Now for my projects.....
I have 2 different ones to share using 3 of the sets being showcased tonight.
First up....
For this card I used the new adorable Ghosts from the PKSC~32 August 2014 set and paired it up with the sentiment from the PK~1420 Trio of Girl Ghosts sets.
After stamping the ghosts onto some white cardstock, I die cut them using MCT Bunch of Fun Circle Dies. Using the next size bigger, I die cut 3 more circles in black cardstock to mat my ghosts onto. For the sentiment, I used the new MCT released Fun Speech Bubbles Stamp set, the sentiment from the PK~1420 set and popped it up to make it look like the ghosts were saying "boo". I finished it off with some thin hemp cording in matching orange and black and wrapping it two times around my card tied it with bow. It is kinda hard to tell in the picture but I did lightly color the ghosts to give them some shadows using my copics :)
and next...
LOL! Isn't that sentiment too funny??!?! When I saw it I knew I had to make something with it!
I started this project by cutting out a milk carton container that I picked up in the Silhouette store. After adding my layer of pattern paper and some fun google eyes randomly placed, I set this aside to make my sentiment piece. Yes this is a tombstone BUT I love the look of it as a decorative sentiment spot, so I stamped the "Will Work For", the decorative scroll and the "eyeballs" onto the piece. The great thing about this new set is that there are tons of different sentiments that you can add! Mix and match and make some fun sentiments!! All of these are on the new PK~1421 Ye Olde Boneyard stamp set. I popped the sentiment up onto the front of my milk carton after adding some May Arts and Twill Tape ribbon. Finally to close up my milk carton, I added a cute little clothes pin and attached a big google eye to the front of it. This can easily be opened to add some treats and then reclosed!
So there are my sneaks for today! I sure hope you have enjoyed them!!! There is tons more coming tomorrow BUT make sure to check out what the rest of the DT has made!!
You will LOVE all the inspiration!
Tomorrow night we have five more stamp sets to give you a peek at, and then on , Tuesday August 5th we’ll be back with our Release and Reveal Blog Hop along with a chance to win a $50 PKS Gift Certificate!
Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT night!
