" on it as well as use your PKS.

Here is my card...

(I am trying SOOOO hard to take better pictures....I am slowly getting there so bear with me)

I made this with LOTS of texture and tried to use some "other" items
that I forget I have.... like washi tape and the corrugated paper
I used My Creative Time's~ Coffee Break stamp set with the matching layering die.
LOVE this fun set!!
After die cutting and paper piecing the coffee cup I cut the cup sleeve out using wool felt.
I have seen people use felt and stamp on it so I thought I would give it a try....
Well....

Here is how it turned out! Adorable I think!!
I used Stazon Black ink and it stamped beautifully!!
So for the actual face I used the bumble bee face from the Cottage Cutz Bugs set.

What do you think?
With a gift card inside I think this would make a CUTE gift.

My anniversary is coming up in a few weeks and I wanted to get a jump on a card
