Happy Harvest Gift Bag......{PKS Challenge}

Happy Sunday Everyone!
Hope you are all having a GREAT long Holiday weekend!!
We were going to head to our annual Labor Day Fair today but instead took the kids to get sneaker for back to school~ sounds like a fun switch~off doesn't it?? LOL!!
We WILL  head to the fair tomorrow after the Labor Day Fair in which both my son and husband are marching in for the Bulldogs~ my son's football team which my husband also helps to coach. So myself and the little one will watch from the sidelines and collect the yummy candy the kids throw and then we will walk the fair for a bit.
Anyways I was able to sneak into my craft nook to get a project done for the current
It is a gorgeous photo inspiration picture that I shared a pic down below but here is the project I made..... My inspiration for my project was the Fall colors....seeing that Fall is one of my FAVORITE times of the year I went with a fun treat bag. Hope you like it!!!
For my project I used the adorable Oval Window Treat Bag from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon that happened to be last week's freebie. If you missed it, Lisa has moved the bag into the $0.99 section. A steal if you ask me!! I will so be making more of these...they were super easy to put together and can be decorated for any holiday or event!

Once the bag was cut and ready to be assembled, I stamped the pumpkins from the PKS Faceless Fall set using matching designer papers all from Recollection Simply Autumn set. I decided to stamp the pumpkins twice so I could pop the center up for a little more dimension. Then using the leaf stamp from the same PKS set I stamped them on pattern green paper and popped them up under the center pumpkin oval. But before putting the pumpkins together I inked the edges with distress ink for some pop.

Then to finish my project up, I stamped my sentiment (also from the PKS Faceless Fall Fun set) onto one of the sentiment spot cut files from PPPR using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I should have stamped it using a richer ink...maybe versamark...even after heat setting the ink on the designer paper it still doesn't look quite right :(

Supplies Used:
Paper~ Recollections
Simply Autumn
Stamps~ Peachy Keen Stamps
Dies/Cuts~ Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon
Other~ Distress Ink
Gathered Twigs, Rusty Hinge, Peeled Paint

So there is my project! What do you think??? Hope you liked it!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT night!!!!
