MCT 90th New Release BIG Reveal & Blog Hop

This has been such an inspirational week of amazing projects from the DT~ don't you think???
But there is one more day of projects with so lets get started....

For my inspiration I get to showcase the new set~
2x2 Note Die + Add Ons 
Take a look at my project. and let me know what you think...

The new 2x2 Note Holder Die is so adorable and makes for sure a sweet little gift. For this project I made a mothers day note pad holder using the newly released sets.

To make this I die cut the Note Holder die with some pretty designer paper. Then using the new Add Ons I die cut the flowers in pink, white and yellow scrap cardstock. The flowers were layered and added to the front of the note holder.

For the sentiment, I used the new Strip Sentiment Die and a saying from the Tweet Me set.

A little pen I picked up from Target fits perfectly to add to this project!!

MCT 90th New Release Sneak Day 4

Good Morning everyone and welcome to day 4 of sneaks for the
90th New Release from My Creative Time!
We have another great new set to showcase for you today
Introducing the beautiful new
Flower & Heart Mom Dies 
and here is my inspiration card...

Today is my MIL's birthday so the new MOM dies came at the perfect time!

Her favorite color is purple (could you tell..LOL) so I made her a pretty birthday card to celebrate her day.

I used lots of the new release sets for this card. I started with a kraft cardstock base and added a layer of white cardstock. I die cut the designer paper with the Stitched Rectangular Frame die and layered that onto my card base.

Again using the Heart Love Note Die set, I added a large purple heart to the center of my card, popping it up with some foam dots.

I then used the Add-On's for the larger and smaller hearts that back the Mom Heart Die. The smaller heart was also popped up onto the Mom die and the whole piece was added on top of the purple heart.

For the sentiment, I used the new Strip Sentiment Dies and the stamped sentiment from the new Hello Gorgeous set.

Some purple enamel dots completes this special birthday card!

MCT 90th New Release Sneak Day 3

Good Morning everyone and welcome to Day 3 of sneaks for the
90th New Release from My Creative Time!
I hope you are all enjoying the sneaks so far! The new release is such a GREAT one!!
But we are not done yet! Today the DT is showcasing the new
2X2 Note Holder + Add-Ons

Take a look at my inspiration and let me know what you think....

How adorable is this little notebook cover! It holds the 2x2 post it notes which is prefect for throwing in the car or your purse. I know I am always looking for a scrap piece of paper to jot down a thought :)

I made mine with a teacher theme since Teacher Appreciation week is coming up soon.

I used some lined designer paper which I die cut using the new 2x2 Note Holder.

For the sentiment I used the Write On stamp set stamping above and below the opening to the note holder.

Using the new Add-Ons die set, I die cut one of the adorable hearts and attached it to the opening of the holder. It is a great way to cover the opening but still allow for easy reach of the pad.

Finally to finish off my project I wrapped a piece of hemp twine around the whole note holder and tied a small bow off to the side of the heart.

Such a fun new die set to embellish for all sorts of things!!

MCT 90th New Release Sneak Day 2

Good Morning and welcome to
Day 2 of sneaks for the 90th New Release from 

My Creative Time!

Today we are showcasing the beautiful new~

Zig Zag Background Die
Here is my inspiration...take a look and let me know what you think...

I got alittle inky for this card and I think it turned out pretty cool looking.

To make my card I started with a kraft cardstock base and then took a piece of white cardstock and inked the background in a rainbow color with my Tim Holtz ink.

I then die cut the inked panel out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.

Now the super cool thing about the new Zig Zag Background die, it is the same size as the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die so I die cut the zig zag in white cardstock and then layered it onto my rainbow inked panel.

For the adorable sun and sentiments, I used the A Sunny Hello set and popped my sunshine up with some foam dots.

I did add some chalk ink to her cheeks as well as some white gel pen embellishments.

The "sunshine" sentiment die was cut in black cardstock and also popped up onto the card front. The other sentiment was stamped onto the new Strip Sentiment Die (I told you that this a an awesome new die!!) and popped up as well.

My colorful card is complete and ready to being some sunshine to that special person.

MCT 90th New Release Sneak Day 1

Good Morning and welcome to
Day 1of sneaks for the 90th New Release from My Creative Time!
We have 4 awesome days of sneaks showcasing the adorable new stamps and dies before Friday's BIG Reveal and Blog hop!

So lets get started on Day 1!! 

Today we are showcasing the ADORABLE new sets
Hello Gorgeous & Strip Sentiment Dies
Here is my inspiration...take a look and let me know what you think...

Pink white, kraft and of course FLAMINGOS!! I just love the new stamps and sentiments in this set!
To make my card, I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and then die cut my pattern paper using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.
I then used the Heart Love Note Die, cut in kraft for my heart focal piece.
I die cut the new flamingo and colored her using my copic markers. She was then popped up onto the front of my card with some foam dots.
The sentiment, from the new Hello Gorgeous set was stamped onto one of the new Strip Sentiment Dies and popped up as well onto the card front. I just have to add that the new Strip Sentiment Dies is a MUST have for adding all those fun MCT sayings to your cards. The sizes are AWESOME and I know will be another of my most used dies from MCT :)
Finally I finished off my card with some matching enamel dots from my stash.
Such a sweet card I think!

Congrats....{MCT Gift Card Giving}

Good Morning and happy Thursday everyone!

 Today is called Gift Card Giving and the DT is showcasing all the fun ways to make and give gift cards.

 I have a gift card to share perfect for the upcoming graduation season!

The Pretty Gift Card Holder Die is such a GREAT product and there are SO many ways to embellish it.
I made my gift card holder for the upcoming graduation season~ which I will be a part of, my son is graduating HS in June!!
To make my project I used some designer paper I found in my stash and die cut the gift card holder out. I also die cut the matching frame which I cut in white cardstock.
I used a medium star, die cut in gold to pop up onto the gift card holder. The star also holds up the frame where I stamped the sentiment and die cut the year.
A small die cut grad hat colored with a gold Wink of Stella pen completed my project.

Congrats....You Nailed IT!......{MCT Manly Monday}

Good Morning Everyone and Happy Monday!

I am up on the My Creative Time blog today with our

Manly Monday post!

This is where we make manly projects using MCT stamps and dies!

This one was actually inspired by a piece of designer paper I found in a new paper pack called Warm & Cozy by Jen Hadfield. I picked this paper pad up at Joannes and just love the outdoorsy papers.

Take a look at my card and let me know what you think...

How fun is that paper? This card was a very quick one to make and would be so fun to give to that special person.
To make my card I used a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and then layered the designer paper die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.
The sentiment and the nail die cut are from the Greatest Handyman set and were so perfect for this designer paper.
I ended up curving the sentiment to stamp onto the green part of the designer paper and then popped up the nail die cut in the "bullseye"
A quick and easy masculine card!

Happy Birthday...{MCT Birthday Palooza}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to another MCT DT post day!

Today we are sharing Birthday Palooza projects!!

I have a fun birthday card to share using several different MCT stamps and dies.

For my card today I made a masculine birthday card but this can also be changed with different color balloons to make a girly card.

To make my card I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and then die cut the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die in a pattern paper from my stash.

Then using the Stitched Large Balloon Dies and some Echo Park Dots pattern paper I added 3 balloons.

For the sentiment, I used the Script Words stamp set for the balloon strings.

Some enamel dots for some extra details completed my card.

So there is my completed card. I hope you like it!!
