For my project I wanted to make a menu dry erase board for my kitchen. My kids ask me every day what's for dinner...so now I can direct them to this fun project!
So adorable right? This was really quite simple to put together once I had all the measurements and the design laid out in the silhouette designer studio. I had this picture frame in my back room just waiting to be altered, it will be easy to change the background paper if the colors in my kitchen ever change :)
I used the adorable PK~1384 Retro-bet Round letters for all the wording and colored each one in with my copic markers. Then for the shake and burger I used the new PKSC~28 April 2014 SOTM those also were colored with my copics
Here is a closeup of the cute burger. Don't you just love his face??? I added some white pen dots to the bun and some light chalk to his cheeks and OMG I just think he is too cute!
And here is the cutie shake! She too was colored with my copics and it is really hard to tell but her top is also colored with my Wink of Stella pen for some added sparkle.
Finally after the days of the weeks were adhered down to the background paper and the burger and shake were popped up on top of the panels, I embellished a bit more by adding some enamel dots.
The glass went on the paper, the frame was completed and now it is ready for my dry erase marker and the weekly menu!
So what do you think?? I hope you have enjoyed my project!!!
Thanks so much for joining us today and we all
hope you have enjoyed the hop!
Have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!
