Good Morning and Happy Tuesday everyone!!!
I took the weekend off from the craft room to spend some much needed time with the family. My son had his first football scrimmage of the season and then the hubs and I spent a night out up at the casino in Niagara Falls for our anniversary.
We were celebrating 15 years :) even though our anniversary isn't until this weekend...we had to take advantage of the night with nothing going on...no football and no baseball and my inlaws in town to take the kids.
We had so much fun....came away without losing all the money in our pockets and it was nice to spend some time together. With our crazy schedules and his work schedule it has been a year since we have gone out...Yikes! It was so needed!!!
Anyways since I usually do my Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge project over the weekend, I didn't get a chance to make it until yesterday and now I get to share it with you all today!
Here is the Challenge~

3-D Objects :: Pets
Create the 3-D project of your choice using a pet theme.
And here is my take on the challenge~
If you don't know, or couldn't tell by my blog name~ My hubs and I raise chickens.....I LOVE them and they make such GREAT pets! Plus they give us something in return...Fresh Eggs!
So for this challenge I used my adorable, and probably favorite stamp~ Henny Penny for my get well gift sack.Inside the sack I put some Chicken soup of course, some tissues, hand sanitizer and some cough drops. Wouldn't this make you feel better???
So here is how I made this..... I made an SVG cut for Henny Penny and cut the shape out using my Cameo. Then stamped the image onto my cut to begin the minimal coloring needed to finish her. I colored her with a mix of my prismacolor pencils and added a bit of dimension to her feathers using my copics. Next she was going on a tag that I die cut using My Creative Time~ Just Tag Die. I wanted my tag to have something else other then Henny Penny and my sentiment, so I added a very light spring chicken background~ also from MCT.
Next I stamped the same background onto my canvas bag. I wasn't too worried about making each section perfect....I wanted it to looks like it was meant to have some imperfections in the stamping :) The background stamping goes all the way around the bag so there is the same flow throughout.
Then to finish off my project, I added a big bow to the bag using some gorgeous May Arts ribbon that I got from a NEW online store~ My friend Beckie over at Sparkly Sweet Craft Notions! To attach the tag to the ribbon I added a decorative safety pin and my project was complete!
Supplies:
Paper~ Kraft, Cream, White
Henny Penny SVG (self made)
Sparkly Sweet Craft Notions~ May Arts Ribbon
Pin
So there is my project....What do you think?????
Thanks so very much for stopping by and have a GREAT day!!!
