MCT 72nd New Release BIG Reveal & Blog Hop

This has been such an AWESOME few days of amazing inspiration from the DT~ don't you think???
But there is one more day of projects with so lets get started....

For my project, I get to showcase the new set
A Sloth Holiday
here is the card I made using that set......

To make my card, I started with a white cardstock base, added a layer of kraft cardstock and my top mat of designer paper from Doodlebug Designs (Here comes Santa Claus) die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.

Next I die cut 4 of the branches from the Fun Stitched Ornament & More set using matching designed paper from the same pad. Those branches were placed in a "bunch" onto the front of my card mat.

That super ADORABLE image is from the new A Sloth Holiday set. I stamped and die cut him out, colored him with my prismacolor pencils and then popped him up onto the card in the middle of my branch bunch using some foam squares.

The sentiment, also from A Sloth Holiday was stamped onto the smaller of the new Gingerbread Banners. That too was popped up onto the front of my card using some foam squares.

Finally to finish my card, I added some small red pearls onto the branches.

Now for the entire release.....

Little background before I share my card....my son is a HUGE Bigfoot fan...and I mean HUGE. He watches the show Finding Bigfoot every Sunday night, has the Gone Squatchin' hat and Bigfoot tee shirt as well as wants to go and find Bigfoot himself .....SO when I saw the super adorable image from the Deep in the Woods set I was excited but he was OMG over the moon excited!

This leads me to my card....a CAS Bigfoot card just for him...because like Bigfoot, my son is one of a kind :)

LOL!! Is he not the cutest Bigfoot EVER?!?! I just LOVE his cutie face :)

I stamped him on Kraft cardstock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and then colored him using my prismacolor pencils. I wanted to add some additional details to him so I stamped him again on a piece of designer paper from Bo Bunny~ Camp-a-lot collection and then pieced only his belly onto the image.

I finished my card off by stamping my sentiment and then tying a piece of natural hemp twine around the top in a bow.

Easy, fast and so perfect for my son!

Good Morning Everyone!!

It is my DT day over at The Alley Way Stamps and I have a card to share using one of the new release stamp sets for this month.

So for my CAS card I used the new set 

Tag~Alongs

And came up with this......

 I used a bracket cut from the Silhouette store and added my sentiment and adorable owl. How cute would this be to make with each of these adorable images.....

Here is the cutie owl up close. I colored him with my prismacolor pencils and added a line of stitching and a little bit of zig ziz~ couldn't leave the stitching out now could I :)

So here is what I made~
I used an image from I am not sure...it was a prize I won a long time ago....a bunch of stamped images so if you know who she is..please let me know :)

I had so much fun putting this card together! I used my Cameo to cut the 3D umbrella, and added some 3GJ crinkle ribbon in Baby Blue (from the Baby Bundle), Trendy Twine in Lemon Tart and the sentiment from My Creative Time (Teeny Tag Greetings)

I colored her with my prismacolor pencils (a new addition to my craft room..thanks to my super sweet hubs!!) They are fun to color with and I know with more practice and lots more videos I will improve!

I did add some yellow stickles to her raincoat and hat, couldn't help it and of course added some machine stitching!

So there it is....
