You are in for another treat with today's sneaks!
Today the DT will be showcasing projects using the new set~
Love You Bunches & Jr. Rolled Flower Dies
I have to admit I am not one to add flowers to my cards BUT I just LOVE playing with Miss Emma's Rolled Flower Dies and I am pretty impressed with myself on how my card turned out :)
To make my card, I wanted to keep the focal point on the new Jr. Rolled Flowers so I picked out some designer paper from My Minds Eye to use as my card mat. I die cut it using the lg Stitched Rectangular Frame and then added a banner flag using the Tag Die Layer. Next I die cut 2 circles, stamping my sentiment onto the smaller one from the sneaky peek set~ Love you Bunches. I added those to the front of my card, offsetting the smaller circle a bit to leave room for my flowers.
Putting my card mat aside for a bit, I die cut 3 of new flowers~ 2 of the smallest ones and 1 of the next size. I rolled one of the small ones tighter than the next one and then let the largest one be a bit bigger. I wanted a graduating look with the roses. I used my hot glue gun to hold the roses together and then glued them onto the card mat~ again with my hot glue gun. I wanted to add some extra sparkle to the plain cardstock flowers, so using my Yellow Wink of Stella pen, I colored all the petals. Boy does it give a gorgeous sparkle. Finally my roses needed some leaves so I used the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies for the greenery. Some random black and gold enamel dots and my pretty card was all done :)
