Inspired By: Valentine's Day
how perfect...right :)
Here is the card I made for the challenge.....

A mini 3x3 using a cut file from the Silhouette Store.
It was so super easy to put together and all I had to do was embellish the way I wanted...with some Creative Inspirations Paint of course!
I used a mix of Ivory and Autumn Wheat for the band and some Rustic Red for the letter "u".
If you have not noticed by now....I LOVE my CI Paints for chipboard..They cover them so well and give such a GREAT shimmer!!

 Valentine's day projects, 

so for my project I made some pillow boxes that will be going to my son's classroom for their Valentine's Day party.

I used the color combo from this weeks

The Play Date Cafe

and came up with these.....

My son is having a Valentine's Day Party and wanted cute but not cheesy saying treats to hand out :)

I think this about covers it...don't you??

I ended up making 16 total...4 of each design.

They were very easy to assemble and embellish...especially for a bunch of 6th graders who are just going to throw them out after they get the candy that is inside!!

So there is my Valentine's Day treat!! But before you head out I have some 

BLOG CANDY!!!

LOVE U~ Valentine's Challenge Card (2nd post)

Hi Everyone!!

~This is my second post for today.... if you are looking for my TAWS card click HERE~

I have been busy in my craft room all day today getting things done for our upcoming

PTO Staff Appreciation Luncheon. 

This year the theme is Mardi Gras! How fun it that!!

I have the teacher's invite all made and ready to place up on the teacher's board tomorrow 

and I just finished making 88 tags that will go on the pretzels I am dipping this weekend.

Once everything is done I will post pictures of it all!! I can not wait for you all to see it!!!

So I took a break from the purple, green and yellow to make another Valentine's Day card to enter into a few challenges....

Using the color combo from this week's Peachy Keen Stamps challenge and the sketch from this week's Retro Sketches...

I have this thing with using felt lately! I love how it cuts with dies and the texture it gives cards!! Plus you can stamp on it.... LOVE this!!!

Now onto my project.....
I made a pillow box...my very 1st one using acetate and my cameo!

After cutting out the pillow box and carefully folding the score lines I attached a piece of card stock the the outside. The edge of the card stock on the pillow box was ....blah so I decided to again try something new and sew a trim using some Trendy Twine

Look at how cool it turned out!!!!

Here is a closeup of the sentiment~ from Jaded Blossom's Got Candy set
it goes perfect with the "kiss" I cut out using my cameo.
I wrapped some aluminum foil around it to give it a more realistic look, added some glossy accents to the "chocolate" and tied it all together with some more Trendy Twine :)

Today I am sharing a baby card using this month's new release~

Tiny Treasures

This is such a GREAT set! How cute are all these images!!

Here is the card I came up with...

I used the adorable onsie, the postage stamp and the sentiment from this set along with the "welcome" sentiment from Jibber Jabber.

The designer paper is from First Edition Paper~Bird Song paper pack.

I embellished my card with some Trendy Twine in Chocolate Cupcake and a sparkly gem.
