It is back to school for so many kiddos so I thought I would get a jump start on my PL page for when my boys head back to school in a few weeks. To make my page, I used all scraps of cardstock. BONUS!!!
Since my PL spead had 2 4x4 sections and 4 2x2 sections, I decorated the larger sections to house the pics from the first day of school. I used the 4x4 Journal Die for the bases and die cut cork paper using the Stitched Bracket Dies. The sentiment was then stamped onto the center of the cork paper using the stamp set~Write On. Some simple embellishments, staples and enamel dots finished up those 2 sections.
For the first section of 2x2 squares, I used the 4x4 Journal Die + More set for the bases. That adorable apple die cut is from the Love to Learn set and again I used all scraps for each of the pieces. It was popped up using foam adhesive for alittle extra dimension since it is a stand alone section. The next square was set aside for my 7th grader :( It is so hard to believe that Parker will be in 7th already! I used the Bunch of Stitched Stars and some yellow cardstock for the star and popped him up with some foam adhesive. Then using the same cork paper, I die cut the 7th out from the Number Fun Dies + Add On set.
These 2 2x2 squares were done the same way as above. The only difference was instead of the apple, I used the fun pencil die cut and added some "scribble" below it using the You are Fabulous stamp set.
