Espressily for you!...{MCT Birthday Palooza}

My Creative Time Birthday Palooza post day!

Today I am sharing a fun birthday card using some of the older MCT stamps and dies along with the new Torn Paper Frame Layers and Torn Paper Frames :)

For my card today I made a shaker, something I haven't made in a LONG time and forgot how fun these interactive cards are. I made this one for my son's girlfriends birthday this coming weekend to add to her coffee themed birthday gift. I sure hope she loves it!

Anyways to make my card I started with a black cardstock base and then using the Just Brew It set I stamped the coffee cups randomly onto a piece of white cardstock. Using my copic markers I colored in the sleeves to each cup and die cut the whole finished piece using the newly released Torn Paper Frame Layers. I also used a smaller die from the same set to make my window.

Inside the window and for the shaker part, I added colored sequins in a pretty pale pink, black and pale green, sealing the window up with some acetate sheets.

I popped the shaker up onto the card base, adding a matching colored twine bow around the top.

For the sentiment, I used again both the Torn Paper Frame and Layers sets and stamp from Just Brew It which was added to the card front.

I stamped and colored one more coffee cup and die cut that so I could add it to the center of the window, adding additional details to the cup with the cute sentiment and die cut in a pale green.

Some finishing touches of random sequins finished my card!

Besides using the Cute Mugs sentiment on my project, I also used the new Pretty Gift Card Holder to make a coffee gift card. I just love this sentiment so pairing it up with the coffee cup stamp and die from the Coffee Break set and adding the heart die cut from the Cute Mugs set makes this a sweet gift card to give to a friend!

May Your Mornings Be Brew-tiful....{MCT Weird Holidays}

Good morning and welcome to another
MCT Weird Holiday post.
My weird holiday is actually not so weird..LOL
on May 6th it is National Beverage Day
Curious about what exactly this holiday is all about~ 

 you can read all the details about the day HERE
So of course I love a good cup of coffee in the morning so my card is focused around that...
Take a look and let me know what you think~

I went CAS with my card using the color combo kraft pink and white.
Everything for my card was made using the adorable set~Just Brew It
I stamped the background with both the large and small coffee beans and versamark ink.

The coffee cup was stamped onto white cardstock and then die cut. I did add some pink chalk to the cheeks as well. She was then popped up onto the front of the card.
The sentiment was stamped under the adorable cup and then to finish up my card I added some pink hearts and some pink and kraft twine.

Kindness

and here is my inspiration.....

I used the new Kindness set to make a sweet gift card..how fun would this be to randomly share with someone?!?!

I used the Embossed Gift Card Holder as the base and added a layer of white and designer paper to the top of the holder. 

I stamped the sentiment using the new Kindness set as well as for adding the adorable face to my coffee cup and the random hearts.

The coffee cup is from the We're Better Together set and I used both the die and the stamp popping the whole cup up onto the front of the gift card.

To finish off my gift card, I added the "TO" and "FROM" using the You Deserve a Break set

MCT 73rd New Release Sneak Day 2

Good Morning everyone!!!
It is Day 2 of sneaks for the
73rd New Release from My Creative Time!

OMG wait until you see today's sneaks and projects...you are going to FLIP!

Introducing....

Just Brew It!

Ok so I am totally LOVING this set and my card....take a look and let me know what you think!

Are those little latte cups not the CUTEST EVER!!!! I just had to use that adorable sentiment and pair it up with a double dose of those die cut cups!!!
I started my card out with a Stitched Rectangular Frame Die card mat of designer paper from DoodleBug Designs~Here Comes Santa Claus.
Next I die cut the cups in kraft, white and matching designer paper so I could paper piece each one. One cup did get the cute new stamped face where I placed a die cut heart on the other one! They were both popped up onto the front of the card just above my stamped sentiment.
The finishing touch for this card was 2 more matching die cut hearts!
LOVE this card!!!

Happy Pumpkin Spice Season.....{MCT Trending Now}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to another

"Trending Now" with My Creative Time!!

Today's trending now is "Fall Harvest"

The DT was asked to make anything that has to do with fall.

Well fall I think is my favorite time of the year~ know why??

PUMPKIN season!!!!

My inspiration comes from all things pumpkin, especially Pumpkin Coffee!!

Take a look at my card and let me know what you think......

I made my card using several stamp/die sets.
I started with my favorite, the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die for the top layer of my card and layered it on a piece of white cardstock and a kraft A2 size card base.
Next I stamped my sentiment using the Gobble Gobble set.
The focal point of my card is that adorable coffee cup from the set~ We're Better Together. I did add the die cut pumpkin to the cup from the Mini Lolly Add-Ons. The little leaf I also added to the pumpkin is from the new set~ Build a Fall Wreath.
To finish up my card, I added a gold thread nest behind the cup and some matching green and orange sequins.
A sweet fall card for a pumpkin spice fan!!

and here is the card I made using it....

I made a coffee inspired birthday card using the new sentiment and those adorable coffee bean dies! I paired both up with one of my favorites~ the coffee cup from the set~ We're Better Together. Some inking using a Tim Holtz stencil and the added hearts die cuts from the new release as well completed my card.

As you can see peeking out from the inside, I used the Stitched Gift Card Pocket Die to hold a GC for that special birthday present!
