Happy Holiday's.....{TKJ Color Challenge}

Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!!!
It is time for a new challenge over at
 The Kraft Journal!
This week the challenge is:
A Color one using the photo seen here
I know Thanksgiving is next week and this picture is all Thanksgiving but I wanted to take a few of these colors and make a Christmas card instead.
So using the Browns, Green, Red and Cream from the picture
and the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch
 I came up with this card. I hope you like my inspiration!
I started my card out with a Brown Kraft Cover weight Card Stock and then added a layer of green cardstock and designer paper from Lilybee Design~Jingle Mistletoe. Next using my sewing machine I added a stitched border around the mats. To add some texture and following the sketch, I added a piece of Natural Burlap Ribbon around the center of the card.

Moving onto the focal point of the card. Using some E-Flute Corrugated Kraft Paper, I die cut the piece using My Creative Time~Vintage Stitched Label Die and added more cardstock and designer paper using die cuts from MCT~Scallop & Stitched Circle Dies. For the sentiment, I took a Canvas Tag, separated the layers and die cut the banner shape. Then using the sentiment from MCT~From Our Family to Yours I stamped onto the canvas using Versafine Onxy Black ink.

So there you have it....
my inspiration for this week's challenge.
I hope you have enjoyed my card and will play along with us!
As always I have linked all the supplies I used from The Kraft Outlet throughout my description.  If you have not checked out the store yet....make sure you do! There is so much available, the prices are so reasonable and shipping is super fast!!!
