Warmest Holiday Wishes....{MCT Inspire Me Wednesday}

Good Morning and welcome to another
Inspire Me Wednesday with My Creative Time!

My inspiration today came from  Pinterest and the fact that Christmas (I know, I'm talking about it already and its only the beginning of November) is right around the corner.
I love giving little gifts to my boy's teachers for the holidays and even though it may be a small gift of some chocolate or a gift card for a cup of coffee, I love making the packaging just as special as the gift itself.
There are ton's of ideas on using Muslin Bags ~mine are from State line Bag Company and how you can decorate them with some simple stamping.
Take a look at my project....
To make my project, I took a Muslin Bag, stamped it using Stazon Jet Black ink with the sentiment from the newly releases set~ You Deserve a Break.
Yes I would and could have been happy leaving it just like that but I wanted to add a little more embellishing to my bag. I die cut some of the holly leave using wool felt and then hot glued them to my muslin bag. Guaranteed to stay on so the recipient can easily regift this bag if they wanted :)
Finally I added a gift tag to the bag using the Holiday Tags stamp/die set. I did add some more holly leaves so that the whole project matched.
Filled this cutie bag with some crinkle paper and a gift card and my gift is ready to give.

Let's Celebrate.....{3GJ}

Morning and Happy Friday everyone!!!
I have a fun and easy Celebration project to share for
3 Girl JAM
that also fits our current challenge going on all month long!
So as a reminder the challenge is
Celebrations
because we are celebrating 3GJ's 2nd Birthday!
So we want to see any project you make that celebrates something!!!
And here is what I made...
I LOVE stamping on the Muslin Bags you can pick up in the 3GJ store. They make great gifts for packaging all those fun treats and are so super easy to embellish with some of your favorite stamps and of course ribbon :)
So using one of my favorite new stamps from My Creative Time~Build a Chevy Background I stamped first the thicker chevron using Stazon Black ink and then the smaller dotted chevron using Fired Brick Distress ink.  Then using the Let's Celebrate stamp set for the sentiment, I again stamped using the Stazon Ink.
When I make these, I always pull out the rope ties that come with the bag so I can add my 3GJ ribbon instead. Using a combo of Holly Berry Crinkle Ribbon and Sunflower Crinkle Ribbon I threaded the ribbon through to tie in a bow on the side.
Then using the party die from My Creative Time along with the new color of Trendy Twine~ Cherry Lemonade, I added them to my ribbon bow and tied them all together.

I sure hope you have enjoyed my project and will play along with us over at the
Remember you have all month to share those
Celebration
 projects
Thanks so very much for stopping by!!
Have a GREAT Friday!!

So onto my project....
I LOVE my canvas bags.....
They make adorable packaging for your gifts
and seeing that they are our awesome sponsor and 3GJ is now selling them in the shop (did you see that.....they are now for sale over at 3GJ HERE!!!)
I have probably my favorite canvas bag project ever to share....
I started with a plain 4x6 Cotton drawstring bag and pulled the drawstring out.
I knew that I was going to use 3 Girl Jam Crinkle ribbon in Holly Berry  and Tuxedo
as my bag closure
For my main image I wanted to try something different so I used some
I ended up filling in the image with different designer papers from my stash and then printing the whole image out on the transfer paper.
Next comes the fun part....I ironed the image onto the canvas bag and tada....
I was really happy with the way it turned out but thought it could use something else so I un~stitched the whole bag and added my own stitching around the vinyl art. I also added a dimensional heart.. cut with My Creative Time's stitched heart die on some wool felt.
Then re~stitched the entire bag back together.
So there it is....
What do you think???
I sure hope you have enjoyed my project and will play along with us over at the
