The Cutting Cafe~ Loopy Loopy Bow~Flower

Good Morning Everyone!!
I am here to share my first project as a DT member with

This week the DT is showcasing the Loopy Loopy Bow~Flower
and this is what I came up with...
With Valentine's Day right around the corner I thought I would get a jump start on some special treats for my boys to hand out.
All of my cuts and images are from The Cutting Cafe
Assorted Milk Carton~ with the heart cut
Loopy Loopy Bow Flower~ medium and small bow cuts
All Occasions Tag Set~printable stamp set

Here is a closeup of the Loopy Loopy Bow Flower...
Now when I say this is easy to put together...it is more than easy to put together :)
Regina has the file so perfect that cutting it out and deciding colors takes more time!!!
I added my own ribbon flower center using 3 Girl Jam crinkle ribbon in Holly Berry.
The milk carton is closed together with a white satin ribbon, tied in a bow where my big
Loopy Loopy Bow Flower is hot glued to.
FYI~ the bottom is still open so I can fill my milk carton with some Valentine's goodies
(have not picked up any chocolate or conversation hearts yet LOL)

So if you like my project hop over to The Cutting Cafe and pick up these files...
They are all so much fun to use and decorate!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Welcome to DIANA'S ~ DL.ART 1 year blog-a-versary blog hop!!

I am so excited to be a part of Diana's celebration!
She is such a great blogging buddy, a truly inspirational crafter and all around great person!!
This lineup is full of fun inspiration and a GREAT challenge!
So
If you are just dropping in you will want to head over to Diana's blog to start this hop :)
If you are hopping through you should be coming from Carri's blog...
Now I know you have heard this from the others but...
Including me there are 13 stops you will be making. On these stops, you will find four people with a word  that will give you the clues for the ingredients you will need to complete your project. Each of us designers will have a project that will inspire you and also have some clues as to what the ingredients are.
You will have until Jan 6, 2012 @ 11:59 to link your project using the 4 key words. Once you have linked your project, you will have a chance to win the Provo Craft Cricut "Sweet Tooth Box cartridge" at  DL.ART.
Not only do you have a chance to win this cartridge..which I am dying to get :)
Diana
also had a fun sponsor for this hop...
Robyn from My Pink Stamper!!
There might even be some more blog candy along the way so in order to win you must leave a comment on all the stops along the way.

Now onto my project~
I made this fun celebration card that will go into the mail to Diana on Tuesday!
Happy 1 Year Blog-oversary my friend!
It has been a great year with you as a blogging buddy and I hope you like your card!
My card was made using a Kraft card stock base...
Designer paper all from my stash~
the Green Polka Dot is from 25 Days of Christmas~ Peace Love Joy
Brown DP~ Cosmo Cricket~Turn over a New Leaf
and
Cream and Pink card stock
The #1 is cut from the Simply Sweet Cartridge at 1.75"
I used my Xyron machine and Kunzite (pink) glitter from Martha Stewart for lots of sparkle
We all know Diana LOVES her glitter :)
My sentiment is from My Creative Time~Gift Card Sentiments
it was stamped on cream card stock then punched with a notebook border punch.
I also glittered that using glue dots and again the same pink glitter.
I free cut the banner pieces and distressed the edges then added some green buttons from my stash.
I really love the way this card turned out and hope Diana loves it also!

The Cutting Cafe Gift Card Holder~PKS Anything Goes Challenge

Good Morning everyone!
Can you believe that Christmas is almost here?!?!
I am so excited and I know my kiddos are even more excited!
For some reason though this year has come so much faster and there just is not enough time to get everyone done....I was panicking yesterday but now that all the Teacher's and student gifts are completed and will be handed out today I feel more relaxed.

I wanted to share the gift card holders I made for my boy's 3 main teachers.
The file for the holder is from The Cutting Cafe~
Talk about so easy.....there are 2 different styles to this file
plain and with scallops as well as both of those with and without the notches.
I used Kraft cardstock to cut the holders out and attached DP from my stash for the top layer.
Those adorable Ginderbread cuties are from PKS~408 Gingerbread Doll Set
They were also stamped on Kraft Cardstock then colored with my white gel pen, cheeks made pink with chalk and their hats paper pieced and stickled.
I tied tulle around them all in a bow
and attached a small jingle bell to the center using twine.
I think they turned out super adorable...
what do you think?
Here are some individual pictures of the little boy and little girl.
Too cute!!
I am entering this over at PKS~Designers Choice

I am now off to get the kiddos ready for school!
It is a fun filled day of parties....Yippee!!

Thanks for stopping by!
