My Creative Time 31st Release Blog Hop!

Good Morning everyone and welcome to the
My Creative Time 31st Release Blog Hop!!!!!
I hope you have enjoyed all week of sneak peeks and the awesome projects the entire DT have shared! This is such a FAB release and we have one more day of inspiration to share!

The hop starts with
Emma over at My Creative Time
so if you are just stopping by make sure to head on over to the start so you don't miss a thing!
If you are coming from
Candace's Blog
you are right on track :) I will list the entire hop line-up down below so you don't miss a thing!

For my hop project I used the new Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves dies set along with a few other MCT goodies to make 2 projects to share. I hope you like them :)

My first project is a coaster post it note set.....
I started by covering a coaster with the beautiful MME designer paper~Honey. Then using a large binder clip, hot glued to the coaster, I added a stack of post-it-note paper. Each of the pages was then stamped using the sentiment from the new Springtime in Paris stamp set. To further embellish my project, I used the new Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves and some wool felt. Emma's dies are so perfect for cutting things other than paper and I use them a lot to cut out felt. LOVE the way felt looks on projects! I had some perfectly matched pink and white felt that I used and then hot glued them to the top of the bow. I added a small pen and made a loop to hold the pen using some May Arts ribbon.

My next project is a tag I made for Mother's Day....
The base of my tag is the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die  that I cut using some MME designer paper~Dolled Up. Next I die cut the Stitched XL Label Die using some white card stock and I stamped the calendar using the Whimsical Calendar Days Stamp set. I also used that same set and stamped the label border onto my tag giving the calendar a cool looking frame. The additional sentiment are from the new release~Pretty Spring Wreaths and again I added 2 flower die cuts and the fun leaf from the new Pretty Stitched Flowers and Leaves. Some white satin ribbon finished off my tag.

My Creative Time Sneak Peek Day 3

Good Morning
and
Welcome to Day 3 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 31st Release!
MCT April New Release
Are you ready for more amazing projects and inspiration from the DT?
Today we are sharing projects using
Wishing you were Here and Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves

I have a card using both sets to share....Hope you like it!
I wanted both the flowers and the leaves to be the focal point of my card so I used a very simple LO to design this project. I started with designer paper from Echo Park and layered each section using kraft card stock. Then using one of my favorite's~ I added some machine stitching to both of the panels before layering the mats together.
Using my cameo, I cut 2 ovals and layered those as well. I didn't add stitching to that because... well I can not stitch in a circle..LOL!
Then for the flower, I used 3 of the dies in the new set, layered them together and glued them to my card. I just had to add a bling to the center of the flower too~just for alittle something more :)
Finally using the banner  from the Vintage Label Dies I stamped my sentiment which is from the new Wishing you Were Here set.
I think this is such a pretty card and I love the new Stitched Pretty Flower and Leaves Dies..... there are so many ways to assemble this set and I know you will all LOVE it too....Just like this whole release!

My Creative Time Sneak Peek Day 2

Good Morning
and
Welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 31st Release!
MCT April New Release
What did you think about yesterday's sneaks?? Pretty awesome new stamps right??? Well there is TONS more to share!!!

Today we are sharing projects using
Way to go and Main Street
and  I have 2 different projects to share using both sets.

My first card uses the new Main Street stamp set.....
For my card I used the XL Label Die to make a frame in my designer paper. Then using the new "road" stamp, I stamped in on the white card stock that was placed behind my designer paper. Then using one of the new building from the set, I stamped it, fussy cut it and popped it up to sit on the road. I added a heart from the 4x4 Journal Die + More and the sentiment is from This and That. I added some random pattern stitching around the border of my card and mounted the whole card mat on some Kraft card stock.

For my next project I made a very quick and easy gift card holder for a friend of mine who every year rides in a fundraiser to support Breast Cancer. I will then add my donation in her support to the inside
For my gift card, I started with some kraft card stock and the Embossed Gift Card Holder Die. If you don't own this die yet...it is a MUST :)
Anyways...after I had the gift card cut, I die cut the adorable bike from the new Way to Go set. This is just the silhouette of the bike, there are many pieces that can be layered on top too! I added some Stitched Grass to the bottom, die cut the basket that fits onto the bike and filled with with some hearts from the 4x4 Journal Die + More. Finally I stamped the sentiment (also from the new Way yo Go stamps set) on to the top of the gift card holder and now it is ready to give to my friend!

My Creative Time Sneak Peek Day 1

Good Morning
and
Welcome to Day 1 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 31st Release!
MCT April New Release

Today we are sharing projects using
Spring Wreaths and Build a Pretty Flower

I have 2 cards to share with you today....one using each of the new sets.

My first card is one I made to give my mother-in-law for her birthday. She loves the color purple and I wanted to keep the flower from the new Build a Pretty Flower set the focal point.
Using 3 stamps from the set, I stamped the petals using Dusty Concord Distress Ink and layering the the second petal stamp on top using versamark onyx black ink. I just love how these stamps layer! So pretty! Then for the stem, I used the Peeled Paint Distress ink. I did add a rhinestone to the center of the flower for a little extra sparkle and layered the sentiment using one of the new ones from the Pretty Spring Wreaths set. I added some machine stitching for the border and my card was complete.

For my next card I made a sweet Mother's Day card using the Pretty Spring Wreaths stamp set.
I used scrap papers from my every growing pile and cut a fancy border using the Fun Stitched Border Dies and attaching it to my card using a zig zag stitch. That beautiful wreath was stamped using Peeled Paint Distress ink and a few random flowers were stamped on top using Victorian Velvet Distress Ink. To finish my card off, I added some Posy Trendy Twine

So what do you think? I know you will all LOVE these new stamps! They are so much fun!!

Hop Time....
I am the last stop on the hop so you should be coming from
Saundra's Blog
If you are just stopping by please head on back to the
Peachy Keen Stamps blog
You are not going to want to miss a thing!

For my project I wanted to make a menu dry erase board for my kitchen. My kids ask me every day what's for dinner...so now I can direct them to this fun project!
So adorable right? This was really quite simple to put together once I had all the measurements and the design laid out in the silhouette designer studio. I had this picture frame in my back room just waiting to be altered, it will be easy to change the background paper if the colors in my kitchen ever change :)
I used the adorable PK~1384 Retro-bet Round letters for all the wording and colored each one in with my copic markers. Then for the shake and burger I used the new PKSC~28 April 2014 SOTM those also were colored with my copics
Here is a closeup of the cute burger. Don't you just love his face??? I added some white pen dots to the bun and some light chalk to his cheeks and OMG I just think he is too cute!
And here is the cutie shake! She too was colored with my copics and it is really hard to tell but her top is also colored with my Wink of Stella pen for some added sparkle.
Finally after the days of the weeks were adhered down to the background paper and the burger and shake were popped up on top of the panels, I embellished a bit more by adding some enamel dots.
The glass went on the paper, the frame was completed and now it is ready for my dry erase marker and the weekly menu!

So what do you think?? I hope you have enjoyed my project!!!
Thanks so much for joining us today and we all
hope you have enjoyed the hop!
Have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!
