2016 Baseball Season.....{MCT Scrapping the Little Things}

Before I share my PL cards I want to apologize for not being around the last 2 weeks. My kids were on break and then we had a death in the family that kept me away from FB and commenting here on blogger. Please know that I will catch up with everyone this week and can not wait to see everything that you all created that I missed.

Now for today's project. Baseball season is just around the corner for my son so I thought I would start his album for both his House League and Travel League.... here is what I made

I left the 2 large spaces open for Parker's team pictures. Both panels have the sentiments stamped onto the new Ribbon End Banner dies using the Alpha Pack. I also used the In Stitches die for some extra details. The 4 smaller panels were cut using the 4x4 Journal Die from designer paper from Doodlebug Designs~home run. The top panel was part of the paper that I used because...well in Parker's eyes it is all about baseball...LOL!!
The next panels I used the Pretty Bold Numbers to die cut the date. Finally the last panel was another part of the designer paper but I did add some die cut stars to show the positions Parker plays.

MCT 48th New Release Sneak Day 4

Good morning everyone and welcome to the final day of sneaks for the 48th New Release from MCT before the BIG reveal and blog hop tomorrow! I hope you have enjoyed all the projects so far this week from everyone on the DT! They have been AMAZING!!

Today the DT is showcasing the sets~

Mixed Just for You & Stitched Apron Dies

OMG you are going to LOVE the cuteness in both of these sets!!!!

I couldn't help but make an adorable card using the fun stitched bakers hat from the Stitched Apron Die and adding the cutie face from the new Mixed Just for You set. Bringing up the cuteness level just a little more, I added some glasses to him...so CUTE!! You can find those in the You Had Me At Meow set. Once he was all put together, and some glossy accents added to the glasses, I put him aside to dry and started on the card. I used my FAVORITE die~the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die for my card mat and added 2 die cut squares from the Stitched Squares Inside & Out set. Next I stamped the sentiment onto the smallest square using the new Mixed Just for You set. To finish my card off, I added some Totally Red Trendy Twine and a few random die cut hearts from the 4x4 Journal Die & More set.

Gone Fishing!.....Scrapping the Little Things w/My Creative Time!

Good Morning and Welcome to another Scrapping the Little Things with My Creative Time! 

Before I share my PL cards I just want to apologize for not being around all last week. I was home in bed with pneumonia :( My oldest has been sick since before the 4th of July with pneumonia and just finished his second round of antibiotics. Then my youngest got an ear infection. Well 2 rounds of antibiotics for him as well so you know I was bound to get something from those kiddos. All last weekend I was feeling worse and worse and Monday morning it hit me hard. Off to the Dr's, a chest xray later to confirm and home to bed for the week. I did manage to make it to my son's All Star game but even sitting out in the fresh air wore me out. I am happy to say (even with this annoying cough still) I am feeling better and got in a weekend of baseball too!

Now onto my PL cards...

My kiddos are so lucky to have inlaws that have a summer home on the lake. We try so hard to make it down there are much as possible and when we do go, the boys spend HOURS fishing both on the dock and in the boat with my father in law. When Emma released those adorable new fishy stamps and dies, I knew I had to scrap some of my favorite pics of the boys fishing!
These pictures were taken last summer (I know I am WAY behind in my picture scrapping..LOL) I used the Stitched Journal Die for the 3x4 pic and shaker and the larger 4X6 Journal Die for the larger pic.
The sentiments on the smaller picture was stamped from the set~Find Joy in the Little Things on one of the tags from the Fun Stitched Tag Dies set. The larger sentiment, from the same above set was stamped onto the banner from the Vintage Stitched Label Die. I did embellish that further by adding some silver thread behind the sentiment. Kinda looks like fishing line doesnt it?
For the final 3x4 pocket, I made a fish bowl shaker. I stamped, die cut and colored the adorable goldfish and placed him inside the pocket with some blue sequins, a colored plant and then added a layer of vellum to the top.
