Congrats You Did It.....{MCT Made in Minutes}

 Good Morning everyone!

I am up on the MCT Blog today with a Made in Minutes project to share!

This project was so fast to make, super cute and is super easy to reproduce for all those graduations that are quickly coming up!

For my project today I made a graduation tag for my son who will be graduating from HS in a few weeks. Since his school colors are red and black I did the tag in those colors BUT something like this is so easy to match with any school colors!

I used the Tall Tag Frame Die in black cardstock and added a layer of white cardstock die cut with the Tall Tag Frame Die Layers set.

For the polka dots I used the new Cute Bubble Cover Die as a stencil and colored in almost all the circles with red and black ink.

For the sentiments, I used the Big Word Dies, cut in red and black cardstock and popped that up onto the front of the tag. For the smaller sentiment, I used the Big Word Sentiment set and added it under the "congrats"

A tassel topper completed my tag!

Graduation Keychain....{MCTTag it Tuesday!}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to 

MCT's Tag it Tuesday post!

With graduation season upon us, and me having a HS graduate in a few short weeks I have a fun project to share.

Take a look and let me know what you think....

For my project I embroidered a keychain with my sons school letters and their colors. BUT I couldn't just give him the keychain without a small tag to show him just how much I am proud of all his accomplishments.
To make my tag, I used Chunky Tag Dies, cut in white and kraft cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment using the Have a Super Day stamp set. With this being a graduation tag, I added the small grad cap die from the Grad Night set and added a "red" tassel using some Nuvo Enamel.
This tag was a perfect size to tie onto the keychain with some ribbon and makes for a great graduation gift.

And here is my inspiration using the new stamp and die set...

I have a HS graduate in June so this set is perfect for making my party favors.

To make my lollipop holder I used my sons school colors and HS for my treat!

The lollipop holder was die cut using some textured cardstock and layered with the matching pieces to the set in white and red.

The sentiment was stamped and die cut using the new Best Day Ever set and the letters are from the Lowercase Fun Dies set.

I tied the lollipop holder die together with some red ribbon attaching the sentiment right above the bow.

The HS lettering fit perfectly one the bottom of the lollipop holder too!

And here is my inspiration using this adorable new stamp and die set...

My son graduates from High School this June and when I first saw this set and the congrats sentiment, I thought of all the pretty tags I could make for him and his friends.  Can you guess their school colors...LOL

To make my tag, I die cut both the top layer and bottom layer in the red and black cardstock, layered them up and then went about decorating the tag.

This new set has so many great sentiments that are perfect for a variety of celebrations. I added the "lines" stamp to the top layer of the tag, stamped the "grad" sentiment using the Grad Night set and popped up a matching grad hat.

The new banner and "congrats" sentiment were then added to the tag and I finished off this by added some of the cute heart die cuts, also from the new set.

Some trendy twine to the top of the tag makes this ready to give.

Create Your Own Future....{MCT Tag It Tuesday}

Good Morning everyone!!

It's Tag It Tuesday and I am sharing an inspirational tag using the newest release Stamp/Die set~ CREATE. 
If you didn't get to hop with the DT this past weekend when MCT and Miss Emma released this set you can always go back and check out the FABULOUS projects created with this HERE
With graduation season upon us I thought this tag would be so fun to add to a graduation gift bag. 
I used the Tag Dies and Tag Die Layers for the tag base. Next I pulled out an older MCT stamp/die set~The Sky is the Limit and stamped the balloon on some designer paper from My Minds Eye. I die cut the balloon out and popped it up onto my tag using some foam squares.
The CREATE die cut as well as the matching sentiment is from the new release! Dont you just LOVE that sentiment???
I did pop up the CREATE sentiment again with some foam and finished off my tag with some white crinkle ribbon.

MCT 42nd New Release Blog Hop!

I am so excited about this release!!! All the new stamps and dies are just AWESOME!! So for my project today I get to showcase the fun new Bunch of Stitched Stars dies and the You're My Hero stamp set. Since graduation season is fast approaching, I thought I would share a quick and easy graduation gift (this one happens to be for my son who will be graduating 8th grade and moving into the High School next year~YIKES!!!

I LOVE pairing up Miss Emma's older products with new releases! Here I used the MUST have Embossed Gift Card Holder and heat embossed the sentiment from the new release~You're My Hero. Then using one of the new Bunch of Stitched Star dies, I layered it onto the front of my gift card. Since it is a graduation card, I added the adorable graduation cap popped up onto the center of the star. Some Wink of Stella glitter on the star (which I am sorry you can't see the sparkle) and my gift card is done!

Here's Looking At You

For my next project I made a matching lollipop holder. Another MUST have party die for your stash!!!

I started by die cutting the Stitched Lollipop Holder in black cardstock. I then die cut one of the larger stars in the designer paper. To get the cut out in the lollipop holder, I placed the pattern paper star over the lollipop holder and then using a smaller star die cut though all the layers.  I placed my yummy Original Gourmet Lollipop into the holder and then tied it closed with some Totally White Trendy Twine. To finish off my holder, I used the tag die from last month's release~ Fun Stitched Tag Dies and stamped the sentiment onto the tag. I popped it up over the star and my project was complete!!

Tag it Tuesday w/MCT....{Graduation Theme}

Good Morning and welcome to 

Tag it Tuesday w/My Creative Time!

For those of you who may be new to this, it's when we make any project using a tag. 

Today the DT will be sharing Graduation tags using of course all the great My Creative Time stamps and dies that Miss Emma has to offer.
Here is the tag I made....I just LOVE how it turned out!

I made this for my son who is moving up from the elementary school to middle school next year. His school colors are red/gray and black so that was the color combo I went with.

 I used several MCT products and will have them all linked in the supply list at the bottom of the post.

Here is a close up of the tag. I scrap~lifted the idea of adding the Fun Stitched Edge border to the side of my Tag Die from my sweet friend and DT sister Cindy :)
That adorable teddy bear cut is one I picked up from the Silhouette store and I added one of my PKS Teddy Bear faces to him. 

One more angle of my tag, this one showing all the dimension I added to both the teddy bear cut and the sentiment. I used the MCT Stitched Square Speech Bubble die and stamped the "congrats" from the Follow Your Dream stamp set. Some Trendy Twine finishing touches on the tassel, diploma and the top of the tag and it was all done.
