Somebunny Special.....{Trendy Twine DT}

Good Morning everyone!
I am up on the Trendy Twine Blog today with some fun Easter Treats!

Easter is just around the corner and I have a fun, easy project to share using the Featured Products of the month from Trendy Twine~
Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine and the Small Candy Sacks.
How fun and adorable are these? I ended up making an insert to place inside of the Small Candy Sack. That way I could stamp my sentiment on the front panel of the insert.
To make the insert I cut a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock at 6 1/2" x 2". Then added a strip of designer paper, cut at 1 3/4" x 12" to attach to the white cardstock. I started wrapping the designer paper at the top of one end and adhered it all the way around to the back. It does not cover the whole piece of white cardstock....BUT that is ok, because the back side of the panel where the sentiment is will not be seen :)
Then I took the covered cardstock and scored it at 1" and 2 1/2". Stamp your sentiment on the front panel and then this whole piece just drops into the Small Candy Sack perfectly!
For my sentiment I used the stamp set Color Me Happy from My Creative Time!
(it is currently on the retired list so if you are thinking about this set, make sure to grab it before it is GONE)
To close up the Small Candy Sack, there are several different ways you can do it. I am showing 2 different ways here using the Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine. For this one, I folded over the top of the bag and attached a mini clothes pin. Taking some Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine I threaded it through the middle of the mini clothes pin and then tied it in a bow.
For this package, I again folded over the top of the Small Candy Sack and punched 2 holes through the top. I threaded the Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine through the holes and then tied a simple bow.
Fill these with your favorite Easter Candy and you can make some ADORABLE and quick Easter basket fillers! Of course I had to fill mine with some Bunny Peeps...a favorite treat in my house :) Some filler grass and my projects were all ready for the boys Easter basket!
