Pretty Papers.......{TKJ}~~~~{2nd Post}

Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!!!

It is time for a new challenge over at

 The Kraft Journal!

And this week we want to see your

Pretty Papers

I LOVE pretty papers and tend to hoard them...LOL! Don't we all right??? So for my card today I used the sketch from Deconstructed Sketch #109 and made a Christmas Card. Hope you like it!

And came up with this card...... Hope you like it!

I started out with a Brown Kraft Cardstock base and added some layers of designer paper from My Mind's Eye~All is Bright . You know me..I couldn't let my card go without some added stitching, so I ran my mat through my sewing machine adding zig zags between each of my different pretty papers.

Next using my Cameo I cut 2 circles, one in the brown kraft cardstock and the other in the matching designer paper to stamp my sentiment from 

My Creative Time~Just For You.

I further embellished my card using some Cream Twill Tape, Red Metallic Twist Hemp Cord , some felt flowers and leaves from my stash and a gold blinged up Custom Fastener.

 So there you have it....my inspiration for this week's challenge.

Santa's Bakery.......{PKS Challenge}

Whoo Hooo! It's the weekend! 
Super excited to hang low this weekend, get some crafting in for the upcoming week and spend LOTS of family time.

I have had an exciting week on the blog....I have the honor of being the Guest Designer for 

My Creative Time for Emma's new July Release!

Now onto my project for today. I wanted to play along with the new 
Peachy Keen Stamps challenge 
and will also link this up to a bunch of other challenges but here is what PKS is asking for this week.....

And here is what I came up with. Hope you like it!!!

I purchased this cute 3D cookie box from the Silhouette store and had not had a chance to cut it until now.....And with the July SOTM stamps it was just calling to be made into a Christmas treat box. Since I have no Christmas cookies to add to this yet, I will save it for when I do and probably give it to one of the teachers as a gift. 

 I used quite a few stamps from the new release as well as the matching SVG files~ wow they make using these stamps so easy with those!! After laying out how I wanted my box to look, I cut the box part using some Recollection papers and then used the stamps to do some paper piecing and copic coloring~all with the matching papers, lots of stickles and some foam pop dots.

Then to tie it all together, I wrapped the box using some Holly Berry crinkle ribbon and some Candy Cane Trendy Twine. My treat box could not go without a cute tag, so using the new release Tag Die and Stitched Round Tab from My Creative Time, I added my sentiment from PKS July SOTM set as well as another paper pieces Holly leaf.

So what do you think??? Would look adorable packed with some Christmas cookies right????

Ready to see my inspiration for Day 2??

I made this fun card today based on a sketch I saw over at CAS(E) this Sketch....and after making it, I thought it could be a fun baby card, anniversary card or just a cute way to make a baby announcement...What do you think?

Can you tell all the fun MCT stamps and dies I used??? There are several....

But besides those I also added some machine stitching around the mat of my designer paper, some random sequins and the fun Tim Holtz film strip die.

I do have to say I think this card turned out super cute :)

OMG it is like a crafty dream come true to be sharing all these awesome stamps and dies with you all!! And you know what...they are AMAZING!!! I SO LOVE them all!!

So lets get on with my sneak for day 1...

I made a set of mini notebooks...3 to be exact and I would have continued making more~cause they were so fun and super easy to so~but mark my word I will be making more!!!Maybe as stocking stuffers for the kid's teachers???

Anyways here they all are...Since you will be guessing the products I used to make these cuties, I took some individual pictures so you can see each one better.

Notebook #1 would be perfect for taking notes of all the great gift ideas for your love ones, friends and teachers... Besides using a bunch of MCT products, I also added some machine stitching, 3GJ crinkle ribbon in white, a jingle bell I had laying around in my stash and some

Peachy Keen Goodness.......{Challenge Cards}

Happy Tuesday Everyone!!!

I have 2 cards to share that I made for the Peachy Keen Stamps new release challenge going on over at 

The Peachy Keen Connection

Up first is  Challenge #1~ Lorie's Challenge: 

Color Challenge: 

Make the Christmas creation of your choice, but DON'T use red or green. Think outside the box and use non-traditional colors for this challenge.

For my card I started out with  a 4x4 square card. That adorable penguin came from the Silhouette store and of course had to add my cute PK face to him. I further embellished him using my copic markers, some white gel pen doodles and chalk for his cheeks.

To add some more details to my card, I used the snowflake border punch, my sewing machine, 3GJ crinkle ribbon and some yummy Trendy Twine. Then for my sentiment I used My Creative Time~From Our Family to Yours stamp set. I couldn't help but add some bling in the form of a pretty pink button I had in my stash :)

 VACATION!!

Create the project of your choice with a vacation theme.  Have fun with this and let your imagination soar! 

When I think of vacation, I think of the kids home from school and the NEVER ending Popsicles I keep the freezer stocked with :) So for my card I made an easel card with non other than a Popsicle.

I LOVE the adorable faces that came with the June SOTM set and had to use one of cuties from that set. I inked up her eyes using my copic markers and my white gel pen as well as adding some pink chalk to her cheeks and more white gel pen doodles.

The easel card is a file from the Silhouette store that I altered slightly to cut the way I wanted. I did end up pulling the Designer Paper to the inside mat and using My Creative Time~Vintage Stitched Label Die added my sentiment also from the June SOTM. Finally I wanted to add something else to the Popsicle so I tied a bow using some Lemon Tart Trendy Twine.
