I have several cards to share with you today....the first one is using the adorable
I started with a black card base and added some designer paper from the DCWV~Home for Christmas paper pack. I added some zig zag machine stitching to the border and then tied some Totally Black Trendy Twine to a cute heart button.
For the main image, I stamped the cute snowman, added some color with my copic markers and then cut a frame around the snowman using my cameo. He was then popped up on my die cut Stitched XL Label Die from My Creative Time. Since the frame was black, I stamped the sentiment in white using some Colorbox Frost White Pigment ink.

For my next project, I made a set of  5 cards, all the same design but with different sentiments/pattern paper using the Holiday Wishes Stamp Set and a sketch from an older Retro Sketch design. You can click on the pics to bring them up larger if you want.
I used designer paper from My Mind's Eye~Lost & Found Christmas for all the cards. Each one is on a Kraft cardstock base, layered with a Bazzill card stock mat and the matching designer paper. For the embellishments, I used the matching enamel dots.
These cards are CAS, easy to replicate and make a great holiday card to mail to friends and family.

So there are my projects....I hope you have enjoyed them!!!!

Deck the Halls w/Inky Paws.....{Newton's Nook Designs GD}

Good Morning and Happy Hump Day!!
I am very excited to share with you some awesome news.....
not to long ago I was asked by Jennifer~owner and designer for Newton's Nook Designs if I would be interested in being a Guest Designer the first week of December. Well of course I said yes~ first because I had never heard of Newton's Nook Designs and secondly because I thought it would be a great way to share with my friends and followers an adorable stamp company that makes the cutest sets!
I was able to pick out 2 stamp sets to use and have several projects to share between today's post and the fun Blog Hop we have scheduled for Friday.

For my first card I used the Frozen Friends stamp set and made this....
I started with a Kraft card stock base and used designer papers from My Minds Eye~All is Bright paper pack.
I stamped the cute snowmen on a piece of the designer paper, and added a bit of color to them using my copic markers. I thought they would look adorable in a frame so I die cut the frame from My Creative Time~Just Simply Live set. I added additional hearts above the snowmen and then stamped the sentiment from the same set onto the frame.
After adding some stitching to the border of the designer paper as well as some zig zag stitching to add some more decorative elements, I put the card together. I thought it needed a little something more, so I pulled a snowflake punch out, added a few in the matching designer paper and then added some SU bling to the center. I also added touches of diamond stickles to the snowmen for a bit more sparkle.

For my next card I used the Holiday Wishes stamp set and came up with this CAS design
I actually am going to make several more of these to send out to friends for Christmas. For this card I started with a black card base, added a layer of green and then my top layer of white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment first onto the white card stock, making sure to line up the wording as best as I could in the center of the card. Once I was happy with the centering, I stamped my stockings above and then went to adding some color to the image using my copics. I wanted to add some more sparkle to the stockings so I brought out my diamond stickles again. To finish up my card I added a few red sequins around the sentiment and my card was finished.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards! I really had fun putting them together. Make sure to check out the Newton's Nook Designs Blog for more projects and inspiration using these sets as well as their store for additional stamp sets that are available.
Please come back and join myself and an amazing lineup of designers on Friday for the.....
There will be lots of inspiration and a prizes as well!

Have a GREAT rest of your day and thanks so much for stopping by!!!
