Welcome to the Embossing Blog Hop
All projects in this hop...cards, layouts, altered, home decor, etc.. will include at least one form of embossing, either dry or heat.
Now you should be coming from Karen's but if you just stopped in and want to start from the beginning head on over to Georgiana's.
I have found myself more and more drawn to heat embossing....love the way it looks completed so
for my project today I made a cute little Easter Pillow Box, using the heat embossing technique the image is embossed using Deliquesce Black Embossing Powder from Creative Inspirations Paint
The Pillow Box, front and back liner as well as the ever so adorable sentiment tag are
Are they not the cutest....you can check the whole set out here. Also used for this project~
3 Girl Jam Crinkle Ribbon in Goblin Green and Witch's Brew (who said they have to be used for Halloween?)

Twine from Trendy Twine in Grape Fizz
Now...
For those of you not familiar with heat embossing here are the basic tools needed for this project
Heat tool ~of course
Stamp of choice to emboss~ I used My Creative Time's Hello Spring Stamp set
Embossing ink~ Versamark Stamp Pad, there are many others out there...I just LOVE my Versamark
Embossing Powder~ mine is Deliquesce Black from Creative Inspirations Paint
Extra's~acrylic block and cardstock to stamp on.
And here is what you do...
~Ink stamp and stamp image
~Pour embossing powder onto image while it is still wet.
~Tap excess powder off sheet and put back into jar.
~Heat until powder melts and becomes shiny.
This is so super easy and the end result....awesome in my opinion!!
