Already Missing You......{MCT Inspire Me Wednesday}

Good Morning everyone!

It's time for another

My Creative Time Inspire Me Wednesday.

If you are new to my blog or to what Inspire Me Wednesday is all about, it is

where the DT makes a project of our choice based on an inspiration subject.

My inspiration comes from the current

 MCT Designers Challenge Sketch and Photo Inspiration

There is still plenty of time to get creating and play along!!

For my card I used both the sketch and I pulled colors from the photo inspiration and designed this card.

I flipped the sketch just a bit to add the new Stitched Doily Die in front of the banner piece. I wanted the pretty papers to be seen more as well as the details on the doily die.

Both the sentiment and that adorable flamingo are from the newly released Already Missing You stamp and die set! I just love that Emma is adding dies with all of her adorable images!!!

Welcome Baby.....{Scrapping the Little Things w/MCT}

Good Morning and Welcome to another Scrapping the Little Things with My Creative Time!
After this past week of amazing sneaks from the DT and another AWESOME new release, I used the new Hello Baby and Bunch of Stitched Doily Dies as my theme for this months PL cards. 

For my cards, I used designer paper from Lori Whitlock's~All About a Boy. As you can see I used several additional MCT goodies to help highlight those CUTIE new release stamp and dies!
Section 1 is simple 4X4 card which I added the baby onsie too. In addition to that die, I did add a small Stitched Star to the center.
The next section I used the Bracket Die as a place for my sentiment then left a nice sized space to add a picture. Finally for that 4X4 card I added the cutie baby cow which I colored with my copics.
To finish off my PL cards, I used the small 2X2 die and added 4 of the small Stitched Doily Dies. Then using the Uppercase Alphabet Dies, I spelled out the word BABY.

MCT 44th New Release Reveal & Blog Hop!!!

This week has been so much fun with the DT sharing amazing projects and inspiration! But we have one more day of AWESOME~NESS!

You are not going to want to miss a thing! She really ROCKED this release (well she always does, doesn't she?? Of course!!)

I am so excited to share my cards I made today using this releases FREEBIE die set

Baby Word Die  along with the AWESOME Hello Baby  Set.

My first card is a baby boy shaker card using that cutie giraffe stamp and matching die set. I ended up using the Doily Die for the shaker part of my card and die cutting a circle into the center of the doily using one of the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies. After filling the shaker with some yellow and brown sequins, closing up the shaker and wrapping some Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine around the whole card front, I started working on the front of my card. I die cut the giraffe and stamped him onto the die cut. Next I colored him with my copic markers and popped him up onto the front of my card. For the sentiment, I die cut the Baby Word Die in the matching brown cardstock and placed the sentiment on a slight diagonal so I could stamp the rest of my sentiment both above and below it.

I couldn't make a baby boy card without making a cutie baby girl card too...LOL so for this one I used the oh so adorable elephant! A completely different card LO for this one but I went about stamping and coloring the image the same way as well as the positioning of the sentiment. For the center border piece I did use the Rectangular Frame Die and just made the piece smaller to fit the image and sentiment. Some matching enamel dots and some Pinkberry Sorbet Trendy Twine and my card was complete.

MCT 44th New Release Sneak Day 4

Hello Baby and Baby Word Die (Freebie)

Since I LOVE making party favors and a friend just posted the cutest pictures of her baby shower, I made some fun baby shower candy sticks.

To make these, I used the adorable Bunch of Stitched Doily Dies (new release) and stamped the sweet sentiment and cutie feet prints from the Hello Baby stamp set. Next I filled some candy sticks with pink/white and blue/white M&M's and tied the tags onto the tops using some Tickled Pink and Blue Berry Trendy Twine.

MCT 44th New Release Sneak Day 3

Welcome back to Day 3 of the 44th New Release from My Creative Time!
I really hope you have enjoyed the last 2 days of sneaks!

Today the DT will be showcasing projects using the new set~ Already Missing You! Isn't this flamingo just adorable???  Miss Emma has 2 flamingo's with the matching dies as well as several fun sentiments to pair them up with! For my card, I used one of the flamingo's and colored her with my copics. Using the matching die, I them popped her up onto the front of my card. Before that, I stamped the sweet sentiment, on of several in this set onto some patterned designer paper My Minds Eye. Finishing up my card with some kraft hemp twine and a few random enamel dots, I thought this card turned out super adorable!

MCT 44th New Release Sneak Day 2

  Good Morning and welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 44th New Release!
What did you think of yesterday's sneaks?? Pretty AWESOME right? Well today the DT has ton's more to share!!!!

Today I have 2 cards to sharing using the new set~
Wishing You Both the Best

For my first card I wanted to use that awesome big sentiment as my focal point. After playing around with the placement and ideas for this card, I decided to go CAS with this card and complement the sentiment with that fun Scalloped Bow Die. This is how I put my card together. I started off with a black cardstock base, added a layer of pale pink cardstock and then using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die, die cut a piece of glittery polka dot vellum. After putting my card together, I used a circle die from the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies set and stamped my sentiment into the center. To finish my card off, I die cut all the pieces of the Small Stitched Scalloped Bow Die 

I apologize now for the poor picture quality on this card. I could not get the lighting right to showcase the cream and pale pink colors in this card. So while you look at this, just picture the Square Stitched Goody Dies in a cream color along with the fun new wedding cake stamp and die from the Wishing You Both the Best. 

For those pretty flowers, they were die cut using a very pale pink matching designer paper. I  then added some silver stickles to the centers of each flower for an added glittery touch.
Finally to complete my card, I stamped the sentiment along the bottom of my image.

MCT 44th New Release Sneak Day 1

  Good Morning and welcome to Day 1 of sneaks for the 

My Creative Time 44th New Release!

Miss Emma has another AMAZING new release and the DT can not wait to share all of our projects with you! We all know you are going to LOVE everything in this release.

So sit back and get ready for a GREAT week of inspiration followed by our blog hop on Friday when we will show you all the entire new release and it will be available for purchase!

Bunch Of Stitched Doily Dies

For today's sneak I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and then my Stitched Rectangular Frame Die designer paper layer. Using some beautiful designer paper from My Minds Eye~Just Splendid I used one of the new Bunch of Stitched Doily Dies for the focal point of my card. I love to look through all of my MCT stamps and dies to use older sets for cards. Since me and the hubs will be celebrating our anniversary soon when I saw the sweet stamp from the We are Family set I new I wanted to use that for my card. Once the doily die was cut (don't you just LOVE the details?!?!) I stamped the man and women into the center. Moving onto the sentiment...Since I am crazy about my hubs :) I grabbed this sentiment from Bracket Sentiments and stamped it onto the banner from the Vintage Stitched Label Dies. As I was playing around with placement for the sentiment, I decided to hang it long wise on my card. Emma has added the button center die to the new Doily Die set so I took that die and made the hanger for the top of my banner. I then used some Totally Blue Trendy Twine which happened to be an exact match to my designer paper and added a simple bow.
