For my inspiration today, I have a CAS holiday card to share and after many attempts to make it just right (in my eyes of course) I think this card turned out beautiful.
Let me know what you think :)
For this card, I had pictured in my mind a city building all decorated for the holidays. Lights lite up on the sidewalk with wreaths and holly decorating the poles, frosty windows from the warmth inside the house and the cool air outside as well as the decorated windows.
So now that you know where the design came from for this card, I tried to recreate it in my card.
I started with a white card base and added a Stitched Rectangular frame using some red cardstock. Next I die cut the window and the window ledge and added some vellum to the back to give the frosty look. I popped that up onto the card from using some foam pop dots and added the sweet sentiment below.
Next I used the lamp pole from the Wishing You Were Here set, adding yellow lights for that soft glow :)
Finally I die cut some holly leaves from the Boughs of Holly set (a MUST have for the holiday season....LOL I have used them for the past 2 days) placed them on the pole and the top of my window and finished my card off by adding some glittery holly berries.
